MC Endeavors Director U.S. Ambassador Lewis Lucke’s contacts and international experience will give MSMY the opportunity to really make a difference in rebuild and recovery efforts.
Ambassador Lewis Lucke most recently served as US Response Coordinator for the Haiti earthquake, leading the United States’ $1.0 billion to date relief and recovery program. Previously, Mr. Lucke was nominated by President George W. Bush and served as US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Swaziland from July 2004 through July 2006.
Ambassador Lucke served for 27 years with the U.S. Agency for International Development. His prior position was that of first USAID Mission Director for Iraq, where he managed a $4.0 billion reconstruction and economic development program, USAID’s largest program ever and the largest reconstruction effort funded by the United States.
Ambassador Lucke is expected to be traveling to Haiti again this week for discussions now that Haiti’s new President Michel Martelly has been officially sowrn in. President Martelly has pledged to speed up earthquake reconstruction.
MC Endeavors Inc., MSMY, was trading at .31 as we approached year-end 2010. The stock has recently bounced hard off a low and currently trades just under .08.
With over 270 million reasons to love MSMY, we think it may be undervalued and have the potential to revisit previous highs.

Housing development and assembly of the components right there in the community using local workers allows them to build and take “ownership” of structurally sound and energy efficient homes literally within days instead of months which may potentially save lives in areas of need. Communities will be integrated with Smart-Grid and Renewable Energy sources to become self-sufficient.

This is great news for a country like Haiti that not only faces earthquakes but hurricanes and is one of the poorest countries.
and will see more and more, I am sure MSMY is just getting started. I see we are now up to 103 board marks now. I am thinking we see more news soon.

New president takes power in struggling Haiti
new president Saturday and urged Haitians to set aside their divisions and raise the country from rubble.
"Hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, we're going to change Haiti,"
Martelly reiterated a pledge to rebuild the crumbling capital of Port-au-Prince
"This is how Haiti is going to get out of its misery," Martelly said. "Haiti was asleep — now it's going to stand up."
Political observers have stressed that Haiti's government needs to hasten a multibillion-dollar reconstruction effort to help house more than 600,000 people still living in settlements.
"His administration will have to show progress fairly quickly in order to provide confidence to the population,"
Martelly "wants to take charge, to assume responsibility, to make decisions, and this is what the country needs," Mulet told The Associated Press. "You can sense all over the country there's new energy, motivation."
Let the first decision be to sign contracts with MSMY to rebuild Haiti.

