I am not saying your wins are luck... and real big wins come from real big risks. Much kudos for guys that extend themselves out there really far and reap the profit from that risk. Effin America! That just is not me.
For every guy that is making it huge off of pennies and stinky pinkies by extending themselves more than they should, there are likely hundreds that are suffering because of that kind of risk. The reality is that these people... except the one who wins.. would have been better off paying credit cards and earning 17% on their own money than hoping for 3000% on crazy penny stocks.
I am not risk averse... but am careful about the risk I expose myself too. I might not hit that 3000% and make a kajillibillimillion dollars as easily, but my base is safer. I know my target dollar amount for when I retire at 65 (39 now). I continue to try and increase my income today. Hopefully, between the two it keeps me from worrying less about money and more about living. The 3000% today would be awesome, but I look at more than hitting 3000%
When I go to the gym, I lift what I feel comfortable. Guys next to me put plates after plates on and squat (some good form and some bad) what they do. Good for them. My plate stack might not be intimidating, but I show up 3-5 days a week and do what I feel comfortable with. Five years ago I did the same thing and five years from now, God willing, I will still be going to the gym and hopefully will make some progress, but still not be lifting a house. Meanwhile a considerable percentage of the people who I saw at the gym today just won't be there next year this time.
That I do what I want to do and work to live how I want to live keeps me in the game. So far, anyways.
Maybe I take it to heart... but I would also take it a step further that Ben Graham would never call this investing. This would be speculating.
When is FB going to buy Whatsapp?
What I can afford to lose.
I am expecting a pps of 9.60.
I predict that they will continue to talk about an uplist.
I predict that they will PR about being approved to buy back shares again in about 9 months.
I predict that at some point this board will discuss that they chose to stop selling at Costco and Walgreens.
I speculate a pr on Wed or before of next week.
Yeah.... my adverstising dollars on fb were well spent and the cost to convert for me is waaaaay cheaper than google adwords.
I dont think you posted enough.

I would like to see a run to aquire this.
Just putting it in an index fund for the past 6 months over MSLP would have returned massive returns compared to being invested here as a non-trader.
I don't think low margins for Costco equates to high margins for MSLP.
Probably the low cost for Costco and the low margins by Costco simply allows MSLP to sell product at Costco. It is probably a good deal, but I doubt that Costco is paying more than (or probably equal to) what GNC pays for the product.
ALL IMO
penny stocks are all about becoming kajillibillimillionaires, right?
If we were investing on the proof of what they can do, it would be more of a value stock, but we all know that this just isn't the case.
We are investing on speculation or what we thing they can do in the future. Furthermore, it sounds like the company is providing guidance that they think it is worth $10.00. Why would Jan guidance from the company be taken any more seriously than the $10 pps that nobody seems to believe? Sounds like the market is already calling phoney balogne on these guys.
A PR might have more visibility, but real money at these levels in the pink probably has already looked at this already OR just hasn't entered into the filter yet because the facts don't make it so. Either the facts need to change or the value of credibility needs to change. There is no guidance that can change that outside of a small bump in attention.... only real things that actually happen.
If the guidance provides facts that bolsters people's opinion that the words out of their mouths come true... then maybe we see this thing go up. If it is more vomit in the form of a press release, then I don't know.
Simple look at the pps tells me that they market either thinks they are incapable of figuring out what they are worth or are lying about what they think it is worth.
I, too, am waiting for proof. Buy back, uplist, etc etc
ALL IMO.
Apparently, the market must not believe that this is $10/share.
Why will it print 10.50?
Some will say that you are on the verge of being a kajillibillimillionaire.
Some will say you will lose it all.
Pink sheets usually are very stable stocks though </sarcasm> so probably will be somewhere between losing it all and a kajillibillimillion dollars.
Have a bad day, buddy? Have a case of the Wednesdays?
I am anticipating some positive news this month! I have been checking the searches for MSLP news too often.
The only question for me is if it will be paired with dubious actions or not.
All IMO.
Musclepharm is selling it's own product and hopefully putting more dollars in it's own pocket too!
Funny...
So, Frost pumped in 12 million (about 10.8 million actual dollars) into MSLP in exchange for about 30 million worth of shares.
Even without any of the other transactions to complicate things..... what kind of financing would you exactly consider this? A great deal? This isn't quite payday loan rates, but it is pretty close.
Then add in what Frost may have sold and MSLP pumping money into BZNE.... there is alot of room for impropriety. I think it would be fair to note number 1 in the MSLP Code of Ethics. http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1415684/000114420412023251/v310296_ex14.htm
sorry... meant to include a part of your post:
LC....
Can you point out when this happened. I am curious as to the specifics on this. My memory is two minutes long.
wow. just wow. If you are correct, that is cheesy as f***. The laundry mat is in business.
Only on season 4 of Breaking Bad, but here is what I see:
Frost=Gustavo
Brad=Mr. White
Pinkleman = Gregory
All IMO.
Thanks for your thoughts
What are your thoughts on Frost's involvement in BZNE VS MSLP? It would seem that he is the mastermind of this symphony of dollar/asset reallocation. How are you seeing this song ending?
So, let me get this straight.... you are going to work to discredit scientific studies using an editorial from the opinion section? lolololol.....whew... that is good. It really does not get any more ripe than that.
