This is what I was thinking of.
"And the Court had used the terms
4 undue influence, death threat, or death grip. And our
5 complaint alleges in great detail allegations showing
6 coercion, and I’m not going to repeat those because
7 they’re under seal, but they are detailed and I think
8 quite compelling."
Appropriate question.
But I would answer with a question....was not at least one claim by the plaintiff originally under seal?
Almost like the guy that is touted here as having written "the plan" isn't necessarily on the same page as the President....imagine that.
But it's already obvious to anyone with a brain.
Correct, the one that's no longer there.
Trial is finally forced by a judge that appears sympathetic to the robbery while forcing discovery of thousands of documents...so the new story line is settlement?
Lolololol
I hate that with the general lack of understanding where this is likely headed, you might be correct.
And now we await the 11k document hitting the mainstream laying it all out for everyone to see.
It will be part of the reasoning in restructuring the entire financial system.
If the company is made whole, what does that do for you as a shareholder?
It's really that simple. The company was injured by the actions of the government and thus shareholders indirectly.
So if the company is made whole, who indirectly is made whole also?
Lolololol!
His lawsuit just made a exceptionally well reasoned and cited argument that is counter to your position...
But he is staggeringly misinformed?
Lololololol!
I would think that the Hobbs Act would apply to the real quid pro quo of Corker and Bank of America.

Moreover, this is not a case where granting
meaningful relief would require wreaking havoc on an
otherwise well-functioning regulatory scheme, or vacating an agency action that would be statutorily
proper in the ordinary course. All it would entail is
making several accounting adjustments on the books
of the companies and Treasury. Vacatur of unlawful
agency action is a common remedy under the Administrative Procedure Act, see 5 U.S.C. § 706(2), and in
this case that remedy is warranted. This Court should
grant the petition and give petitioners the meaningful
relief they seek.
Like I said, it will take intelligence to understand.
Thank you for your thoughts...
Correct that he wants to release the GSE's and he wanted to have it done already. Go back to the early Mnuchin comments of when they wanted to tackle housing.
As far as his way, his way is release. Using the courts is actually brilliant because it will give shareholders a win and fake news has zero ground to bash him for "hedge fund" giveaway.
He's smarter than many realize. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Think they won't use the court from the vantage point that if they lose, it solidifies precedent for the future or ultimately provides the outcome desired?
https://lawandcrime.com/legal-analysis/no-government-official-is-above-the-law-judge-rules-president-cant-block-people-on-twitter/
Many reported this as a loss. But was it? What did they lose, the ability to block people from commenting? Lol..
Bigger picture, what was twitter just declared?
“We hold that portions of the @realDonaldTrump account — the ‘interactive space’ where Twitter users may directly engage with the content of the President’s tweets — are properly analyzed under the ‘public forum’ doctrines set forth by the Supreme Court, that such space is a designated public forum, and that the blocking of the plaintiffs based on their political speech constitutes viewpoint discrimination that violates the First Amendment.”
So it and other platforms like it are now private entities with a "public forum"... Yes? Is a public forum anything like a public sidewalk?
So what happens when in short order, twitter has its brains sued out because of infringement upon free speech by it's manipulation of people's accounts, rather by shadow banning, algorithms, or deciding what is or what is not within their platform "acceptable speech" by way of Marsh vs Alabama?
Public sidewalk in a privately owned town...
"Constitutional protections of free speech under First and Fourteenth Amendments still applicable within the confines of a town owned by a private entity."
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marsh_v._Alabama
Not every loss is a loss, but it takes intelligence to see it.
We're a constitutional agency... no we aren't...wait, we are. Lol..
For instance, in the Enterprises’ 2019 annual Dodd-Frank Act Stress Test (DFAST), which is designed to determine whether they have the capital necessary to absorb losses resulting from adverse economic conditions. The DFAST modeled a scenario in which home prices decline by about 25 percent and commercial real estate prices fall by 35 percent. Under these conditions, the Enterprises forecasted combined total losses of $43.3 billion, which would wipe out their combined $11.2 billion in capital as of June 30, 2019.

At the end of September, the FHFA announced it would allow Fannie and Freddie to rebuild a portion of their capital reserves to a total of $45 billion combined.

Lot of colorful discussion of his response to Congress without discussing his words or in what exact manner they were inaccurate.
What exactly in his response do you think was false?
Seems like a lot of indictments happening in the financial industry here lately. Even an employee of the preferds friend, Moelis & Co. involved.