Former pop star sworn in as Haiti's new president
By the CNN Wire Staff

Port-Au-Prince, Haiti (CNN) -- With expectations of change running high, former bad-boy pop star Michel Martelly was sworn in Saturday as the president of impoverished Haiti, still reeling from last year's devastating earthquake.
In a sign of the nation's troubles, the electricty went out moments before the inauguration, prompting formally dressed dignitaries and guests, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton, to fan themselves to stave off rising May heat.
Immediately, Twitter lit up with posts calling the blackout a "bad sign." Despite the outage, the ceremony proceeded before parliament.
New president to take power in struggling Haiti
By TRENTON DANIEL, Associated Press Trenton Daniel, Associated Press – 50 mins ago
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – Charismatic pop star-turned-president Michel Martelly takes over Haiti on Saturday promising to rebuild its earthquake-devastated capital, develop the long-neglected countryside and build a modern army.
The 50-year-old performer known to Haitians as "Sweet Micky" was swept to power in March 20 presidential runoff by Haitians tired of past leaders who failed to provide even basic services, such as decent roads, water and electricity in the Western Hemisphere's poorest country.
"I voted for President Micky because he can do something, he can bring change," Jonathan Charles, a 22-year-old college student. "He'll help the youth believe in a future."
Martelly appealed to young voters like Charles because he is the antithesis of outgoing President Rene Preval, who is seen as aloof and uninspiring. Martelly is effusive and charming. He once joked that he'd dance naked atop the National Palace if he were elected president.
But the challenges Martelly faces in fulfilling his ambitious promises were clear Saturday. He was to be sworn in front of the country's collapsed National Palace and a shantytown filled with thousands of people displaced by last year's magnitude-7.0 earthquake.
During his campaign, he promised to build houses in the capital; bring economic development to the countryside; provide universal education for children; develop agriculture; and replace the discredited armed forces with a modern army capable of responding to natural disasters. The previous discredited army was disbanded by ousted former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 1995.
Political observers say speeding up the multibillion-dollar reconstruction effort is paramount. That means Martelly's administration must make progress building houses for the more than 600,000 people still living in settlements; stem a cholera epidemic that threatens to spread during the rainy and hurricane seasons; and strengthen the judiciary. And a parliament controlled by political opponents from Preval's party could make passing bills difficult.
He must he do all this quickly.
"His administration will have to show progress fairly quickly in order to provide confidence to the population," said Mark Schneider, senior vice president of the International Crisis Group in Washington, D.C.
Martelly will lead a country still divided over the presidential election itself. He was initially excluded from the runoff in favor of a candidate backed by Preval, only to be restored after the international community challenged the results.
One sign of the division: Martelly's opponents have recently alleged that he holds dual Haitian-U.S. citizenship, which would disqualify him for the presidency. He denies the allegation.
In what some view as a reconciliation effort, Martelly has invited to the inauguration both Aristide and Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier, the former dictator who made a surprise return to Haiti in January. It's not known if either will attend.
Since Duvalier came back, the ex-despot has been charged with embezzlement and human rights abuses, and advocacy groups have criticized Martelly for inviting him.
"Martelly's facing the need to knit together a polarized country," Schneider said. "Haiti just went through an election which was riven by discord, disagreement, and unhappiness. And given the makeup of the parliament, he has the major task of forging a national government."
In the weeks since Haitian authorities declared him the winner, Martelly has toured the countryside to learn more about reconstruction projects, announced ways to finance free education, and formed a transition team, led by Duvalier's former social affairs minister, Daniel Supplice.
On the eve of the inauguration, volunteers swept the streets in the capital and supporters painted walls and buildings pink, Martelly's campaign color. Bands of young people paraded through Port-au-Prince, chanting "Martelly, Martelly!" And others gathered in front of the National Palace to pray for Haiti's new president.
Martelly was well-known as an entertainer. But what kind of leader he makes, many in Haiti aren't sure.
"He's unpredictable," said Patrick Elie, a defense minister under Aristide and an adviser to Preval. "He's got teeth that can both smile and bite. He's shown that."

over 6 million MSMY shares traded today. another incredible MSMY day and an awesome end to a great week. Is good to be green
Ask yourself why?
I want you to think about why hundreds of those mobile homes and most of the stick and brick
homes disappeared in Tuscaloosa a couple of weeks ago. They just vanished. And the insurance
companies are going to buy the same type mobile homes made with 2”x2” studs as a
replacement for those who were lucky enough to have survived and had tornado insurance.
Why do that? Ecomomics? For almost the same cost they could purchase and build a home
that was constructed differently, with alternative methods and technologies that could stand
225 mph winds or an 8.0 earthquake. We need to educate and we (MCE) need to be the
designer and builder or even better, the master planning firm and the developer. Acceptance of
“change” is our biggest obstacle. The building industry (here in the US) has big lobbyists and big
money and they construct with only the “bottom-line” as a goal. You would think that building
with “safety” is a common goal and an important issue, but it really is not. Using wood for
structural elements and fiberglass insulation for passive temperature protection are bad
practices. Period.
We build with 2”x2” welded steel tubing for strength and then we use Rigid Closed Cell
Insulation for passive temperature protection.
yes it is, lets see if we can move this MSMY train into the.09 station
I am willing to bet there are those that regret selling MSMY shares already.