Yes - he absolutely has a point. At one time, there were all sorts of peer reviewed studies indicating that the Earth was the center of the earth. Obviously, they were wrong. There are plenty of peer reviewed studies that affirm things as well.
Just because of that statement you bring to light, it does not mean that the results of a study are wrong. It just means it should be reproduced and verified by additional studies. If it is a crap study, it will be discredited. If it is a good study, it will be supported, assuming someone will fund it.
Arguments should perhaps be made to discredit the results, but they should not be ignored either. There is data in this study that perhaps should be reviewed.
I don't know the contents of this study, so I can't really put much weight into it other than "there is a possibility that there are bad substances in Musclepharm product", but it would be silliness to ignore or discredit it altogether at least until you can see it... and probably until it is re-examined.
This is another one of those situations that the best case scenario for Musclepharm if it turns that the results are not bad. Pretty high bar.
All IMO.
1m? I am more of a thousandaire, brother. My learning curve is still really curved.
I got my money trying to work for me to get me to that million mark. Slow and steady, while keeping costs down, I hope to get there one day. I am sort of like a dave ramsey who thinks credit cards(if used properly), loans(if used properly) and high risk investments(if reasonable in terms of the your own big picture) are all decent tools if applied properly.
Also http://arnold.com/store/ that goes to the new MSLP store.
People buy stuff off of GNC every single day, but they are far from the cheapest. I can buy for cheaper (outright) at Amazon than bb.com. Branding... and racing to the bottom price is not always the best way to brand your product.
I am not saying that this is a silver bullet that is going to have an immediate impact, but :
1. 4 days ago they were 100% reliant on other people to see their product. Now they are not. Not only does that help remove dependency, it also gives them leverage.
2. They HAVE built a brand name and in a game where brand and advertising is huge, there may be MSLP loyalists who buy directly from MSLP
3. It seems to affirm or strengthen the thought that the efficiency (and likely cost) of getting product from manufacture to customer has increased.
4. My guess (and at this point it is just a guess), dollar for dollar... more money will land in the MSLP general funds.
5. This is action... as opposed to inaction, which I appreciate. I have said here many times "less talkey, more dooey"...... to me, this is dooey. Not doody, but dooey.
More importantly, they have provided a way to sell their own product for them selves. To me, it seemed very amateur hour to redirect to bb.com when someone wanted to buy MSLP product.
My (limited) understanding and opinion was that BB.com was selling MSLP product and those sales were being marked as revenue in interesting (and less than compelling) ways by the company.
Not only is MSLP likely increasing margin for every product sold on the MSLP website, but my guess is that the revenue is going to be more genuine.
bb.com obviously will always have a role, but removing dependencies on them is a great thing, IMO.
Perhaps they are serious about taking control of the production/sales pipeline. To me... if it is as seems... this is a pretty concrete example of doing something real and concrete rather than talking about it and pr ing it.
all imo
Additionally... they must have released this over the new year and that means they must have been working. To me, that it released over a holiday... beginning of a fiscal year (i think?) shows, to me, that they are not doing this in a sloppy way, which I also think is good.
I am happy and if I didn't have my short term money in silver right now (yes... I bought silver at 19 hoping to sell at 22) I would think about putting more in.
It peaks my curiosity on what they will be releasing this month.
I like it when positive (or apparently positive) things happen, Lets not see it couple with crap news.
Here is my pump for the day:
It looks like these guys are selling on their own website. IF that means they are fulfilling orders as well, I see this as a very big win. It looks like this INCLUDES apparel.
IMO, this is awesome if it is what I think it is.
Nice work guys.
It's funny because people have been saying pretty much the same thing about Codie since the first day I showed up on this board. I know... I know... this time it is different.
So... the news today.
The name Pondel sounded familiar... so a little google search revealed that we were talking about this organization in 2012. They WERE the IR. If my memory serves me right, I seem to remember us switching and, of course, the new company were touted real hard hitters who were experts at uplisting and helping get more money from the big boys. A quick search through the boards on Google showed that, according to my search and the results, that the biggest thing is that nobody from Pondel seemed to respond to requests based on what I found. This was also during the time of the initial Drew C. discussions and the super secret share and pretty heavy dilution if my memory serves.
I take this news as neither positive or negative, but interesting.
On the positive side.... is this new? http://ir.musclepharmcorp.com/ I haven't visited in a while and maybe it has been there the whole time, but waybackmachine only has this month as a saved month.
ALL IMO
Or how about a picture of you finishing the marathon you didn't win?
No... I am not saying anything is a lie, but I haven't taken it as fact either. Nor will I whole heartedly believe something based on a message board post with no corroboration, supporting evidence or sourced links.
p.s. I agree with your p.s. I am absolutely a dummy for having my money here.... but as described before, I do see some positives. I am not here for the long haul... I am here hopefully for a decent bump and I am audi.
Is this a part when you are guessing again?
lol.... as the son lawyer, I am guessing that my pops would tell that Mutually Reasonable may be a matter of perspective. I would more likely go along the lines of NSF taking what they deem appropriate for being made whole.
The amount of evidence of guilt and proof of damages could sway what Mutually Reasonable means. We will see... or we won't.
