zoombie,
If anyone would know details of precisely how mm's operate, it would be you.
So, do you qualify as an mm agent? Or merely an mm lobbyist?
Loyal
Bud,
What you said in conjunction with what Momo said in opposition to what Zoombie said all proves the obvious: Shorts working together can still play with this stock like a kid with a thermometer by taking it from freezer to stove and back again.
Otherwise, GRNH would have gone through the ionosphere long ago. It has all the earmarks and necessary ingredients to be a big time success story.
Loyal
Boy, between the goofballs who would rather pick up small profits through short term buying/selling sprees instead of holding for a huge payday, and the shorts who just refuse to let this thing go (likely being paid to keep it down), this stock continues to be a mystery.
I tend to think that's what probably caused the whales to migrate to safer waters elsewhere long ago.
Loyal
smokin',
I have to agree. And to summarize, if enough states climb aboard the wagon, it won't matter what Jeff Sessions says or thinks.
At least for a while this will have been the people's election, and The Donald will not stand in the way of that where mj is concerned.
And if the i.v.drip or the zoombie believe otherwise, they're talking through their bong.
Loyal
Yep. Here in pennyland I've found that rumors are a dime a dozen . . .
. . . and usually worth about that much.
Loyal
Granted. I did some research but found nothing that made me want to pull the trigger for the longest time. Most of what I picked up I got from the Guitarman over a lengthy period, and I didn't stay close enough to learn there might be an acquisition in the works.
Besides, rumors aren't worth much, even strong rumors that are put out as facts. Take Hillary, for example.
Anyway, I'll have to take a third look at this thing. The bottom line will be whether the idiots who've been constantly shorting the precious metals market can keep a lid on them. The value of silver itself has to increase for WRN to be what it wants to be.
Loyal
I thought maybe I had misstated that as soon as I sent it. Anyway, I never said it was a p & d, only that it seemed to resemble one.
Moreover, with hard silver still stuck in the mud, I think this is just a mini run that will run out of steam quickly.
Make a good buck on me if I'm wrong.
Loyal
P.S. - - - G-Man, what say you about this?
I think the r/s took the starch out of most all of us. I only pop back in once in a while to maybe help the next generation to refrain from making the same dumb mistake of investing here as I did.
Hope you're doing well elsewhere.
Loyal
stockaholic,
Very surprised to see a stock on the NYSE made to look like the victim of a p & d, but this one seems to, especially since silver itself is stuck in neutral.
Loyal
Toucan,
Just stopped back in for a brief visit. Yeah, the good ole days with Chris and then James. The wonderful website James was turning into a state of the art showpiece but couldn't 'just yet' give details of, but were going to revealed very soon.
So just what is POTN's business model now? Are they into marketing nano-do-dads?
Loyal
Just back here for a brief visit and wondering. Has Michael told more lies than Hillary? Or is it the other way around? I can't tell. Maybe they're tied for first.
Loyalhound
fwiw, Has anyone noticed the spring on those Bollies slowly winding tighter and tighter almost daily for the past four weeks?
If it suddenly uncoils . . . . . . .
Loyal
Huh. .07. That'll probably be it for the rest of the day. No pop. May as well shut 'er down till tomorrow. Good night everyone.
Loyal
I didn't consider Jeff Sessions and his anti-mj reputation a big deal before, but now I'm not so sure. If The Donald wants someone in his cabinet from Alabama, why doesn't he nominate Nick Saban?
Cripes Mariah. As far as mj is concerned I can almost hear the announcer now:
'Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please? Now playing left field . . . . Jeff . . . . Sessions.'
And everyone in the stadium holding mj stock boos loudly.
Oh, crap. Jeff Sessions. Jesus, not another road block.
Loyal
Bud,
I must have forgotten everything I ever knew about baseball. I'd like to agree with you and see this as being one pitch away from a grand slam, but right now it doesn't even look like the sacks are loaded. All I see is a bunch of mm's hogging first base, and that ain't the way the game is supposed to be played.
Loyal
While I'm by no means on stockzoombie's side, I do find the ebb and flow of GRNH tragically comical (or should I instead say comically tragic?).
Every time this thing begins to do what it should have been doing all along, here comes the short gang to chip away at gains and kick the box out from under it.
It became a classic short series feature long ago. Now each episode is just another re-run. Maybe next year they'll write a new script for it.
Loyal
Margin,
According to my eyes it finally did that late last week. And it's about time.
Bollies are tightening as well. Like to think they're coiling for a spring loaded run.
Let's roll.
Loyal
Thanx, zoombie, you're a man of great prophetic insight. We'll all take heed and be sure to sell our shares at the bell Monday morning.
Loyal
Bear,
Of course it is. New blood wants nothing to do with stagnation, and the controlling powers know this. So, they watch and wait. A few green teaser days, then we get knifed over and over. Wash, rinse, repeat.
But mm's don't give a hoot. Psychopaths only care about themselves and their agenda while the SEC turns a blind eye.
The only thing we can do is ride it out until the mj money becomes so big the mm's have to let go. It's the age of never ending manipulation.
But not to worry. Cool heads will prevail. The long and strong will survive. And thrive. GRNH is a good man, and you can't keep a good man down.
Loyal
I gotta agree with pumpnass and bears on this one. With so many voters giving the green light to mj, Trump will likely flow with states rights on the issue. And those states that advocate the mj herb (remember, it's not a weed at all) will increase their tax revenues while the rest suck air.
