I like the LPG space. Good move There is money in it.let's see how they finance these ships.
Drys enters gas carrier market
I noticed there's not as many shares blocking at the ask too.
Something to note: Kalani Investments has not filed an "over 5% owner form". Meaning they have already sold the majority if those 32 million to other investors or in to the general market. Note also that no new owners from those 32 million shares have filed an over 5% owner form either.
It will be a Happy New Year for DRYS!
I am in the same camp.
Nope.
I agree .
And what multiple do you give to that net value?
Page s18 clearly states at $3.51 is an assumed price and assumed shares at that price. The only numbers we know for sure is on the first page, which states "106,733 shares will be issued on December 27 @ $3.51". IMO

And no filing that they own a significant amount. Here's your sign.
Think about it. If Kalani owned 32.5 million shares, there would have been a filing stating his majority ownership (just like Morgan Stanley filed when they owned 6.7%). But MS no longer owns 6.7, because that was filed when the 0S was 1.3 million shares. Now over 33 million.
They don't own 32.5 million. Those shares were dumped upon us retail investors for the $100 million that went into DRYS bank account. Read the PR and filings for verification.
Nice article. Thanks.
That article is outdated. The dilution already happened and it only took 32 million, not 72 million.
Anyhow, what you said made no sense.
Check investopedia and Investor Business Daily, then you can come back and apologize.
Obviously you don't know. A cup and handle pattern is formed at a stock's high. Look up the definition.
Read the latest PR. It tells you exactly what I'm telling you.
They have already been sold in to the market. That's why the share count went up to 33 million shares OS instead if 1 million a few weeks ago. That's how DRYS received $100 million.
No. Not until 1q report.
Yes, that is still a low float that can move quick.
So an extra 28 million at, let's say $6 average per share, equates to over $168 million. Who got that money? If DRYS did, it would leave DRYS debt-free.
Nice catch
It actually goes back 3 years.
He changes his bottom daily.
We need these guys later to chase the price higher when it runs. They would rather pay more later than buy cheaper now.
All it will take is one big lender agreeing to reduce their debt by half(1 small lender has already done it.). Kaboom. If it happens after hours......, shorts will be scrambling to get out and those waiting for lower prices will both be fighting for shares at higher prices.
With 96 million traded in a 5 day window on a 1 million A/S stock, I'd say dilution is done. Add that just weeks ago it traded less than 200,000 daily (now almost 20 million daily).
It would be in the best interest of the company to get the price back up to the $30 level mentioned in the offering.
The float is not $100 million.
A refinancing agreement will drive this north. Could happen any day.
I was here since the beginning of this board. Yes, Dr Myke, the pot-smoking Canadian phychiatrist, commited suicide. Because of this stock, others have had divorces, lost their homes, etc. It is a fact.
Don't get too excited. It was just me buying $500 worth as a gamble.
Pop: I didn't mention shorting shares at .0001 or shorting within the last year.
What happens to the shorted shares?
Wilma, there many many R/M candidates out there. I don't know why NEOM would have an advantage over the others.
Stocks can trade dark for YEARS
So sorry to see him go. He did SO much for NEOM. What a joke. He helped bleed the company for 9 years. Advertised his resume as a turnaround specialist.
Way undervalued here. Time to announce a deal.
