Excellent questions Jaggy. The first three can be answered by FASC, and the last by Market Smart.
Please let us know what you find out after you call.
Thanks,
Charlie
OT: Hmmm...RB goes offline and the stock price of FASC goes down. Whodathunk they were linked together?
Has anyone heard when RB is going to be back up?
Charlie
Sam, if they do sell in that price range, they won't be alone I'm sure. There are many of us who have been here a long, long time who will take some money off the table.
Hopefully there will be continued buying to help support the share price during that time.
Thanks, for writing to the Prince George city council. Let us know if you hear back from any of them.
Charlie
Can't be IE Jag, because it works fine for me. Maybe it's something in your settings. I'm using IE6.
My son uses Firefox, but it seems to use a lot more memory than Explorer.
Looking forward to another green day today.
Charlie
Sam, per my earlier response to you regarding the share count, why don't you write to them?
What I did today was search for "wastewater", "sludge" and "Mass" (for Massachusetts), then wrote a letter to the head of the wastewater treatment plant of 3 local towns, telling them about FASC. I included the FASC web site and a link to today's PR. And I plan to do more tonight.
Being proactive makes one feel much better about one's self.
Try it!
Charlie
Sam, pardon me for jumping in on TR's post, but he's always suggesting to the bashers to call for themselves.
I think that applies to us longs too. I've called and posted before, maybe today is your turn.
Charlie
Yeah!! Another test!!!!
See how positive that can sound when written without the sarcasm?
I've been hoping that FASC would, at some point, be able to release (relatively) back-to-back PRs, in the hopes that they would jump start the pps movement.
If we do see 5 cents today I'll be so excited that I'll probably sh$t my pants. So I guess you'd be right Jagman...there will be dumping!
TR: I appreciate all the effort you expend trying to keep the bashers at bay, and the newbies informed, but don't you get tired of always having to type all that info about what's on the plate for FASC?
You should just prepare a separate text file and simply do a cut & paste whenever necessary.
Just kidding of course.
Thanks for having the patience to deal with "you know who" in a more civil manner than most would.
Charlie
Pity is not something I dole out lightly, so you, Jagman, should be honored when I say...
I pity you.
I don't think the company was involved yesterday, since the price went up.
Maybe they were buying?
The bid is up to .035 today.
Charlie
OT: Here is an interesting paper which expains all the benefits of hemp - and why it was made illegal.
http://betterdifferent.com/hemppaper
Charlie
Don't know what was on that site Sam, but my company's internet policy dispayed our infamous ACCESS DENIED! screen.
Boy, am I in trouble now.
Charlie
Sure volume is up from the end of last week, but nowhere where it should be to warrant a comment like yours. Unless, of course, you were just trying to stir up trouble like you are so wont to do.
I won't get too excited until I see volume over 500,000 by noontime.
Have a nice day.
Charlie
TR: Looks like the same will soon be able to be said for VMHVF also. It's up .035 @ .14 on 1 million shares.
Geez Jagman, you are such a pessimist. With no dilution in over 3 months, plus a decent PR, you just can't accept the possibility that the stock is moving up because it's undervalued and is finally being noticed.
So sad.
It's a wonderful day (IMHO)...try to enjoy it.
OT dc_320: Is that photo a picture of the first hole...or the hardest? If it's the first hole then the designer of the course is an GDSOB!
Ever par it?
"nettering Naybobs of negativity"
I love it!
Forget 3M...we've got 3N
OS = 181,443,955
As of June 7 2005
Data from Pacific Stock Transfer 1-702-361-3033.
I take a lot from these boards, and don't contribute much, so I thought I'd at least make a phone call.
Approaching 3 months without any dilution!
Charlie
bobsnook: I noticed in the "Board Info" above, that the "Investor Update by Lighthawk" link takes you to post 4291, which was from 7/30/2004. The OS then was 169 million, plus we're missing a few PRs.
Can you update the link to one of Lighthawks more recent updates, either hear or on RB?
Thanks, Charlie
Thanks for calling TR. Nice to see that the OS still hasn't moved since March 16th. Over 2 months with no dilution means we must be getting the money from other sources, like the $70K in licensing fees reported on the 10QSB.
Keep up the good fight CPAman, it's much appreciated.
Charlie
Jagman: Just wondering...how long did it take you to find that 4 year old post? A lot of wasted time IMO.
If you have that much time on your hands, do as TR suggests and call the company.
Be proactive for a change.
Depends on how you take the sign Bob. At least we're not moving down.
I don't need my ship to come in today, but it would be nice to at least see it on the horizon.
Cheers, Charlie
Thanks for the DD TRCPA, it was a very good non-PR! Although it does sound similar to the Atlantic Packaging demo unit, I think this one has will have a more positive result. I just wish we didn't have to wait until November for the results. I am getting so tired - not to mention old - waiting for FASC to take off.
They don't mention which model is being installed - can we assume it's still the KDS250?
Would love to see a PR regarding this, even if it was written half as well! Although it probably wouldn't move the PPS much, since we've known about this for a while...just didn't know the exact location.
FWIW, I'm not buying any more. Lately, everytime I do the PPS drops.
Charlie
Good information Jagman.
I wished I had had some extra cash lying around when Martha's stock hit $7 last fall. It was back up to the mid-30s until recently.
Hopefully FASC will give me that extra cash to be able to scoop up some of those types of stock in the future.
Charlie
On Monday only 20K shares get traded and the bid/ask both move up. Yesterday we trade over 1.3m and drop at the end of the day.
This stock frustrates the hell out of me! What I'm afraid of is that we'll get the PR we've all been waiting for, and see volume of 4-5m...but minimal pps movement.
