A couple of my friends, can not tell the difference in the new Assult. Fortunately I have been able to load up on the old product, which is sold at a discount price :)
Not at all! It is a slap in the face to us long term shareholders.
I have said it many times, I think dilution will continue in order to meet their rapids growth demands. I am okay when it is used for expansion, rather than MSLP going into greater debt on marketing efforts.
lol, since he probably works for a competitor that is losing market share, it would not surprise me if he owns some stock. He knows this stock is on the verge of making a big move.
Yes, lol :) dakotaben has some good posts, but his last one required a response. I enjoy your post Neuronal!
We have all read enough of Codie's post that we know he thrives on bad news for the Company. Codie has a clear agenda to make MSLP look bad. I do not respond to him, because he is totally irrelevant. Most likely he works for a competitor. He will continue to post because he knows new people constantly come to this Board to check out MSLP.
dakotaben, really? On the verge of nonexistence? MSLP is off the charts in revenue growth and now one of the top supplement companies. MSLP has significant potential to be one of the few BB stocks to make it on NASDAQ. I think that within the next 6 months, we are going to know MSLP's real potential. Over 5 cents is very achievable!
I do not see revenue growth or dilution slowing in the next year. Entry into Walmart and global expansion will keep revenues growing a significant pace. $45M to $50M next year is very realistic. And the Company to be valued between $60 and $75 million. Even with the projected positive cash flow, I will be surprised if they do not need to expand their operations' capabilities in order to meet the new growth. This investment will increase dilution.
I predict MSLP will trade over 6 cents next year. With any new positive news, it could go even higher.
Awesome post Odessa99.
Sorry, you will not see sub penny again. :)
I don't think it helps you to load up before the R/S. You will still own the same percentage of the Company. This is not a great strategy. So many people have been burned by R/S, that often the price drops. It would be best to load up once announced and after the price drops. I think there is a good chance that within two years we will see MSLP on a major exchange.
dakotaben, the blends are without a doubt superior to the numerous other products I have used. To think it is all marketing, is far from the truth.
Just curious, how is Jack3d not the competitor to Assault? Huts because it is more concentrated? I have not tried Jack3d. Does it have a different benefit or function?
I agree with your comment, and I stand corrected on the ingredients; but I do believe they have a very high quality blend, and it is also a blend that highly effective.
I think the gels are a great example of a product that is unique and huge market expansion potential. I find Combat's solubility is much better than the competition, and Assault is an awesome product. It seems like MP has been committed to introducing the highest quality products target to top athletes. You do not see low end products introduced. It is one of the only Companies that have products that are certified by NSF along with numerous clinical studies.
This commitment really helps the Companies reputation and carves is niche to athletes vs body builders. Yet it seems body builders use the products.
There is no question we will see a RS. Cory and Brad already said they want to get this on a big exchange. That will bring in new buying. To accomplish bringing it on to NASDAQ they will need to do a RS. If it is done when the stock is really strong it should be okay. I probably have a minority view on this topic.
There is no Dnizzle has good insight on the revenues online, but MusclePharm has big potential to expand globally. And they also have opportunity to move product in Walmart stores and C stores.
I also think MusclePharm has proven they can introduce superior products. These products can bring in new revenues. I like how MSLP is positioned for future growth. In 3 years MSLP can have $100 million in revenues. This is not wearing rose color glasses, it is a logical and very realistic calculation.
If MSLP can show some earnings, it could trade 3 - 5 cents this quarter. Awesome revenue growth just need a little love on the bottom line.
We need management to drive some earnings, if the spending spree continues we will be back at .006. Strong products, good brand, now we need smart financial management.
We can not have it both ways. Most of us this Board have been critical of MP spending beyond it's means. We need to begin to show earnings next year, and that means a reduction in expenses targeted to building the brand. My opinion anyway.
Happy New Year! Wishing you a happy, healthy and successful 2012!
Hi damondon,
Why do you worry about a reverse split? Usually a reverse split would be done to qualify it for NASDAQ. Though I must admit, I have seen reverse splits trade at the same as before the split in a matter of weeks.
Nice up move today. Hopefully will find support at a penny and make another run next week.
