Newly named area starting with letter 'U'?
Does anyone know the name of the Cobalt area north of the existing WB cobalt. I heard Roger refer to it by name the other day and I believe it started with a 'U'. I can't seem to find it on the webinar though I believe that is where he mentioned it.

UEX holds Webinar. Share price falls.
Why is that important?
General Comments:
As usual with UEX, clarity is obscured by Verbal Diarrhea and poor sound quality as Roger's voice fades in and out as he seems to run out of breath with his run-on sentences. No other company has this problem with their interviews / webinars. Only UEX Management has mastered the art of 'destroying the art' of good communication tools.
So for the benefit of those who missed half the message here is what I got out of the webinar after listtening to it multiple times. Most people just walk away and go elswhere which is why each time they put out a new presentaion, I get worried.
Here is what I picked up.
32 people attended Webinar.
10 uranium deposits
287 acres - one of the larger land holdings in Athabasca
Engineering Cobalt out of the equation is not working very well so Cobalt is expected to be required in battery technology for some time to com.
M& A activities on the rise.
Supply deals beginning to happen.
Regionalization of EV arms race evident in battery factory construction.
Glad to hear that CoEx spin-out is being held off. That said, there does not seem to be any commitment to get another 43-101 done to prepare for a spin-out.
The West Bear Project
Cobalt Driven Cobalt
Nothing really new but still important to repeat.
High Grade Cobalt Nickel slide shows the 9% grade
Only the very high grade intervals are shown on this slide. The full length of the hole and 0.52% grade is not reflected on this page. In fact, this page is not included in the current Corporate Presentation. This is precisely why, in my last post, I emphasized the importance of focusing on the full length of the hole rather than just the ‘Incl’ intervals. This slide however does not provide the full length of the hole even though management has the full length available to them.
Winter 2018 Resource
Red dots 4.9% Cobalt could not be included in 43-101 results. This is why I dislike the 43-101 process. It needs to be revised.
Co Potential – West Bear Dome
I’m going to pick on this slide though it is not the only one with this audio problem which by this time has started to irritate me as a shareholder and listener to the information. The audio continues to fade in and out. Much of the message is lost to the audience unless someone as anal as me takes the time to listen and re-listen to hear the full message. Even then, I am unsure if I get the whole message. This has been a problem with all but one of his presentations over the past year or so. Why has Corporate Relations not realized this and fixed the problem? Once again, this is a prime example of how we may have invested in something truly terrific here but the message is LOST due to communication incompetence. How can we EVER expect the cobalt to be included in the share price when we pay someone to look after communications yet they fail repeatedly. It is like deja-vu all over again. 500,000 options for what? Salary for what?
USGS Cobalt Deposit Types
After listening several times to this slide, I think I get the point but the verbal diarrhea will lose most people who only listen to it once and move on to other investments. Simply put, the geology of other Cobalt mines differs greatly from the West Bear Cobalt geology. That is NOT necessarily a good thing nor is it necessarily a bad thing. It is however a source of confusion for the average investor and does nothing to add CLARITY to the presentation.
Uranium Market
Once again verbal diarrhea about peoples life span right from the start. Microphone fading likely due to run on sentences and Roger running out of breath.
Uranium Deposits
At the risk of sounding like a broken record (Pun intended) the annunciation in the webinar sounds like Uranium pods instead of deposits. What other annunciations affect the message.
Christie Lake Uranium Project
The pearl theory is interesting with the red lined fault lines.
That said, the high grade Cobalt result (2.05% and 2.32% Nickel gets totally lost in this slide during the delivery of the presentation. Where was that drill hole reported? Or was it ever reported? What mineralization was found beyond the 1.5 meters? Were investors ever informed of this hole? What is the hole number?
Christie Lake 3D Long Section – Yalowega Trend
Back to the pearl theory. It is interesting but the Paul Bay pearl seems to dip south east rather strongly. The pearl sizes grow as they head west towards McArthur but the grade of Orora (the east most pearl) is much higher. There are not enough pearls yet to claim that there is a pattern but I would agree that the potential for a trend needs to be explored.