I'm okay now...just needed to vent.
Charlie
Techisbest: I'm sure that if the tee shirt actually gets made, you might have more than 6 posters interested in buying one - there a lot of us lurkers out here.
Just wondering, before this happens, should you run this by the legal folks at FASC? Wouldn't want to do anything to piss them off and shut down all communication with us.
Cheers, Charlie
How do you un-ignore someone? I've looked but can't find it.
TIA, Charlie
Waitedg: Nervous fingers will be when my mortgage refinancing goes thru and they cut me a large check which is supposed to pay off my credit cards.
It will be sooooooooooo tempting to buy a boatload of FASC for one month and hope that the PR which smashes over the bow of this boat and sets her asail hits during those 30 days.
Now don't go and tell me that's a stupid thing to do...I already know it.
But on the other hand, no guts - no glory.
Charlie
FWIW: In going over my taxes today, I came across my E*TRADE confirmation for one of my first online stock purchases:
2000 shares of FASC at .21 9/23/1997
Oh how sweet it would be to see that share price again (sighs heavily).
Maybe by the time tax day comes around, that sweetness will have already been tasted.
Oh the other hand, I do have a nice refund coming my way. Hmmm, what should I do with that.............?
Cheers, Charlie
"If we go down, I am buying more pronto. If we go up, will likely add also"
What Waitedg, no plans to buy if we go sideways?
I've been waiting for just one of my stocks - any one! - to take off so I could pay off my CC debt, but since none are moving I'm refinancing my mortgage and rolling the CC debt into it.
Now when FASC zooms to the moon, it's all mine!
Charlie
Waitedg: I'm happy for you and wish I had that many shares also, but please do me a favor. When it gets time to sell, please don't feel the need to publish the details of every little sell like you've been doing with all your buys.
Thanks.
Okay now FASC, let's get this show on the road!
Charlie
Nice finish to the first week of the new year. Whether it's because of no more tax-loss selling, the implementation of SHO or buying before a PR...I DON'T CARE.
Just happy to be in the black again (At least on half my shares anyway).
Looking forward to next week.
Charlie
If you're looking for the Weedie in those pictures you'll have to go to number 58 of 61.
But it's there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OT: But I thought this was an anti-semantics board! lol!
BTW, if you want to see a good old film about anti-semetism, pick up "Gentleman's Agreement" starring Gregory Peck and Dorothy McCure. I saw it this weekend and highly recommend it.
CW
If this is true, is it worth putting a PR out? Did they do that last year for Phase I?
Even if they don't, it's another feather in the FASC cap. Pretty soon we'll have a complete headress!
Charlie
OT: Anyone have the link to that site with the photo of a soldier and two Iraqi kids holding a piece of cardboard - where what you write shows up on the cardboard?
TIA, Charlie
First American Scientific Corp. (OTCBB:FASC) signs collaboration agreement with Mitsui in Japan.
Wednesday July 14, 9:30 am ET
VANCOUVER, July 12 /PRNewswire/ - Mr. Kantonen, Chairman of First American Scientific Corp., is pleased to announce that FASC has signed an agreement with Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. (MES) who will conduct a feasibility study into the marketability of the KDS Micronex System in Japan and evaluate the opportunity of venturing into a licensing agreement to introduce the technology to the Japanese market. In addition, MES has agreed to undertake all necessary steps to file and protect First American's patents in Japan.
Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. has annual sales in excess of $3.9 billion USD. In addition to its core business, Mitsui manufactures engines, boilers and gas turbines, as well as builds plants for refuse disposal and water treatment and is active in the environmental industry. Mitsui, through its worldwide affiliates, has established joint enterprises in Japan with overseas IT venture businesses. The overseas partners provide products and technologies as well as new business models and their experience in markets overseas. Mitsui brings its market expertise as well as capabilities for performing back-office functions, handling distribution, and other business know-how.
First American Scientific Corp. is the owner of the patented KDS Micronex System, a unique one step process for drying and grinding waste biomass into a fine dry combustible fuel. According to David Dungate, V.P. of Marketing for FASC, "significant costs of waste disposal and recently introduced legislation requiring recycle of food and industrial wastes make Japan a high potential market for the KDS technology. The de-watering of waste biomass and other sludges can create a fine dry green fuel source that will achieve significant energy savings and, in some operations, can eliminate disposal costs."
First American Scientific Corp.'s president, Brian Nichols announces: "We are extremely fortunate to have joined forces with an industry leader of the calibre of Mitsui who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the First American team. Upon completion of Mitsui's analysis, we expect them to take a much larger role in introducing our technology to the Japanese market"

It's a minor point, but one thing that impressed me was the quality of the video. It wasn't the 1" x 2" rectangle with poor resolution which we so commonly see. It was a large window with good motion and audio.
I also liked finally to be able to see the vaunted "bars" I've heard so much about.
Let's hope this new video is part of a larger marketing push which will hopefully lead to the first AGES sale.
Cheers, Charlie
I wrote to Mr. Jacobson yesterday (got a reply 10 minutes later) wanting to know if FASC had tried to sell him the KDS6000, and if so, why hadn't he bought it.
He didn't answer my question, but did say he was satisfied with what the KDS can do for them at this time, and as their needs progress they can either add more of the basic KDS or go with a larger model.
Sure wish Cal et al would answer e-mails like he did.
Does anyone know the share structure of ALMI?
Charlie
"...the KDS is a little small"
Wonder why they weren't talked into buying the KDS6000? It would have been nice to see if all the engineering changes and larger size work. Maybe the funding wasn't there at the time, but will be when they decide to order another.
One can always hope, right?
Charlie