In the end, because it's all about money in the political arena, nearly all states will eventually welcome marijuana in one form or another.
Loyal
sugar,
Merger? I hope not and I doubt it. Haas expanded by cloning himself when he created GLAG, and with diversification going on within probably has more than enough on his plate now.
Just guesstimating here, since I'm not a big fan of mergers to start with.
Loyal
sugar,
Ben Franklin described the stock market best long before the ever was a stock market when he advised that a wise man puts aside 10% of his money . . . . and 90% of his free advice.
Loyal
Snottrade picked a peculiar time to take flight from service.
The jerks.
Loyal
Fast,
I'd like to agree with your (and neo's #36034) analysis based on the past, but the shorts/mm's couldn't care less about charts or trends. They have their own helter-skelter playbook, and can throw a cherry bomb into the herd anytime they choose. .05's, .04's, whatever.
We need broader good news and sound money numbers to beat this game they're playing.
Loyal
The way it appears from here, shorts are soon gonna have to do one of three things: Either let GRNH run for a while, short it all the way back to zero (yes, theoretically they could do that), or find a base line for themselves and pump it like crazy so they can make a killing.
If they don't let up on this engineered smack down, most retailers will eventually bail and no new blood will come in, in which case the mm's and other shorts would end up having to play with each other's money back and forth. [Have you seen the volume dial way back recently? People are losing interest fast.]
Loyal
So . . . . as yet another PR filled with good news was set before us, we saw the stock drop noticeably again.
What we need now is for the company to show a 4th quarter profit of $100 million and numerous franchise contracts signed and sealed in all fifty states. That way the mm's, mj antagonists, and other shorts can respond with more connivance by driving this thing down to triple-aught-one. After all, good news always seems to produce negative results, so what the heck.
Welcome to the unregulated world of pinkyland, where red is the new green and green is the new red.
Loyal
I really wish I didn't have to say this, but wouldn't it be a good idea to remove that top sticky now?
Nice dream while it lasted.
Loyal
sugar,
Been wonderin' that for some time. I bought and sold MJ$A back in the spring for a small profit because I knew GRNH was the better deal. But then, shorts took that one down from the mid-20's to under a dime also, and in only three weeks time. Longs owning it must really be up in arms.
Anyway, all throughout the sector, . . . . short rule right now.
Loyal
I'm almost fully convinced now. With yet another positive PR about Greengro's progress, if the pps continues to yoyo and stagnate, the handwriting on the wall may soon be unmistakable. Meaning, it will prove to me that there's funny money being funneled to shorts from rivaling industries (e.g., big pharma) to assassinate this and other legitimate mj enterprises.
Whether it be through successful revenues, goods, services, or any combination of them, a company's pps cannot stagnate like this without strong outside interference. It just doesn't happen.
In fact, with the constant fluctuation at these levels and the lack of volume, it'll soon reach the point where there's no such thing as a cheapy anymore, unless one is hoping to average down for nickels and dimes. And if the B-bands begin to tighten through December, it wont' even be profitable for the mm's to play us like a rubber ball.
Loyal
shell,
I been watching the MACD for the past week, and I think the mm's have been coercing to keep it from crossing back over. It's been one subtle bear raid after another since April, and news doesn't break the spell, nor do revenues, nor did prop 64.
GRNH will break through in a big way sooner or later, but just when and under what provisions ---- at this point I have no earthly idea.
The character assassination of this company makes no sense. But then, this is pinkyland, where logic never seems to apply.
Loyal
I agree, neo. Looks like they're trying to spook the herd again, or what's left of it. Appears to be mostly robo trades so far.
Loyal
slm,
I thought you bailed as of last Friday. Did I misread your post?
Loyal
Gator,
I hate to do this to you, bro, since you've been so congenial about the matter. But my Noles did it again. Ho-hum. It's darn near getting to be like taking candy from a baby.
FSU - 31
FL - 13
Loyal
Note: Mods, yes, I know this is a bit off topic. But the above is a more important topic than this dang stock is right now, so lemme be. How 'bout dem Noles?
Whopper,
From my analysis the buy/sell looks favorable, about even steven. Someone else may have more specific numbers insight.
I'm in with two brokers. One lets me lock 'em up, the other doesn't.
Loyal
P.S. - - - Also looks like the MACD is soon to cross back over.
A few mm's getting a bit edgy. They might try to keep it on the level the rest of the day. Longs oughtta hold fast here and keep the safety on.
Loyal
Oops. I thought they were going to try to tank this thing today. Don't mind being wrong.
Loyal
porky,
Normally I would agree with you on that, bro, but too many aren't sure GRNH is on solid ground. It would be a calculated risk on Haas's part, and I doubt he would want to play with fire here. Personally, I can't see trying to turn a potential $1.20 stock into, say, a $4.80 stock. Or whatever. We'll see.
Hope you prosper either way.
Loyal
Suggest longs hold fast. Mm's are likely to try to drop pps precipitously today in order to reload for upswing.
Loyal
porky,
One would think that if they were going to a r/s, they would have done it years ago at .0008, instead of now. To do so here would be a requiem for disaster.
Loyal
I think it's a only a little teaser. Wake me up when we hit a buck and a quarter.
Loyal
