A good restaurant bar can make 25k on a Saturday. The numbers are not really significant. This stock caught my eye too. there is a lot of repetitious promo though. I have seen this stock with a $225 52week high with the current low. I have also seen it with a .75 52week high. That $225 high was in August of 2010. Do you know what happened? I still haven't sold my shares...
Preliminary production on the leaseholds has 11 working wells, of the 120 currently drilled on the properties, producing .6 to .9 barrels of oil per day per well. Total daily production is averaging 7.7 barrels of oil per day from these 11 working wells. April production totaled 231 barrels or $23,331 in gross revenue from production. .6-.9 barrels seems really small... nickels and dimes...?
fyi...The best produce more than 100,000 barrels per day (1 barrel=42 gallons). Most produce less than this, and can produce as little as 100 barrels per day. A "good" well comes down to economics. It should be making enough money to offset the time, effort, and energy costs to keep it running and be producing sufficently to warrent keeping the equipment dedicated to it. Otherwise the equipment should be moved to a more economically viable well which will yield a greater profit margin.