Horseshoe Raven
Once again Roger runs out of breath and the audience gets lost.
Shea Creek
There is no point in drilling this any further at this time. We know that the Uranium is there. Lets focus on Hidden Bay.
Hidden Bay Advantage
Again, very unclear audio but I totally agree that they need to drill down to the basement. Tremendous potential and this should be a priority. This could become a big catalyst for UEX. We only need a couple of holes here to start.
On the Horizon
I am glad to hear that the spin-out of CoEx is on hold but I once again the audio against this slide is so garbled. That said, we should not spin-out until a new 43-101 is produced. If, as Roger pointed out in an earlier slide, the 4% Cobalt hole is not allowed to be included in the 43-101, then our resource may be significantly understated. What other holes were excluded and why are they not allowed to be included? The West Bear holes have been drilled in very close proximity to each other which is what the 43-101 process comands. There is something here that does not make sense to me.
Questions:
I don’t understand why the names of the callers were being read out. It seems to me that many shareholders would not want their names to be called out on the world wide web announcing to the world that John or Mary Smith own shares in company UEX. That information should be kept confidential in my view unless it is a reporter or analyst that is there to cover the story and are not necessarily shareholders. Notably absent were any questions from people who are identified as analysts. What did our VP of Corporate Relations do to attract the analysts to the webinar? Nothing? or have they been turned off by her Facebook and Twitter posts?
I notice that there was one caller who asked about the red dot to the south east of the West Bear property (presumably this was in reference to the mystery hold WBE-103. The answer was as vague as the unidentified red dot. The team knows what is going on but it does not seem that Roger is going to tell you what they know.
One of his answers makes reference to some more results that they just received the morning of the webinar. Once again, the audio gets garbled up so it is difficult to understand what results he refers to. After all, the drill results from last week stated that they were the FINAL RESULTS. Later he mentions there are more results from the last re-sampling program. I though that they were all in. Which is it? Final or Semi-Final?
We have 5 million in the bank. That is good news and important to know.
Thanks NewCoreFish. Drill Results Analyzed
Test Results Analysis
First 5 holes?
I’m at a loss as to why the first 5 holes from Table 2 of this week’s so-called re-sampling or historical holes show 0.00 ‘From’ and 0.00 ‘To’ in terms of depth. The width also shows 0.00 as does the % of Co and Ni. This leaves the reader wondering if they drilled into the air and, if so, why would they do that?
Yes, we should see ALL drill results but exactly what does ‘From’ 0.00 meters ‘To’ 0.00 meters mean/reflect? A good IR person whose core competency should be the importance of ‘effective communication’ would have questioned this and made appropriate demands to alleviate this confusion before publication. Why do shareholders continue to pay a salary and 500,000 options to someone who holds a title of VP Corporate Relations and yet does not seem to understand the importance of such matters. Share holders have gotten 0.00 benefit from this hire. In fact, we have NEGATIVE returns instead. I notice that her name was not included on the Proxy form this year. Hmmm. I wonder why.
Lengths being reported
When investors are reading drill results, it is VERY IMPORTANT to focus mainly on the FIRST LINE of any drill hole. The ‘Incl’ lines, can be important too but depending on their impact on the first line, can also be very distracting and very misleading. Furthermore, it is equally important to read the depth of the results being reported and the core length to which the grade is associated.
For example, the Orora zone at Christie Lake reported two holes with >20% U308 for an interval of 8.5 meters or roughly 27 feet. Because of the long continuous length, that was a very significant result. Additional very high grades that were found immediately above and below those two 8.5 meter intervals reduced the grade of the overall core length but still left a very high grade over the entire length of the drill hole.
In contrast, the West Bear hole WBE-019 reported 9.94% Cobalt and 2.97% Nickel over just 0.2 meters in 2017. That got a lot of readers excited but was somewhat misleading as evidenced by the re-sampling program reported this week. This week, that same hole, when looked at from a longer drill length of 30.3 meters, reported only 0.52% Cobalt. I use the word ‘only’ rather loosely.
