I guess the shorties trying their level best to hold this down. Now that results day has been announced.
I hope for once, Plug crushes the results real hard this time, on all the parameters.
Do you think the cost of these recent acquisitions will impact earnings in any way.
Also, were these accretive right away?
Frustrating but true BDW. With all that Plug has going, the SP should have been well above $20 by now.
I also feel that Andy is being just a wee bit conservative in forecasting the future for Plug. He can surely play it up a bit more.
Sad to see it go all the way up to 9.66 and then drop down to 9.00. Why can’t they hold that increase?.
I am pretty sure that they have a few orders on hand as they talk of manufacturing in Dec 2020 for deliveries in 2021.
BLDP announces a $7 mil deal and its SP goes up 10 to 15%. Why can’t Plug associate some numbers with their PRs. These kind of Product Launch PRs without any business forecast, have no impact.
Usual PR with no numbers associated or talk of orders/customers.
Will not have much of an impact. Typical Plug PR.
What is so great about this news. Is it not stale and sort of obvious.
I agree that he has done a lot and all the right things for Plug. I am happy with the SP as it stands today but I feel that he can surely brag a bit more now that he has such a great future in sight.
I can’t stand the sight of BLDP being ahead of PLUG.
Struggling around the $9.40 range. Unbelievable.
This morning on the Benzinga interview Andy made a mention of working with DHL for forklifts and GSEs at airports. He did not quantify but did say that he has a lot going with DHL.
Somehow Andy has stopped painting a very rosy picture of the future. Right now, given the positive sentiment around the fuel cell industry in general, he should be sounding a lot more positive about Plug’s future.
Did Morgan Stanley not set a PT of $34 for Plug recently. There target now shows the price as $8.5.
All these guys need to revise their price targets for Plug. The price is any way above most of the analysts targets.
Agree with you on the industry strategy. I thought that the float for Plug and BLDP were about the same.
I hate to see BLDP going up on a measly $7 mil order. Would be happier to see ahead of BLDP. Hope that happens soon.
Cheers!!
Still can’t accept the price difference between Plug and Ballard stock.
With so much positive news and way higher revenues, Plug should have been ahead of BLDP.
Are the bigger investors keeping Plug under some control??
Has anyone been able to register for the meeting. I keep getting an error message on the link that they provided.
Interesting pattern in the trade over the last couple of days. Goes up for about an hour or two in the morning and then comes right back down to the 4.18 - 4.20 level.
I feel that Andy needs to demonstrate some meaningful success in other potential market segments like electric vehicles or back-up power.
Even in the material handling segment we have not seen much success beyond fork lifts in warehouses.
As a result the perceived value of Plug is not increasing. People will get bored with the forklift story quarter after quarter.
This stock should otherwise be well over $10 by now. Why is BLDP at $10 despite inferior financials.
UK - he is standing by the yearly guidance numbers despite the pandemic. Not many will be doing that this year. That in itself is a great positive .
Ballard did not.
For the quarter the profitability figures look a bit skewed but he stands by his yearly sales and profitability forecasts despite the Covid 19 situation. Hopefully we see an improvement in the coming quarters.
Service costs were high in the first quarter due to peak demand.

Why is Zacks so anti Plug when most other analysts have a favorable opinion.
I feel that their forecast today has a very misleading opening. Later in their statement they appear to be very ambiguous.
Is the a last ditch effort by the shorts to cover up? Why the fall in SP today
BLDP after missing estimates is going up and Plug after meeting/beating estimates is red.
Just annoying.
On one hand they say that Plug exceeded revenue estimates and met the EPS estimates. Yet this report says that Plug did not meet revenue estimates. Confusing??
Why the talk of gross Billings and the other revenue figure which is lower?
Correction - Earnings should read (0.06) and not (0.6).
Revenue is actually $94.5 for the 4th qtr and earnings of (0.6). Exceeded revenue estimates and met earnings estimate.
Agree. Hopefully that is not the case.
As it is more of a partnership for offering Class 6 trucks, I doubt they will have a value to declare. Unless they have an order in hand for Class 6 trucks.
I think he expects Lowes to fetch about $50 mn.
There were no negatives. He is upbeat about 2020 growth with 90% visibility and is confident of meeting the $1bn target by 2024.
Was also hopeful of getting more customers in segments other than material handling.
I thought one of the Analysts said that we have Home Depot and that Plug could thus expect more orders to follow.
Yeah. Thanks Scuba and BDW.
A bit concerned by Zack's analysis. Don't understand why Zacks who was a supporter once is now critical of Plug.
Why the drop today BDW. On the other hand BLDP with nothing much to brag about keeps going up.
I guess it was 6th Nov. At least that was the date of announcement.
That is just the problem with Plug over these last 6/7 years.
I could have made more money by cashing out at all the peaks and re-entering at the lows.
Even a billion dollar future cannot shake this stock out of slumber.
Article supporting Plug's chances for growth.

Losing steam I guess.
Wonder whether any of the recent PRs were one of the remaining 3 major announcements?
The article says nothing about the source of power. Fuel Cell based vehicles will also be called electric vehicles. With Ford and Amazon as investors, I am pretty sure that the van will have fuel cells either as the prime source or as range extenders.
Can't believe that it did not cross $3.00 today. Desperate effort to keep it down.
Dam it ! It shot to $11 on just the Walmart news and nothing else.
With this kind of news and potential it should be over $20
