We have a kicker whose co-pilot is God. Ain't no mountain higher my brother.
At least 1 kicker is kicking a 70-yarder this year. Decent argument to be made that Aubrey is the best kicker in the NFL, and may be the one end up doing it first.
Oh boy. Spoke too soon. Back from the dead!
I'm of the opinion that Deion is a charlatan. I think he and McCarthy will be looking for jobs sooner than later.
Colorado is going to quit Deion like you've quit the Cowboys and $ASKH. It ends in tears for Prime Time.
Does Mike McCarthy have a job after halftime?
There's a glitch in your matrix. Perhaps you guys over-corrected to the downside?
Beat a team that went 11-5 last year, made no attempt to win their final game, and was a 1st round exit. But a road win is a road win.
That's what that officer that detained Cheetah is saying. Commoners shouldn't mess w/ da rich folk. It only ends in tears.
Dakota Rayne Prescott signs 4 yr, $240M deal. Absurd amount guaranteed, too. Lol. To add to the craziness this morning, Tyreek got detained 1 block from Hard Rock this morning and was cuffed for a time, before ultimately being cited and released
Lolz!!!!!!
Breaking through the resistance at $0.09 is bullish no matter if the share price holds.
Oh Jerry, always paying them a year too late. Costs the team more $$$ and cap flexibility.
Look at 'em now. Highest cap hit in NFL history.
Barring a last minute extension, Dak Prescott will enter the 2024 season with a $55.1M cap hit, the largest in NFL history. It represents 21.6% of the league salary cap, also an all-time high.

Every time you post about the Cowboys, the share price goes up.
It'll let some of the family owners (Rooneys, Halas/McCaskeys, etc.) cash out without selling the teams. They'll have an infusion of cash so the new uber-wealthy owners can't talk down to them anymore. Plus, it'll allow the uber-wealthy sell their positions at an increasing value some day if they so choose.
Sources: NFL owners to approve private equity investment
Dump incoming...
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41013650/nfl-owners-approve-private-equity-investment
"EAGAN, Minn. -- NFL owners are expected to vote to change the league's ownership structure Tuesday, allowing private equity firms to purchase limited stakes in NFL teams, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and multiple reports.
The owners flew to Minnesota for a special session called by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, where they are expected to approve allowing the sale of up to 10% of a stake in a franchise to a select number of private equity firms the league has vetted at over the past few months, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and multiple reports.
A move to allow private equity firms to invest as limited partners could free up cash for owners to pursue projects such as stadium renovations and would represent a large shift in how the league has historically operated, with the majority of franchises traditionally run as family businesses with single-family ownership."
I think your clock is broken.
Trey Lance Truthers have been called out.
Ok everyone who wanted to start Trey Lance over Dak Prescott has to delete their account now

That was a major portfolio adjustment for me. Nothing to see here.
Deng just hit me with a Chinese proverb: Good food is never too late! Hehe.
那就相信他!中国有句谚语:好饭不怕晚回!呵呵😄

We're back to openly throwing King Richard under the bus and his lack of movement on the financing front. Given the history here, it's hard to fault Deng on this one.
您了解马克吗?就是ASKH的皇帝!

I hear there is good food cookin' around the pond firepit in the Shanxi province. We'll see if the website announces progress on the project tonight. It won't move the stock price but if the $$$ does come in...

Da Bears cost $100. For a respectable Super Bowl winning team, it costs $2,500.

Oh I hear ya but those in the centibillionaire club don't have $10B in cash lying around. Vast majority of their wealth is tied up in stock. The NFL doesn't take checks. Only "cash money homies" as Mr. Randy Moss would say. Only a fraction (~$1.25B) of purchase price is allowed to be financed. Elon tanked Tesla stock when he sold shares to buy Twitter, and then had to sell some more to keep Twitter liquid.
This is why the NFL is going to open it up to Private Equity. They'll gladly write that quarter-billion check for passive ownership. But we ain't there yet.
Play the hypothetical game but the math is still the math. Big peckers are a problem, too. Most mega-billionaires don't play nice together.

No one wants to buy that franchise.
Funny story. Trump had to a chance to buy Dem Boyz for $50M. He said the price was too high and the next loser that buys will overpay. He was kind of right. Next guy (you know who) that bought Dem Boyz ($65M) did become a loser but not before 3 SBs, with the nice added perk of becoming the most valuable sports franchise in the world.
Congratulations! Dem Boys finally did it!!
Cowboys lead NFL franchises (1st one) at $10.32B valuation, per Sportico

Any news today or just some excited retail buyers in the neighborhood?
I'm all about happy endings!

Based on that "2 days" tweet from Deng, and not to mention a decade of inactivity, odds of Richards delivering have to be very skeptically... very skeptically.

Deng's had a consistent story. It fits.
See Puff's most recent post ("technical services... (via)... Huazhu", followed by Deng's latest reply (in business 10+ years):
Now, will someone give him $100M? That's the gamble. But King Mark & Kiwi Captain America have apparently promised to do so.

资本进入会让我们的产业迅速扩大,并快速实现产业的战略布局,但在资本介入前,我们已经从事这个行业十几年了,合并的意义是扩大价值而不是起点。
— DunFornan (@dengfunan) August 6, 2024
For the record, Huazhu is a legitimate business. On page 58 of their business plan, they disclose their business license number (1), which can be verified on an official Chinese government website (2).
What does this mean for us, the stockholders of $ASKH? Well, that's the million-dollar question, isn't it?

You can tie a ribbon on your penis and pretend it won top prize, but without the trophy (actual cash money in the bank), it's just a questionable fashion statement.
Takes a while to wrangle up $$$.
Buying a house and securing financing takes at least two months. I have no idea how long it takes to gather $100M for a business venture — I'm sure most of us have never swam in that end of the pool. Maybe IR in a previous lifetime, pre-manscaping adventures. It's been nine months since Deng & company announced their $100M plan.
Deng suggests that King Mark and the Kiwi Captain America (Chris Evans) are dragging their feet ("proof of funds from USA investor" tweet). Given the company structure, he might have a solid argument.

What is Phosphogypsum?
Phosphogypsum is apparently all the rage in the industrial solid waste sector. But what is Phosphogypsum? ChatGPT is glad you asked. Phosphogypsum is a byproduct created during the production of phosphoric acid, which is commonly used in fertilizers. It contains some toxic elements like radium and heavy metals, making it challenging to manage. However, it also has potential for reuse in construction, agriculture, and other industries if treated properly.
Summary of the Article:
The party secretary of Jinning District in Kunming visited a company in Nanchang that specializes in turning phosphogypsum waste into useful products. They discussed how the company's methods could help Jinning District manage its own phosphogypsum waste, which is a big challenge due to the area's heavy phosphate mining and chemical industry activities. The visit ended with both sides agreeing to work together on a project to use 2 million tons of this waste in a more environmentally friendly way. This collaboration aims to boost both economic and ecological benefits for the region.
Posted on a Saturday night in the US. Sunday night in China. Allows for a 1 day lag IMO. We'll know something this time tomorrow.
Lots of red out there today. But not for NYCB. Must be opposite day.