In this case, some readers may be disappointed in the revised grade for WBE-019 (publication of a lower grade over a much longer interval) but the newer result is actually more important than the previous result because the 0.52% grade (a very impressive grade for Cobalt) over the long 30.3 meters (almost 100 feet) interval suggests a very economical situation especially given the fact that the interval runs at a shallow depth starting at 32.7 meters.
Mystery hole WBE-103?
Once again, the red drill hole to the bottom right of Figure 1, (possibly representing hole WBE-103) appears in this news release but no hole number or grade for it is reported. I do note that the Corporate Presentation suggests by its relative position, that the grades for the red hole include 1.16% Cobalt and 0.89% Nickel over only 0.32 meters or just 1 foot of interval. As per my notes above, this is likely misleading to the readers. Once again clarity is absent.
This smaller sized red dot (representing a sonic drill hole - according to legends from previous publishings of this map) has appeared on numerous iterations of news releases and Corporate presentations and yet is STILL NOT published as a drill result anywhere that I can see other than an arrowed comment on a page titled Initial 2019 Winter Results in the latest iteration of the Corporate presentation.

My Crystal Ball caught FIRE because its rechargeable battery did not contain enough Cobalt.
I won't comment on the sudden motive for the webinar but I will say this.
UEX is an incredible BANK of claims and discoveries. Given the incompetence of the BANK's Managers over this past 1 1/2 years, it is time for the BOD to show some testicular fortitude and do what is right for the majority of SHAREHOLDERS.
As for the BOD, and with all due respect to Accountants, UEX needs more geologists on the BOD not more accountants. The CEO should not be a member of the BOD. The CEO should be accountable to the BOD and the shareholders that they are 'supposed to' represent.
Casey Research is at it again.
Only this time the emphasis on Cobalt has been increased.
They are still primarily promoting Nickel Sulphide as part of the 1-1-8 technology. 1 Cobalt, 1 Manganese and 8 Nickel Sulphide.
However the Cobalt emphasis in their promotional material has increased significantly. They are sticking by their 700% increase in Cobalt price prediction. One interesting note that I will zero in on is the fact that they are promoting a company with 28 million lbs of cobalt. The material states that this is enough to produce 4.6 million 1-1-8 Tech Batteries.
CoEX so far has a 43-101 estimate of 3 million lbs. Using the above numbers as a guideline, that would equate to over 0.5 million batteries. That sounds like it would already be attractive to an automobile company looking to secure a clean ethical supply of cobalt so that they could be remain competitive and secure as an EV manufacturer.
Of course more cobalt has been discovered by CoEX since the 43-101 has been completed. Unfortunately the Sonic Holes were never assayed prior to the 43-101 being produced. So I guess we can look forward to another 43-101 once those sonic holes are assayed? Can we?
Another 3 million pounds would make CoEX's West Bear property a potential supplier of Cobalt for over 1.0 million EV Batteries. Another 6 million lbs would result in over 1.5 Million batteries. The Casey Research growth prediction for the Cobalt company with 28 million lbs is in the 1000's of % growth range. And yet UEX trades only as a Uranium Exploration company and at an undervalued price at that.
So why are some people still selling UEX stock? I have a few select words that could answer that question but that is something that readers of this post can conclude themselves.

How to get your proxy votes
If you have not received your proxy votes yet it may be because your account is set up in such a way that it appears that you don't want to receive them. What should you do?
Most companies use Computershare as their service to get out their annual reports in paper form to their shareholders. If you stated that you don't want the annual reports in paper form, you MAY have inadvertently requested that you don't want your proxy forms either. If you want to vote here are the steps you should take.
a. Call your broker and tell them that you have not received your proxy forms.
b. Ask them to change your setting so that you do receive them.
c. Ask them which company provides the proxy form for the company that you want to vote on.
d. Ask your broker for the phone number to that company.
Immediately afterwards call the company's proxy supplier. Explain the situation to them and get your control number. You can then use their website to enter your control number and cast your votes.
UEX uses Computershare (1-800-564-6253).
