whoa whoa whoa, where did opioid pills come from??
Humans aren't even smart enough to distinguish real from fake IDs and yet alcohol is served nationwide.. I think your argument is lacking.
People are much more likely to use fake IDs than fake silicone fingers with sophisticated mimicry of the vein pattern of a legal aged person who also coincidentally happens to a registered user of an AGM machine.
You can always just pay a homeless person to get it for you.
I think you need a MUCH better angle.
A 3D printed finger!!! Hysterical!!! I want one!
Where can I find an AGM user that will let me replicate their finger?
Wait wait wait, guys guys guys, what is the biometric industry going to do about all these 3D printed body parts being used to dupe machines!?!?!
HAHAHAHAHA
If that's the best argument you can conceive against these machines, you are on the WRONG side of the equation.
Google street picture (Jan 2019) view shows it's an office space for lease. Not exactly a PO box facility. Pretty nice building, too.

Photo ID verification is easily defeated - I used to have a fake in HS - what's your point? There's no reason to think people dragging silicone hands to beer vending machines inside sports venues is going to be a problem for this technology.
The better technology is the one people who can legally drink beer know how to use- crypto is for teenagers, biometric is for adults.
Having a barcode on a smartphone isn't foolproof id-verification either..
Too bad you need a smartphone to use it. That is if your battery has power.
If you compare AGM's age-verification vs Civic's crypto-based solution, AGM is much more user friendly for the majority of people. There's less steps to get to your beer, you don't need a smartphone, there's more familiar technology to interact with, and it requires less private personal information.
No it isn't - Civic's crypto-backed beer vending machine is $15k

It's only a matter of moments before AGM gets a deal.
Well judging by the curing room I saw in le chiffres photos there's plenty of fresh inventory.
ridiculous.

The High Desert Retreat is a monthly health and wellness retreat that takes place in the historic town of Nipton, California. Also known as "Pot Town, USA" for its cannabis friendly status, Nipton is located in the middle of the magical Mojave Desert. Our motto is "disconnect to reconnect" and Nipton is the perfect place to do just that. Whether you stay in the historic hotel or one of our remodeled vintage spartans, eco-cabins, furnished tipis or you decide to bring your own tent, all of the accommodations are detached from wifi/televisions and great for realigning your circadian rhythm.
$118 per person
Nipton is going to be the site of some kind of Coachella-style 420 festival every year... could get huge.. the instagram makes the place look pretty great.. whoever is taking the pictures has talent
If they are growing and processing cannabis as contractors for an AZ licensed dispensary, what makes you think they cannot create edibles on behalf of that same company? If the dispensary is licensed to create edibles, then they can contract AG to do so on their behalf. The dispensaries stuff it in an AGM and AG gets another cut of the profits in addition to their fee.
I checked the properties of the first image in your list, it is legit.

Dude edibles are the highest margin product you can make in the cannabiz. It's near a 90% profit margin if you use weed too old or shwaggy to sell.
AG's business strategy is centered around edible or similar production - that's kind of the reason vending machines are being used and why the AZ op has a huge kitchen attached to it. You can stock vending machines with edibles, vacuum sealed, and they will last months in the machine, unlike flower.
Fresh flower goes on the shelf for sale, unsold (e.g. old) stuff goes into edibles. Do you even know the cannabis industry?
Well using a breathalyzer is ridiculous. I don't expect any product using that to succeed. It may be possible AGM could measure the dilation of the finger blood vessels that occurs with drinking when they conduct the finger scan.

Besides that, if it is installed in a bar, I think the bar owners should be responsible for disallowing people to use the vending machines if they are too drunk. However, it would be pretty easy to use a phone app to shut down the vending machine remotely.
The real money will still be sports venues, however, and there I think there is enough money to be made to attract a solution.
Tracking user consumption is already built into the cloud management platform. That other guy was talking about a really specific case where if someone had been cut-off by the bartender, they could go up to the vending machine and get a beer. He wanted to know how the kiosk could prevent that - my guess is actually the bartender would see the guy doing it and maybe close off his account through software or just tell him he couldn't use the vending machine.
Pretty grey area there, but I guess a solution would be not to place the vending machine in a bar. I also think that a bartender would be upset at lost tips to the machine, so it's unlikely any bar would accept it.
You could also implement a sobriety test in the touchscreen interface pretty easily. For example, require the users to remember 4 numbers or something an inebriated person would have difficulty performing.
Either way, that doesn't restrict them from vending cannabis products.
I could see the vending machine being popular at sporting events.
That post is ridiculous. Those vein readers are $99, it just shines a light on your finger and takes a reading. It doesn't classify pinky, thumb, toe, whatever. Do some research.
My guess is the guys who wrote the software didn't actually try using the machine.
Are you sure you're not talking about Tesla?
I see 6 active AGM vending machines now.
I wonder if any deals came out of the expo.
I just downloaded the AGM GO app and I see 1 vending machine in NY, 1 in Chico CA, 2 in Arizona, 2 in Las Vegas.
The SkyMap map shows 4. 1 in NY, 1 in AZ, 1 in LV, 1 in CA
Any stock can double.
He must have used his right index finger to scan when he registered, so he didn't have to reach across his body..it's a much more natural way to use the interface. Keep in mind the finger scanner doesn't know if you used the hand the vending machine instructed you to use.
The video clearly states that the platform can restrict a user's consumption.
FYI the only other competitor in this space during the convention is a well-known crypto company, Civic. The problem for Civic is the purchasers in this industry are not 20-30 years old.
Shows that AG is competing in the right space, however:

Looks like its a Beer and CBD vending machine per their Exhibitor Profile.
After checking out many of the other exhibitors, they appear to be alone in offering a product like this.
There are some big names in the convention, they got a pretty good location too. Glad to see they are pursuing this seriously.
Why should I tell you? You think they paid the money to keep this company active when all the others in the same position (Paragon, Teuff) have delisted just for giggles?
..so be patient?
Greece just issued a new 5-year bond. First since the bailout ended. Heavily oversubscribed at a relatively low interest rate. Favorable credit terms, debt restructuring, write-offs, refinancing, loans etc etc are coming to Greeks shipping companies. The Greeks think resurrecting their shipping industry is essential to their future economic prosperity.
