I believe there is a good chance that in the coming weeks the contract will be signed with a major electric company that will be using LTBR's metallic rods. This should positively influence the decision of DOE. The voucher for Framatome is already a good sign.
Partnerships are key to accelerating adoption of new fuel concepts. We’re pleased to receive a voucher from @GAINnuclear to work w/ @INL supporting ongoing development of the Lightbridge Fuel™ design by @EnfissionLLC. @Framatome_ @LightbridgeCorp. https://t.co/oepAzo39cH pic.twitter.com/Y3UtmGOUJu

Yield10 Bioscience (YTEN) Now Covered by National Securities
Jan 25th, 2019

Yield10 Bioscience logoInvestment analysts at National Securities initiated coverage on shares of Yield10 Bioscience (NASDAQ:YTEN) in a report issued on Wednesday, The Fly reports. The brokerage set a “buy” rating and a $5.00 price target on the specialty chemicals company’s stock.
Commercial Relationships In Early Stages. Since late 2017, two research license agreements have been reached with Monsanto and Forage Genetics International, major players in the soybean and sorghum markets, respectively. While these are research agreements for now, we believe these announcements validate Yield10’s technology and represent the kind of relationships that could generate commercial revenue.
High Ceiling Value. Between the value of the IP portfolio in the near term, and the potential value provided by commercial revenue streams, we believe shares of Yield10 could prove to be materially undervalued at current levels. Should commercialization agreements materialize, we believe our twelve month price target could prove to be conservative.”
The market does not appreciate these weak results...
This company is a joke. Management is not capable of generating shareholder value.
The CEO should obviously resign. Seed results were said to come out early 4th Quarter, now we are almost at the end of the year.
Increasing Crop Yield Through Smart Approaches In Trait Discovery

In Yield10’s research, the use of these models from the perspective of the company’s trait discovery and development program are detailed extensively, and one day may make significant impacts on the cost and timeline for developing new yield traits for major row crops – all of which could help in the challenge of addressing global food security challenges.
To fulfill biofuels’ promise, scientists boost plant oils with gene editing

To Peoples, the future looks promising. A 20% increase in the yield of conventional oil crops like canola and soybean could boost the economic value of these crops by $10 billion, he says. If the current techniques work well in camelina, the company will attempt similar gene edits in canola and soybeans.
Although Yield10’s primary goal is to sell its camelina oil for human health products and as an ingredient for agricultural animal feed rather than as a feedstock for biofuels, Peoples says the gene-editing discovery made by Yield10 could be beneficial for that type of application too.
Yield10 won’t disclose the exact edits its scientists made to improve camelina’s oil production, citing proprietary information. But presentation slides shared online on Nov. 4 for investors indicate that edits to genes that the firm calls C3008a, C3008b, and C3009 work to increase oil production by simultaneously increasing fatty acid biosynthesis and blocking the metabolism of the synthesized lipid.
At the same time, Yield10’s Canadian subsidiary, Metabolix Oilseeds, is working to edit a gene the company has called C3007 in camelina and canola. Gene C3007 encodes a protein that negatively regulates a key enzyme in fatty acid biosynthesis, acetyl-CoA carboxylase. By decreasing the activity of this negative regulator, the firm aims to boost the enzyme’s activity and make more plant oil.

We actually get asked that a lot. And so it's an interesting thing and so we've really, not really paid any attention to it. I mean, we do see the sort of spikes in interest. We see some of the original industrial biotech companies jumping into it to make various things and yeast, and we see companies that are -- that seem to be perhaps overvalued, but we haven't really spent any time looking at cannabis.

Recent news releases underline the big potential of YTEN. Waiting for the news release which will boost us above $3 bucks...
I agree, good deal for Pershing. Glad I bought some shares at $0.90, my avarage is now $1.70. In yesterdays conference call new management indicated that the plan is to have the financing done for the Relief Canyon mine in the next 2-4 months. They seem to have good contacts as they have just recently put a mine into production (below estimated costs!). The new managment sounds very straightforward and competent imo.
Today's news release is very promising imo. Land O'Lakes is no joke:

September 05, 2018 08:00 ET - Yield10 Bioscience Reports Promising Seed Yield Results for Novel Yield Trait C3004 in Growth Chamber Studies in Camelina
--Fast-Tracking Deployment of C3004 Trait into Canola and Soybean
WOBURN, Mass., Sept. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Yield10 Bioscience, Inc. (Nasdaq:YTEN), a Company developing new technologies to create step-change improvements in crop yield to enhance global food security, today announced promising results for its novel yield trait C3004 in growth chamber studies conducted using its Camelina platform. Camelina plant lines containing C3004 grew vigorously, and the best lines produced increases in seed yield in a range of 26% to 65% as compared to control plants. Yield10 plans to conduct field tests of the C3004 trait in Camelina as part of its 2019 Field Test program in Canada. In addition, Yield10 is fast tracking deployment of the C3004 trait into canola and soybean to determine if the trait produces similar effects on plant vigor and seed yield in major oilseed crops.
“Our early research results with C3004 in Camelina including plant growth and vigor, branching and seed yield, though preliminary, are very encouraging,” said Kristi Snell, Ph.D., Chief Science Officer of Yield10 Bioscience. “These initial seed yield data for C3004 suggest we can harness the metabolic machinery of plants to drive robust increases in seed yield in Camelina. The next step is to determine if the effects of C3004 on plant vigor and seed yield can be successfully achieved in Camelina under field conditions and translated into canola, soybean and other commercial crops.”

“A key component to Capstone’s growth strategy is to increase our quarterly aftermarket service revenue and expand aftermarket gross margins to the point that they cover 100% of our quarterly operating costs,” said Darren Jamison, President and Chief Executive Officer of Capstone. “The FPP attachment rates on our combined heat and power (CHP) business has historically been much higher than our oil and gas customers, but we are seeing that change as oil and gas customers see the tremendous value and peace of mind provided by our factory-backed guaranteed life cycle contracts,” added Mr. Jamison.
PUC Adopts Policy Statement and Creates Working Group to Advance Development of Combined Heat and Power Technology in Pennsylvania
April 05, 2018
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today adopted a policy statement geared toward helping advance the development of combined heat and power (CHP) technology. Additionally, the PUC’s Bureau of Technical Utility Services will initiate a CHP Working Group to engage with stakeholders and encourage the deployment of, and reduce barriers to, CHP initiatives in the Commonwealth.
CHP captures the waste heat energy that is typically lost through power generation, using it to provide heating and/or cooling for manufacturing and business. CHP is an efficient means of generating electric power and thermal energy from a single fuel source, providing cost-effective energy services to commercial businesses like hospitals, universities and hotels.
“CHP offers a variety of benefits,” noted Chairman Gladys M. Brown in a supporting statement at today’s PUC public meeting,” First and foremost, CHP supports environmental stewardship through increased efficiency. Also, it provides economic benefits to its adopters through reductions in energy consumption. Further, it supports reliability and resiliency as a distributed energy resource.”

Nice week of gains for Capstone. Hopefully more will follow next week. A market cap of at least $100 million is appropriate for this great company in my opinion. Awesome products; cost-control; big business opportunities
Market cap still seems pretty low imo in view of the annual revenues and the future potential income.
Concerning cash; this is from the previous conference call:

Lets see how the numbers will be. Q4 preliminary numbers should come soon. Two things of interest below from the previous conference call in February.
- We had previously announced that we were expecting to see an expansion of our accessories, parts and service business over the next 2 quarters, with increased revenue and improved margins from last year's rates. I'm particularly pleased to say that the Q3 service margins were a record 41.6%, and they should remain in this range for Q4 and Q1 of the new fiscal year but then start to build over the next several quarters toward our final target goal of 50%, driven by the continued population growth of our new Signature Series product and the continued development of our spare parts remanufacturing program.
- During the third quarter of fiscal 2018, we recorded a $700,000 bad debt recovery in SG&A from our new Russian distributor. Under the agreement, our new Russian distributor had a payment of $1.8 million that was due on February 1, 2018. This payment has not yet been received, and we are currently in discussions with them regarding the timing of this payment.
Well, enough is enough. Darren Jamison needs to go. Again no new order today. We need someone with credibility and someone who has a proven track record of increasing shareholder value.
That lazy Darren Jamison needs to be fired. No new order today.
“The CHP market in Spain and Portugal have been depressed for several years, it is good to see the dedication of our distributor beginning to pay off,” said Jim Crouse, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Capstone. “We expect this to be the first of many new projects to come from the region,” added Mr. Crouse.
Nice order today which shows the geographic diversification and also indicates possible future business. However, bigger orders are needed. What is DJ up to these days? The market wants a large multi MW order and we will see $2
DJ needs to deliver some big multi MW orders. Quick, fast and in a hurry...
CPST looks poised to move up even higher in the coming week. Lets hope for some big new orders. We might move above $1.50
Above $1.10 - Looking good today. A big new order tomorrow would be nice...
