OT: Hi stuffit...thanks for asking...
A lot of places in Texas have suffered (and are still suffering) greatly...
But down here in the bayou...
I can report that our little corner of the planet has been spared any MAJOR flooding, hail or tornados.
We are mucking around in our mud boots, and it will be some time before the lawn gets mowed again because it is way too boggy for a mower. But all in all, we have personally been spared the worst of it.
My brothers and the kids, who live close to the DFW area have had some minor flooding and some power outages, but again, and I say this so thankfully, nothing major.
Hope all is well with you folks...

Economic Data Summary:
April Durable Orders -0.5% vs Briefing.com consensus of -0.6%; March was revised to 5.1% from 4.4%
April Durable Goods - Ex Transportation 0.5% vs Briefing.com consensus of 0.3%; March was revised to 0.6% from 0.4%
Excluding transportation, durable goods orders increased 0.5% in April after increasing an upwardly revised 0.6% (from 0.4%) in March. The consensus expected these orders to increase 0.3%.
Nearly all of the regional manufacturing surveys released by the Federal Reserve Banks showed that orders had contracted in April.
The slight upward trend in new orders excluding transportation was a nice positive surprise when viewed against the survey data.
March Case Schiller 20 City Index 5.0% vs Briefing.com consensus of -4.6%; February was 5.0%
March FHFA Housing Price Index 0.3% vs Briefing.com consensus of ; February was 0.7%
April New Home Sales 517K vs Briefing.com consensus of 510K; March was revised to 484K from 481K
May Consumer Confidence 95.4 vs Briefing.com consensus of 94.0; April was 95.2
Improvements in the employment situation, as shown by the 15-year low in the initial claims level, offset slightly higher gasoline prices and a volatile equity market.
The Present Situation Index increased to 108.1 in May from 105.1 in April. That was the first increase in three months.
S&P futures vs fair value: -5.50. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: -13.50.
Buyers have been a reluctant bunch this morning, which has left the S&P futures on the defensive.
The opening move, therefore, is expected to have a downward orientation.
Whether it gains any momentum could hinge on the movement of interest rates, which will be taking a cue from the New Home Sales and Consumer Confidence reports at the top of the hour and their potential implications for Fed policy.

Hi geopressure....I guess I don't understand why the government would want to keep oil prices down...
I do think they may decline from here, but I think it is supply/demand fundamentals that will account for it...
And just so you know...The reverse split for UCO was announced by ProShares at least as far back as the 1st of May...so it was not a surprise move by any means...
Pretty decent article here...
