Is it too early to start the countdown?
Not for FASC, but planning must begin now if we want TR to get post 50,000.
In remembering how Atlas Mining went over $1/sh employing the KDS, while FASC wallowed in the mud, perhaps the same could happen with CNG/CMC.
Fidelity doesn't recognize the symbol, so do you have to use a Canadian broker?
Sam, time to load up!
Touchscreen: What broker did you buy through? <eom>
Well I did my DD for the day, have YOU done yours?
If increased sales happen as hoped I pray that HQ already has plans to ramp up production with other MM-type manufacturer's so that the KDS doesn't become "back ordered".
Net-Man: Certain people wonder where some of the profits have gone this year, but what they don't realize is that besides paying down the debt to MM they also had to spend a lot of energy and money getting the KDS CE ready.
You don't get very far in this world without certain letters attached to your product.
Cheers, Charlie
Another long time member just updated his share count from 2.1 million to 3.3! BTW, we now have 3 tied for first with 5.5M.
Anyone else been buying on the sly and want to update his or her number? (email cwhudson@yahoo.com with FASC in the subject line)
Cheers, Charlie
By the numbers (unofficial)...
63,705,927 shares owned by this board's members (1.5M average)
13,500,000 shares owned by Brian and Cal's estate
----------
77,205,927 TOTAL
Equals almost 40% of the 200 million shares A/O.
Cheers and Happy Holidays, Charlie
cpac: I've been here longer than most and have a lot invested here, and I share a lot of your concerns. I just don't voice them repeatedly because I can also see the other side of the coin, so to speak.
Happy hour approaches (or used to before they banned it in Massachusetts) so join me in a cocktail of your choosing and relax. I know what Sam and I will be having.
Cheers, Charlie
Sam: You said that your sell was for tax purposes, but it's only going to get you about $350. What's up?
Someone just stole a bundle...and I think it was the fisherman.
Guess it'll take a million or two to move the ask.
Sam: Maybe you could bribe...I mean entice...the members of the Reno city council to buy 100K shares each by promising to stay away from the podium for one month.
TR: lol - that is so unlike you...hitting the spiked eggnog a little early?
Sam: I think this installation St-Malo referred to is the Quebec machine that's been mentioned on this board the last few weeks, and confirmed by HQ I believe.
TR: I see that this is the 3rd annual one, so since we didn't attend the first two this 3rd one damn well better be a charm!
I would expect St-Malo and/or other prospective pellet operators to attend.
They didn't attend Globe 2014 this year because they didn't think it would be worth the cost, based on previous conferences they were at, but they must start going to ones like this. I'm sure St-Malo would put them up at his house if money is really that tight.
Charlie
Sam: Not sure about the FASC logo on home page but the sludge trying info was there before.
Sam: Please provide link as I'm not seeing what you're describing. thanks.
TR or NM: If you were the CMC would you get into bed with a pinkie like FASC, or do you think they will require HQ to become compliant before proceeding? Maybe you could ask about that during your next CC.
Charlie
Very interesting reading today. Can zeolite save the day like it couldn't before?
This possible revenue stream could be a game changer for FASC. A steady cash flow while the sales of the KDS slowly percolate throughout the world.
Tempted to take the $23/share dividend I got from a mutual fund on Friday and buy more.
I'm surprised there haven't been many responses - is the board that shriveled...like many of us have become waiting?
Maybe I should blast out a few of these links via my email list. It's been a while since there was anything worth bothering people about.
Charlie
Net-Man: I vaguely remembered zeolite from FASC's ancient pass so I googled "zeolite KDS Micronex" and this was the first hit:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/first-american-scientific-corp-otcbbfasc-announces-completion-of-construction-of-its-zeolite-processing-facility-in-princeton-bc-75294752.html
Let's hope this little adventure comes to fruition and we see a similar PR next spring.
Thanks for the information.
Charlie
Net-Man: Excellent reporting and thank you for not requiring one of us to confirm before mentioning it. Personally that 'tease' was driving me crazy.