"ensuring a smooth transition to a new finance system"
Interesting.
I like to follow the replies to his post more...if didn't, I might miss some jewels like this. ;)

Agree. There are some that say how important housing is to the economy so they're invested, then think that something that has been screwed up so much and is so important can just be fixed with the flip of a switch not taking into consideration all the pitfalls that exist including what the judiciary system is doing.
He didn't create this mess but is working to correct it. That is more than any of the previous two administrations.
Now waiting for the clown responses...
Lol...
Should send him a scoop for kitty liter, be the most accurate scoop he had all year.
I care about winning this play. I bet on America and rule of law succeeding, so I care about the outcome.
But I think how we win is just as important. Many wanted the administration to stop the sweep on day 0 and reverse course. I do believe they could have done such. But I dont think the long term effects would have been the same as allowing this to finish to completion in the courts.
The administration has prevented the entities from going into receivership as was originally designed, and has set a course to make them more sound.
As the courts continue, I believe that the information that is necessary to uncover the fraud and unconstitutional actions will be revealed and we will not only win this case, but a precedent will be established to prevent this type of illegal piracy from occurring again.
There is benefit not just to these companies but to the nation for this to be revealed.
Yeah because logic is bonkers...lolol. The quick decisions by the courts have always been dismal.
I said I'm not interested in the quick decisions.
I'm interested in the courts that have performed discovery. If you think that the decision are 10 years out from now, I can't help ignorance.
Some courts have, but others are still in action.
I'm not interested in the quick decisions.
My interest lies in the courts that have drudged through the long and tedious process of discovery....justice is slow, but it grinds exceedingly fine.
I'm feeling fine....very fine.
I tend to assume that there is purpose when I see/hear something false repeated over and over by the media that has tasked themselves as being investigative journalists.
Either they are incapable of carrying out the duty of their employment, or they are purposefully repeating a false narrative.
I believe we could all name a couple in the later group that are quite infamous here carrying water for the TBTF banksters over and over.
So the likelihood that much of the profession is limited in character is not a huge leap to make, and actually grounded in an abundance of supporting evidence.
Lol, how long ago were most of the court cases filled?
When did the actions occur for which they were filed?
What action did the 5th en banc rule on?
If you cant discuss the past, you have no idea what is happening in the courts in the present or why...
Good post. Thanks for sharing!
Environmental concerns....Lololol!!!!

Part of how Wells Fargo bought off the Senate Banking Committee... who held a large stake in Wells Fargo at the time?
Berkshire Hathaway...
Then we get into all the corruption that has been reported since...are you sure you kids really want to go down this road? Lololol
I'll be your Huckleberry...
Oh and on the big heart of Buffett...the US government should look into the self reported tax evasion...because THAT is what it is.
https://americandigitalnews.com/index.php/2017/11/27/foundations-loopholes-tax-havens-oh-my/
Too bad his stake in Wells Fargo didn't work out better for him....they tried to take over the twins business by paying off Corker and others on the Senate Banking committee and getting the corrupt government to shut down the GSE's so that Wells Fargo who worked to position themselves would be ready to slip in the back door.
He has used government corruption through regulation to benefit his position in his railroad scheme by betting against the transcontinental pipeline. Any bets on who he backed politically and their stance on the pipeline?
He's corrupt and not needed or wanted here.
But thanks for giving away your position in BH!
Exactly.... but the simple minded or paid parrots like to repeat the narrative.
Lololol.... his "Giving" away money to select "nonprofits" is like the 3rd party give aways the government made from the Fannie and Freddy settlements...
Follow the money to the end, and you'll realize that neither was based in benevolence.
Let me help you friend. There's zero chance he wont be elected. I wont make this political, so I wont get into the specifics, but in relation to this stock, he will hold a second term.
When there is something found on him be sure and let me know. The swamp has been looking real hard ever since 2015 and 2020 is just around the corner....thus far after spending millions and millions and millions, they just keep uncovering themselves.
This stock isn't a bet...it's a given.
Much to be decided in what is or what is not an overpayment by the twins depending on what the final verdict is on Constitutional nature of the hold up.... I mean agreement by the Unconstitutional oversight agency... I mean between the FHFA and Treasury.
Some suggest a 10% over principal plus a fee for .gov backing....some suggest that if the accounting was fully evaluated, the forced borrowing would be over turned, and then some suggest that anything over the current allowed retaining funds belongs to the Treasury. All of this will be decided by the courts or an agreement made between the parties...I wont hold my breath for such.
So any number you see, you should evaluate how it was derived and by whom.
Lol..
Please do tell how you came to such conclusion.
Why do you feel the need to make false accusations here and especially about things that are not GSE related?
The Russia story was false.
And yes, he often tweets about items he believes to be important. He will tweet about the GSE'S to highlight their situation when the timing is right. And it wont be the position he voices when he does, it will be the effect that is important.
I expect to see one at some point my friend. The GSE's/Housing are an extremely important as the choir here already recognizes.
And his twitter account is where he speaks to the people.
I wasn't. It's at his directive that a plan to release has been worked on.
It's at his directive they sent him the plan and then at his directive he released it.
Housing is what percentage of the economy?
And your post archived for presentation as well.
