Must have been some negativity in this morning's conference call. Maybe someone brought up the Mossad raid of their office, or whatever their version of Tax Thugs who presented themselves for not getting their cut.
I hope Mozor = Mazor, lol. Up nicely in pre. Good find.
Platreef DFS out. NPV of ~$1B, production startup in 2022. Nice, now tell us about K&K, & Zinc startup dates & NPV.
Sorry, meant IVPAF, not mzor.
Spot copper up incredible .08 today. We're headed back to $4+ soon.
That's nice when there are only a few cars on the road. It would be a massive problem with millions. Not to mention toxic battery disposal. I am all for electric cars for those who want them, but, without some massive technological breakthrough, it's a bad idea with many unintended consequences waiting to happen. Trump is exactly on target with a mix of incentives for both carbon fuels and electric.
Finally hit a speed bump after nearly a dollar rise. To be expected. Just in hold mode here until next Assessment release.
This Bloomberg article apparently having no impact. Was wondering if it would play. Seemed like so much nonsense.

Thanks for the advice. Interesting case. For the big ones, seems it makes a difference, not only which lawyer one retains, but which judge you get at court. A fair hearing requires integrity throughout the system, a tall order in today's politicized world.
As I recall from other posts, I think you started out as CTIXER, didn't you? That one has been another "held too long." Peaked around $4 in 2014. Now IPIX and 1.00. I dumped it a while back, but not soon enough.
Thanks much for the thoughts. Hadn't personally thought much about KW being a "new" field. Looking forward to the next 6-12 months. See little possibility of this going the way of AVXL. I let .25 mil go down the tubes there. Was out safe near 11 bucks, then bought back in just in time for the crash. That's enough on drugs for me. MZOR has done nicely. Loved the lawyers crash here. Out at $37, back in at $32. You are a lawyer, but I hope not like those stock crash chasers. I accept responsibility for my own bad decisions and don't look to those guys to rescue me from my folly. 55K sh of ivpaf.
TT, just noticed you are on the "bad boy" list on Ivan board. Miss your inputs, politics, and humor. Any thoughts as to what's sparking latest rally in ivpaf?
BTW, missing TT's inputs. He was deemed a bad boy.
Showing good strength. Not sure what the specific driver has been this week. Copper rise has probably helped. I suppose we'll know soon enough.
Platreef Definitive feasibility Study due out in July. As far as copper, which is the main event, per the July 28th annual report "A new PEA is being worked on based on the May 2017 Kakula Mineral Resource estimate." I don't know the projected release for that, but I THINK I read somewhere that it would be in the 3rd quarter, ie, anytime.
Nice up, nice volume. Hope this portends a good PEA/PFS imminent.
So what is BLGO, investment or hype? Really hard to tell except that price is down substantially over time. Not a healthy sign. I still hold a few thousand which are down about 50%. Doesn't look like they have any ability to deliver, although some progress made in listing as potential resource for waste industry. I plan to hold but not add until they show me a real contract.
Disregard my post 1160. Erroneous.
Misinterpreted. My bad.
I'll CHEK it out. Ouch!
Sad, but true. Early 2005. I bought a bunch of forgettable Krap instead. Have been aware of mzor since $10. Bought 1K @ $20. It's a keeper. I think MT will buy it out eventually. jmho.
I found Intuitive at $42; stood on the sideline. Not this time!
3.22 - Now that's more like it. Been showing some strength lately, just when the broader market has been languishing. Nice.
Johnnyola won't be returning, sigh. He's gone to the great Iggyland in the sky. But we still have TT, PTL.
Ivpaf
Banned on our little Canadian gem??
You keep Justin, we'll keep Donald.
Well, that plus South African grab creates uncertainty. Markets hate that. Most volume is Canadian. How do they and the institutional investors view the risk level? I am glad Ivanhoe is partnered with the Chinese. They know how to use both the carrot and the stick, to use a quaint but appopro old expression. And the fundamentals are sound. But never underestimate the power of political corruption and stupidity. It's worldwide.

3300 dead in South Central DRC. This political instability isn't good for the Congo and can't be good for Ivanhoe. Hope they settle their scores soon.
Hate these kind of days. Checked my stocks at noon and nicely in the green. Made a quick check now and, voila, down $10K. Bah, humbug.
On second thought, looks like it's still looking for the bottom. Patience...We need a clearer picture of what the transgression is.
Thinking of adding this afternoon. Nothing wrong with the technology. Criminal wrongdoing, if any would be transient and likely to do with money hanky panky.
All governments love money. My pure guess is raid was for tax records. Great timing for a Medtronic buy out.
I think we are responding well to today's .04+ increase in spot copper. While I'm glad the mine isn't in Fulkerson, Baltimore, or Chicago, etc, where the real murder rate is high, I do agree that the perception of instability in DRC, not the relative rate, is paramount in affecting the investor climate. Local Jizla will be paid to whoever sits in their parliament, and mining will go on. They all just want their piece of the pie, kind of like the mafia. They don't want a shutdown, because no one makes money. Main thing, economics is on our side.
Thar she blows!

Volume is light, but trend established.
I'm no fortune teller, but I hereby join the chorus who sing "It's Buying Time." I believe and certainly hope we are at the bottom. I think 2.76 today was the final attempt to dump weak hands. Onward and upward. A nice, little fluffy or substantive news release would be welcome to seal the deal.
Sigh. Opened at 2.83. Death of a thousand cuts. You are right. A good time for some offsetting news, even if just a fluffy piece. All while we wait for PEA and next year's zinc startup.
That and the local Zika heads who are resuming their thousand years war.
Now THAT's the kind of UN peacekeeping force I could support. "I think I saw movement over in that brush. Could be a lion. Pass the AK-47, please."
Yes, I am aware of the location of the outbreak. Only speaking to the fear factor this induces in the market. Ebola would be a smaller cause for concern than the current political instability, which has increased of late, according to articles I have read. IMO, neither is helping. I see nothing else that would be suppressing the price at a time of generally good news and progress at the K/K site.
Another DRC Ebola story out today. May be scaring the paying customers away. Depends if they contain the spread.