Looking forward to tomorrow's updates.
Cheers, Charlie
SS: Oops, correct. Wishful (and expected) thinking on my part.
Dave: Obit edit suggestion: "...and has been especially involved in a Canadian, alternative energy, developmental company (FASC - OTCBB) for many years"
Rest easy Dave.
Cheers, Charlie
Sleepin: They listened! I sent a bunch of corrections from the original page to my contact who forwarded then on to the web designer who did a good job rewriting it.
Dave: That's such a touching and selfless offer she's making, and it comes at a time of year where it seems to fit perfectly into the spirit of Giving.
You're lucky to have her, and if there is a supreme entity she should be rewarded well, although she's obviously doing it out of altruism.
Cheers, Charlie
Net-Man: From my last email from him:
In my view the company needs to have a handful of machines moving around among prospective clients around the world. And of course at the same time develop process lines for specific feedstocks. This is something we can do.
I will contact them soon.
Charlie
With so many messages over the past two days one might think there was actually something new happening. Instead it's the SOSO.
Net-Man: I wrote to Adam on Saturday regarding facebook. I was told by one of my contacts (!) that facebook was not being updated because Adam did not have the password (Cal created the account). I suggested he contact facebook to get that resolved, and then to post something - anything - to let those 2500+ people who 'like' FASC know that the page is active. I know I get a message either by text or email whenever the page is updated, so maybe one of those thousands would tell their friends, and they would tell their friends...
We all know how exponentiation works.
My email to B&A regarding a possible JV or partnership with Technica Bokstein was never acknowledged.
Charlie
TKL: That was the only viable hit I got on my searches too, but will it be enough to get Net-Man to spill the beans?
James: Thank you and right back at you. Glad to see that you're still lurking out there. Can I take this time to ask you what the "fwh" means in your alias?
BTW, included on a return email from CBE was a link to a post on this board. I think when I first contacted him I told him about iHub and gave him my alias, but I find it interesting that he might be monitoring our little group.
Gobble! Gobble!
Cheers, Charlie
TKL: Everybody knows that...except me! Now let's put on our collective search hats and find that French company so NM can spill the beans once he has a 2nd verification.
Both those pictures are on the facebook page also, but it would be nice to hear more. And then there are a bunch of pictures from Iowa too. So many questions, so few answers.
TR: Emailed HQ this morning re JV. <eom>
JV definitely sounds like the way to go. I will email the concerned parties to try to get the ball rolling.
Thanks for the input guys.
Charlie
Updates on CBE and Bokstein:
Well, to my surprise they both responded, and quickly too.
CBE: The good news is that FASCM has (finally) been very supportive and communicative...as they should. Don't know why that was such an issue initially. CBE has taken a Thai client to the plant in Kluang for a look-see and some testing. The only bad news is that he doesn't expect a swift decision.
Bokstein: The good news they still believe in the KDS. Sorry, that's it. The bad news is that the "sector" has not recovered from the war last spring. A potential sale to an electric company didn't happen because of it. They need a machine locally so they can process client's wastes because government regulations really restrict importing or exporting them out of the country. He feels that the KDS is priced too high compared to competitors, who also will give them a machine to use on a trial basis.
Having said that, he might be able to work something out with a collaborative effort. It sounds like there are lots of potential clients he knows who are interested, he just needs a machine.
He's looking for serious suggestions to resolve this dilemma.
Charlie
Hey Sleepin, were you aka Junky on the Allstocks board back in 2007? Was just reading some of the posts and they had your style.
Charlie
TR: Just sent emails to CBE and Bokstein. Neither person responded to my last attempt, so don't expect anything.
Charlie
Fjorge: Yes. we're well aware of that article and St-Malo (the poster) visits this board periodically with his updates. Currently he is finalizing the financing for his project (3 KDS), but while he waits he is being instrumental in spreading the word about the KDS in Quebec. In fact I believe two machines in the area were the result of his efforts, to a degree.
Charlie
lol! Me too! <eom>