Online Proxy voting can be cast at www.investorvote.com.
One thing I don't like is that you have to select the Board members as your proxies if you don't attend the meeting. You can however still instruct them to cast the votes that you select. This process seems like it opens the door for conflict. I don't like designating someone who I am voting against/withhold to vote on my behalf.
NOTE: The above applies to Computershare. Other stocks you hold may be serviced by Computershare or by other companies which means that the phone numbers and voting websites would be different. Be sure to have your broker tell you which company services the stock that you hold. Your broker should be able to provide you with the telephone numbers to the company's Proxy Provider and the Proxy Provider should be able to provide you with the website on which you can vote.

Excellent video NewCoreFish.
I recently saw a presentation on Global warming that destroys the entire Global warming narrative but what the heck, if people want to believe it let them do so. The REAL TRUTH in this video is that the so called environmentalists make more money out of Wind and Solar just like Al Gore makes more money about the Global Warming (Since renamed to Climate Change because climate does in fact change all the time).
I like nuclear because there is very little waste material.
I like nuclear because there is no dirty air that spews out into our lungs.
I like nuclear because it requires no pipelines and a boatload of energy can be delivered by a single transport truck which also reduced the carbon footprint.
I invest in Nuclear because IT IS THE SOLUTION to a serious problem like keeping the lights and computers running reliably.
Thanks for sharing. Greate post.
As for AOC she is more frightening than a nuclear catastrophe in my opinion.

Very interesting development. North America is starting to re-claim its independence once again thanks to a USA president that refuses to turn a blind eye to the raping of our resources as past administrations did.
North America needs a new enlarged Uranium Enrichment facility and a Cobalt Refinery as well. It looks like the Cobalt is going to be refined in Canada and the Uranium Enrichment will take place in the USA.
The deal referenced in this article is between Glencore and First Cobalt. The only potential involvement for UEX / CoEX would be as a Feedstock supplier of Cobalt. I can see that an automotive company could buy out CoEX in one form or other and use the material from West Bear to be processed as 'Ethical' Cobalt with the material changing as few hands as possible to maintain certainty/clarity of the 'Ethical' audit trail factor.
Let's hope that CoEX has a CEO with good negotiation skills to look after those of us that invested in this venture. I know that Stephen Sorensen would be the best man for that job. Let's hope that West Bear proves up at least 10 million lbs in 2019.

I love Lobo's stance on the fact that he does not care if he is wined and dined or put up at a 5 star hotel. This shows a lot of intergrity. One thing that I would advise him on is to change his outlook on the value of going fishing afterwards. That is where one might learn a lot more about the mines and the people behind the mine that he is looking at.
For what it is worth, I think this Uranium boom, when it starts, will last much longer than the previous booms simply because there is so much more world demand this time around. Also, as Lobo mentions, the environmentalists are now supporting nuclear instead of opposing it. That is a double whammy in itself in favour of a prolonged and sustainable gain in the price of Uranium.
Thanks again for sharing and participating. I wish that we could attract more discussion to this board. I do notice an increase in buying from the USA. This is a good indicator and if it icreases it could contribute nicely to a deserving rise in share price. UEX is truly a great Uranium Exploration company and has the potential to gain a much higher percentage than others. Just a management change alone would see the share price going up in multiples from its current value.
Mr Sorensen are you listening?
Wow Joe-techi! This takes the cake. Thanks for sharing.
Not so informal if you ask me. Roger used to be very informal but not since they hired an IR VP. He has been totally the opposite. It is election time. This is a shameful political stunt. Too little too late in my opinion.
As usual, Roger's timing is not great. The Tarrifs on Aluminum and Steel have been removed this week.
As usual, you have to turn the speakers way up to hear what Roger is saying. A CEO needs to be excited and clear in his verbal delivery. He looks boring and distrated. FOCUS ROGER! FOCUS!
He suffers from Verbal Diarrhea and loses the audience with it. This does not help shareholder value when you don't have a CEO that is excited about the company and simply loses his/her audience in a pile of verbal diarrhea.