.015 by Friday? Go MSLP!
Before all of MusclePharm shirts would say (powered by TapouT). You don't see that anymore. Not sure why the agreement ended as they still do other promotions together like the racing boat they co-sponsored.
Think about it, if Musclepharm Sportwear, LLC was a subsidiary it would need to be disclosed for sure. We know it is a separate corporation. So they had to sell the rights. Once again I do not know the terms of the deal. I can't find anything in the documents.
I am more concerned about the management bonus contracts. That could result in major dilution, on top of the dilution to fund growth and working capital.
So no, Musclepharm Sportswear, LLC is not a subsidiary.
It is my understanding that MSLP sold the rights to their apparel to another company. This comes from a reliable source that knows the 3rd party. Not sure of the time length of the contract.
Codie, that article is weak and the response below is much stronger:
Dave Causey Wrote:
Point 1. This article slants toward the opinion that supplements are dangerous. “and in some cases may even cause harm” I agree, taking anything blindly can be harmful. However...
Point 2. The percentage of the US population that takes supplements is 50-70%. The percentage of the US population that takes pharmaceuticals is less than the health-nuts; it’s around 30-50%. The reported cases of “death” (not just having an adverse reaction) due to pharmaceuticals are in the hundreds of thousands, each year. The number of “deaths” due to supplements is typically zero. Do people have sometimes adverse effects from taking supplements, sure they do. But do they die from them? Typically not! C’mon people.
Point 3. Do supplements help the body? Yes and No. Synthetic (chemically produced) vitamins are low cost but have minimal bioavailability. Naturally sourced are higher cost but act as food so better absorption for the body. Here’s a rub, network marketing companies e.g. Mannatech, Juice Plus, USANA Health Sciences cost even more because they pay commissions to their independent distributors, but have some good products because the focus is to produce a higher quality product which is intended to enable the body utilize the nutrient value even more.
Point 4.Do we need to take supplements? My opinion is yes. Our fruit and vegetable food supply does not have the same nutritional content like it use to due to less organics in the soil due to corporate ag businesses that use added chemicals (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) minimal nutrients in order to grow produce as quick as possible, look as perfect as it can and have a longer shelf life. IT”S A BUSINESS and the purpose of a business is to MAKE MONEY! Now add the global produce that is picked green, shipped longer distances (versus the local farm to market time) and the consumer is eating perfect looking products that are lacking nutrition. Example, do a taste test with an out of the country tomato and one you’ve grown yourself that reached a vine ripened maturity.
Point 5. Do supplements work? I take supplements and I try to eat healthy, too. But what happened with me is I can’t drink regular coffee anymore. I get heartburn, that acidy stomach feeling and too much and I’m jittery or up all night. So I switched to a “Healthier” coffee that has a “Health Herb” in it and all I know is I’m not affected by the caffeine (no crash or jitters) and I don’t get heartburn. So yeah, supplements do work. Just like drugs do too, except I don’t expect to have a fatal reaction to my “healthier” coffee.
Any comments?
Awesome analysis oldengray! thanks.
You are right. That price is split adjusted. Sorry!
Intel traded below 2 cents.
Dakotaben, I am not sure if you are into fitness. I have tried most products on the market. MP has awesome products. Their gels, Assault and Combat I think are the best on the market. The brand name is still growing, but MP's products have a very good reputation. I just wish the Company was run in a way that shareholders would have that same impression of MP.
What they push is one thing, rankings are based on actual sales.
Codie, ranking are based on actual sales through the website. On this one you are wrong.
They no longer have a relationship with TapouT and sold the rights to MPSportswear. Not sure how long MPSportswear has the rights. By the way I may have the name wrong, but it has been posted earlier.
Okay, here we go, now 1,000,000,000 authorized. Just lost another 33% to dilution!
Thanks Tarkless! I will try one more time, and if no response, I too will file a complaint.
Tarkless, you ask the key question. I have tried many different ways to get the answer but have come up empty. If we can not get an answer, we may need to file a complaint with the SEC. It is irresponsible not to answer the simple question that can dramatically effect the stock.
I do agree that $50M is achievable. MSLP does not make money on their apparel. It my understanding they sold those rights.
