GERN - looking at AM buys, it might just do as you expect on Monday. The rush to the exits sub 9 appeared rather mild.
GERN at LOD ... again.
RIMM just took a nice dive.
Anyone else having a problem with Ameritrade access this morning?
The bu$$ was good to me today. And seemed to hold well during EOD selloff. Pure speculative play.
In and out of PFE multiple times today...nice 5 to 10 cent waves. Worries about Aleve are helping IMHO.
Been scalping PFE all morning with sucess....love a stock with this liquidity to play. But now its leveled at $25. Watching for another major move....up or down.
TASR appears capped this morning at or just below 27.50 as you expected. MMs doing their thing as you expected.
Just a reminder PLMO earnings after the bell.
Out PLMO at 44.80 for 1.20 long
Bought TASR in AM yesterday and sold at open of PM for a nice 70 cent scalp. May re-enter again lower. Lots of calls at 27.50 in jeapordy - MMs will be fighting to hold the line. The free IBD PR was fluff but seemed to work.
Managed an 80 cent scalp on TASR at the open of PM. May buy back later...it has since gapped down so will wait for a more advantageous re-entry. But it appears the 27.50 line may be a real problem for the MMs.
The MMs do what they do and rarely lose.....LOL.
But they may be fighting the tide tomorrow morning if this stock gaps as it has a habit of doing....with the shorts spooked just a tad by the IBD tidbit. I think the analyst said something about the potential international market is in the 'billions' - could catch someone's eye.
Ciao.
I thought it was a bit of a fluff piece too.....but found it interesting IBD is running it (tomorrow). The slant was international sales potential which is still largely untapped and the effectiveness of the weapon to drop a person. Hey you just never know. This is an emotional stock for so many. Lots of LOVE/HATE out there.
I enjoy your technical analysis...thanks.
A little TASR tidbit in IBD tomorrow - generally positive with spotlight on international demand.

Enjoy.
Generally positive article in tomorrow's IBD on TASR. Seems they see the international market as the next goldmine.

Also long PLMO here. Nice little ramp into close.
PLMO upgraded:
palmOne PLMO Caris & Company Above Average to Buy
RIMM is international news....made the MSNBC news summary sheet this morning. PLMO on sale at a nice discount in PM.
PLMO has a new CFO (see below). They must be confident about earnings to make an announcement like this at this time...or its another PR screw-up. Time will tell. Earnings Thursday.

PalmOne Names Brown New Finance Chief
Tuesday December 14, 4:53 pm ET
PalmOne Appoints Andrew Brown to Replace Judy Bruner As Chief Financial Officer
MILPITAS, Calif. (AP) -- PalmOne Inc. said Tuesday that it appointed Andrew J. Brown chief financial officer, replacing Judy Bruner.
Brown, 45, previously was finance chief at Legato Systems Inc., a software company acquired by EMC Corp. in 2003.
Bruner left palmOne to join SanDisk Corp. as executive vice president of administration and chief financial officer.
Shares were down 60 cents, or 1.35 percent, at $44 in after-hours trading. The stock ended the Nasdaq day up 10 cents at $44.60. SanDisk shares closed up 26 cents, or 1.2 percent, at $22.89.
Maven...I'm hoping you're right in this case.
Managed to excape PLMO at 46.25.....wild ride today.
Long PLMO - should benefit from the RIMM news and my guess a nice dip. Shorts had their way earlier with PLMO....but that now seems to be under control for the time being.
Watching it drop....awaiting entry point .... and found it! PLMO
Set OB on PLMO this AM. PLMO showing some weakness at this level.
Gee...no emotional attachment to RIMM...just a trading vehicle....and of late a good one.
RIMM OH Boy do I ever know the volatility of this one can kill...I'm very careful to enter only on a significant swoon down.
PLMO was a joy to trade today. Moneymaker for moi.
Kept my hands off GE but what a move for a big cap out of the gate.
RIMM - ten cent scalps were just fine! But so much patience is required.
More manipulation? RIMM
Had a buy in at 87.93 but now see more weakness too....I'll wait for open to see what the market thinks. RIMM
RIMM doing its normal PM up and down today. You haven't missed much.....except maybe that first SS.
Did you just short that 50,000 block - RIMM? LOL
Bopping RIMM at 83 would have worked this morning!
Re: ATBG and Broadband over Power Line (BPL) services. Careful here, the BPL systems currently deployed are subject to interference from other communications services even at very low power levels, and when the BPL system interferes with other radio services, it will be subject to shutdown. Attempts to remediate interference problems have not been successful in any of multiple test systems. Finally the cost of deploying BPL is 10X greater than alternative over the air services. Promoting BPL as the way to bring broadband service into every home is a deliberate and misguided distortion by the the power companies, FCC, and Bush.

Ameritrade DOWN.
STEM showing some movement.
OLTI...thanks. Seems to be drifting slowly higher again.
QLTI....going lower? Now 15.90. Where do you think it bottoms? TIA.
How did you know my last unemployment check arrived today?
