I see OL consistently on page one of google in one of the first 5 spots when searching for "leggings" but I have yet to see WOL on the first page.
What key word(s) are you searching?
That's great!!! lol
Is "pennyland" really out out of the question? I don't think so.
A little bit of luck can't hurt, thanks.
I am confident in the direction of Bravada. I see a growing company who is progressing and learning from past mistakes towards something which I believe, will be a great company, a profitable company and a solid investment.
There have been mistakes made and there will continue to be mistakes made but I believe that Bravada is MAKING PROGRESS. If you cannot stomach the past mistakes or future mistakes then you should not be here as this is a huge risk but the reward is worth the risk, in my opinion.
There are definitely a number of issues that should be corrected by Bravada but because I see PROGRESS, I have no doubt that over time these will be set straight.
If we stop seeing PROGRESS then I will concerned.
Great, thank you!! Now we have something concrete to discuss.
Opening of a 3rd store
Elite Line
Baseless PRs
Continueing to increase sales projections
Did I list these correctly?
Here is previous post of mine:
So which is it? Do items expire off of a credit report or not?
I wrote:
I agree, financials do matter.
Fom a post of mine earlier today:
We definitely do have some important unanswered questions here but those questionable items do not define the company. There are other factors to take into consideration when evaluating a growth company as a whole.
From a post of mine earlier today:
I see the stock price and it's disappointing. I just don't see the conspiracy everyone seems to think that there is here.
From a post of mine earlier today:
It's just not accurate to say that Bravada always misses/missed the mark. Look at the PRs over the last 12 months and I think you will be pleasantly surprised, as I was, as to how many have come to fruition versus the ugly picture of failure that is being painted on this board. Not everything PR’d has come to fruition but a lot has.
I have reviewed a fair amount of the history here with respect to company releases. At what point in a company’s history can you stop looking for those mistakes that are growing smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror as the company moves forward and is progressing?
Is it really still relevant that prior to the company selling leggings there were the beginnings of a reality show that didn't work out? I don't that's relevant here anymore if you consider the current direction. Maybe if I was here as those mistakes were being made I would feel differently.
I'm okay with mistakes being made as long as they are learned from. To me it looks like they are learning from their mistakes.
The group of cynicals is growing you say. Is the group of supporters growing?
There is some mystery surrounding the stock price but again, that is not the only thing that should be considered when investing in the future.
We all have our own levels of risk we are willing to stomach.

Interesting day we had here.
Some of these discussions remind me of when I was married. No matter what I accomplished, she could always recall and bring up, at any moment’s notice, those few things that didn't go as planned and throw that in my face.
Business and life are both a succession of accomplishments and failures but it takes a certain type of individual to see both and recognize "progress".
We have a company here that IS progressing in all aspects of it's business.
It's just not accurate to say that Bravada always misses/missed the mark. I am looking for Progress when investing my money, if I find a company that is perfect, it’s already too late.
Good luck to all
Whether he placed that store there intentionally or not doesn't matter at this point, I guess. Maybe it was luck, maybe it was research. What matters is that it's there.
I tried to find the Lulu store on google maps and bing maps and couldn't but since the Lulu website store locator says it's there, then it must be there. Those mapping websites are not updated very often anyway.
Having a dog is like having a child, just not illegal to leave her home alone all day while I go to work.
I agree, the B&M stores do/could help drive online sales. Seeing that one of them is really close to a Lulu store shows me that the CEO must have done some research to decide to place at WL store there.
Single and alone with a cat....lol
I'm single and home alone with my dog
Since your're here on this lovely Saturday evening. What do you think of the store's locations?
I find them both to be in very good shopping areas.
A few cents is not a bid deal hence the "", these financials are just a guide anyway.
TG, if that offended you I apoligize. I'm not here to pick any fights.
That's a lot of information. You must really believe in this company.
Too bad I can't just take your word for it, no offense. I'm just the kinda guy that has to do the research for himself.
There is actually another lululemon store within 2 miles of that one.
Looks like these World of Leggings locations were put in great shopping areas!
Thanks. That's great!
Who's right down the street from each other?
I agree, financials definitely do tell a story, but not the whole story, they are just one piece of the puzzle. Especially at the current stage of the company.
I am looking to invest in the future here and one piece of the puzzle is definitely not enough for me to make a decision.
Right now I view the financials as a "guide" because they are not completely clean therefore you have to take into account all sources available when researching.
If the company is making progress and moving forward, the stock price will catch up eventually.
Right now I am looking for "real progress".
I love to see no dilution in 7 months or so, that says a whole lot in itself about the current financial strength of the company.
You definetly do have a strong opinion about the company, thank you for sharing.
I plan on looking at all those things you mentioned.
If progress is being made then it's just a matter of time before a lot of these items get addressed/corrected.
That's what I want to see "real progress". Is Bravada making "real progress"?
Is that even possible, to listen to the CC recording prior to the last one? I called the number and only the Q1 2012 CC recording was available from April of this year.
What I have learned over the years is that folk, like ourselves, looking in from the outside cannot even begin to understand what the company may be going through.
I will take your advice though and look at a good amount of the history here and see what it says.
If the company is making progress though, and it looks like they are, the past will not equal the future. Maybe they have made some mistakes, maybe not, but again, if progress is being made we may have a good thing here.
I plan on spending a good amount of time over the next week or so doing some research to try to understand what the story here is.
Looks like there was about a 90k swing in net income from Q4 2011 to Q1 2012 leaving them with some cash in the bank at the end of Q1 2012.
I wonder what the swing will be from Q1 to Q2 2012. Another 90k? Very possible the way they seem to be growing.
Cash = Options
Thanks, I will have to do that.
This company does quarterly CCs and hasn't missed a quarter, at least in the last 5 quarters, I haven't looked back any further.
Files quarterly financials (I see that they are not perfect)
Has an ungagged TA.
Uses PRs to update everyone on progress.
Hasn't diluted in around 7 months.
Seems to be cash flow positive.
What's with all the negativity here?
Great! I did some web searches and could not find anything.
Seems like you had better luck.
I was searching tweets and noticed one from 6 days ago saying something about a photo shoot in front of the World of Leggings on Robertson.
Does anyone know anything about that?
Thank you for the information, I appreciate it.
Sounds like if you sell a stock out of your personal inventory, someone, whether it's an MM or a private buyer, is buying the stock from you to put into their inventory.
Where do sold shares go if nobody is buying and vise versa? Honest question.
That's one option, a buy back, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon.
While a buy back will certainly help with the PPS, I would rather they expand. Expanding will further strengthen the company financially as right now it feels, at least to me, that if something majorly negative happens, they will not have the strength to recover.
If they announce that a franchisee has agreed to open 5 to 10 stores over the next 6 months, that would also help the PPS and strengthen the company. Two birds with one stone!
Does anyone know how many shareholders the company has? I believe it's around 300 or so per the last Q report.
How many regular posters do we have here? 10 to 20 maybe?
The point I'm trying to make here is that any 1 person here that posts and has shares does not speak for any majority of shareholders.
Soooo do your own research before making a buy/sell decision.
