Thanks for the link Mike, I got lost in the weeds.

Videojet, a look at the process we are about to rewrite, with invisible ink no less. A bit dated (prior to our engagement) but a good peek into their business. I hadn't before given any thought to their other verticals, Food & Beverage, Automotive and Wire & Cable to name a few...

"...so wealthy that no one can control", not a very encouraging thought, untrue as it may be, I don't like it, particularly given his gross ineptitude and lies in all matters. That having been said, I am hopeful our tech will see its day. Unfortunately, given the current climate, perhaps driven by global protectionism rather than product safety or humanitarian concerns.
Great to hear. Can't help but wonder what, if anything Borealis, Rosier's exclusive European fertilizer distributor, might follow with.
"With over 50 years' experience in the industry, Borealis is an innovative and reliable supplier of superior polyolefin plastic materials used in consumer products, advanced packaging and fibre..."

American & Efrid Collaboration Update
It's been a while since our PR release on 2/27/18. Thought it interesting, perhaps promising that the day before, 2/26, Platinum Equity announced they had signed a definitive agreement to acquire American & Efrid (A&E) from KPS Capital Partners which is expected to close in 2nd quarter of 2018. One look at their holdings boggles the mind with potential expansion into numerous industries in their portfolio.
About Platinum Equities
Founded in 1995 by Tom Gores, Platinum Equity is a global investment firm with $13 billion of assets under management and a portfolio of more than 30 operating companies that serve customers around the world. The firm is currently investing from Platinum Equity Capital Partners IV, a $6.5 billion global buyout fund. Platinum Equity specializes in mergers, acquisitions and operations – a trademarked strategy it calls M&A&O® – acquiring and operating companies in a broad range of business markets, including manufacturing, distribution, transportation and logistics, equipment rental, metals services, media and entertainment, technology, telecommunications and other industries. Over the past 22 years Platinum Equity has completed more than 200 acquisitions.

I share your concern Otis, on the bright side I'd like to think perhaps a new policy is in effect but honestly that just may be wishful thinking (you still with us WT?). Given previous year PRs and our dismal pps performance maybe no news is better? Unlikely but... It appears our Videojet arrangement, given their "billions" of daily markings, could indeed provide an opportunity to break out. While we've debated ad nausium the value of serialization, it's the most ubiquitous tech out there and our incorporation into established norms seems a natural and extrodinary extension to their product line. Hope is all I have. GLTA
IF in fact our partnership with Rosier S.A. proves fruitful in the fertilizer market, might not that beg the question how we could help here:
Hey Mike, reminds me of the .05-.30 ride we were on yesteryear. AG nailed it at the time. Sometimes we learn the hard way. Take half off the table immediately would be my take.
Yes, I'm well aware of that Cheekie. Serialization has it's limits, my point is that we are in a very good position to make it much better, and my guess is we're not alone in industry and governmental efforts to make it so.
I'll agree to disagree. No APDN executive to my knowledge has ever said or intimated that, I believe that's a gross exaggeration/misrepresentation. Done.
Since my earlier mention of Systech yesterday (48767) there's been a flurry of comments from O2D2, Abe and you. Unfortunately I don't have access to their Financials (would appreciate a link) but I think it would be a mistake to trash serial numbers at large. Currently used by most everyone they provide an excellent opportunity for us to improve by piggy-backing our tech onto their numbers. As I've said:
"And there's Systech, a widely know "competitor", at least until you see that they're partnered with Videojet too.
Quote:
Systech is the global technology leader in product safety, and consumer and brand protection. Systech pioneered serialization and is defining the future of authentication.
The world’s largest pharmaceutical companies trust their brands to Systech’s technology solutions. Systech unifies and optimizes enterprise serialization, track and trace, and authentication technologies to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and drive efficiency and profitability."
Not that I recall, I was referring to total tagged cotton for the Fiscal Year PR made 11/7. In any event I wonder how Revenues are Expected to be Recognized in FQ4’17 and FY18 given our improved terms?

Company Shipped Orders for SigNature® T DNA to Tag 93 Million Pounds of Cotton during Fiscal 2016 — Revenues Expected to be Recognized in FQ4’16 and FY17
Now we're due.
Another thing.
I can't say the thought hasn't crossed my mind. But at what price? Our current market cap is around $60M. No doubt our patent portfolio and increased public awareness are of growing worth, but at what multitude, 20Xs our MC right now would be $1.2 billion? Surely a steal. Perhaps Jeff Bezos with a $94.4 billion 2017 Net personal worth will see the value.
On another note. Many of us have tracked Authentics in the past. Was owned by The Carlyle Group based in Washington DC. Now, in September, acquired by Blue Water Group in London. Looks to be even more Fuel focused.
And there's Systech, a widely know "competitor", at least until you see that they're partnered with Videojet too.

I had trouble too Cheekie. FYI, last month CNBC published "Amazon is on the brink of deciding if it will make a big move into selling drugs online". I wouldn't hold my breath just yet, but it's an interesting thought.

Here's a link, I cant open the Preview, my OS is NG, but you may be able to. Or buy the 18 page Draft as as a member @ $58. It's also out for public comment which is more advanced than ISO 22382 in the approval/publish process. Keep your eyes peeled. ISO likes to harmonized their efforts and avoid re-inventing the wheel, if we're referenced in one...
https://www.iso.org/standard/73857.html
Good morning Mike. Sole source from a Standards (ISO) organization isn't in the cards. They would never do that, although being mentioned, among others, as a current provider of acceptable solutions, or in a detailed Annex to the Standard that provides guidance and/or suggestions of acceptable technologies, could open the flood gates. Not that I expect immediate implementation, it will take months if not years for that, but just inclusion in a publication from ISO would have tremendous consequences. My guess is that a public release wont happen until January or so, so the challenge right now is to get a look at the Approved Draft (including Annexes) ASAP.
While the BEP of course may be involved, the Standard under development goes much further than a BEP "print standard". It specifically addresses "Authenticity, integrity and trust for products and documents" worldwide. The implications are unfathomable.