During this interview he keeps glancing over to his left while addressing the audience/camera. Gee I wonder what could be so distracting that he keeps taking his eyes off to the other side of the set. FOCUS ROGER. FOCUS! Stop twiddling your thumbs. Body language is pathetic and possibly detrimental to shareholder value.
As usual, he did not answer my questions. Like, why did he fail to assay the Sonic holes BEFORE raising money for the West Bear property exploration. Or, what does our IR VP actually do that has helped shareholder value? Why did UEX hire her just as Cameco let her go?
Has anyone received their voting ballots yet? They should be coming soon. If you don't, call your broker this week. If you don't vote, you basically vote for more of the same. I will check off the 'NO' or 'Withhold' box. We need someone that can actually communicate and articulate. This video is a joke.
One more thing. The last Uranium Bull market has roughly 400 Uranium Exploration companies in which to invest. This Horizon PURE PLAY ETF has ONLY 21. Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines please.
Joe_techi. Unlike Global X, Horizon seems to understand the need for a PURE PLAY investment. This is much better than the approach taken by Global X.
I looked at at this some time ago and tried to post the list in a sorted fashion but I could not get the numbers to line up so I deleted my attempts. Your link provides what I was attempting to calculate and post. Thank you.
Frankly, I'm quite happy to see UEX with a relatively low weighting 0.85% in any ETF.
Today's 'heart monitor' action for UEX and DML was unlike anything I have ever seen for a single day of trading. It looked like an algorithmn trading war. Check out the one day trading for today's date (in line form) for UEX and DML. You will see what I mean.
Thanks for sharing the link.
Judging by what is going on with Iran these days I would not be surprised if they are enriching Uranium and laundering it somewhow. The links to them and North Korea are quite evident. Is there a black market for Uranium that could explain the baffling low spot price these days? Who knows but the smell is getting pretty bad.

Good post X30X
Previous adnimistrations allowed China to domininate this market. Now they are scrambling to keep up. And what do the market makers do when the Trump administration finally takes a stand against China. They decide to panic and short the market. Yesterday I wastched in disgust when BNN was interviewing a female investment manager who claimed that somehow she was "empowering women' and the there was no good place to invest in except ASIA and to short all other stoccks. She made no mnetion of Uranium or the coming EV Revoluution - NONE.
Thiis is the problem with America and Canada today. Successive administrations in Canada, USA and Europe kept telling their people that they are BAD or EVIL if they make money. Now, we have an administrtaion in the USA that says 'enough already' and the market makers panic or display that they know nothing about COMMON SENSE.
Invest in fruitcakes folks. Everone seems to be joining on the bandwagon.
Short positions for Apr 30, 2019 are up again.
Short positions stood at 1,513,074 up by 24,621.
That said, the percentage of trades from the USA remains high. This despite all the foolish panic about a failed China Deal. I would panic if Trump gave into China. Investors are not the smartest bunch when it comes to understanding negotiations.
Newsflash about Uranium!
The Market is shouting it from the hilltops. The planet NO LONGER REQUIRES electricity. Uranium miners will shut down all operations and once Nucliear Plant operators run out of Uranium they will all go home and buy fireplaces to keep warm and roast marshmallows on.
Sell Sell Sell all Uranium shares while you still can. Who needs electricity anyway? Not us trades and posters. Not the doctors who operate in the hospitals. Not the banks that run computers to track our trades and bank accounts. All those electric car assembly plants may was well close down too. There won't be any electricity to power up the EVs. Come to think of it, they should stop building combusntion engine vehicles too because we won't be able to pump gas either. Yay! No more electricity. Invest in candles. Oh wait their won't be any computers anymore to make trades with. Oh well. Just stock up on candles then.
Live Long and get ready to freeze your buns off!
The political posturing at the Barr Testimaony by the Democrats on Wednesday and Thursday hurt the markets on Thursday. Today's incredible US job reports already show a tripple digit gain in the USA markets. Clearly the markets don't like the prospect of a Democrat led government. It remains to be seen what obstruction if any they will come up with when it comes to petition 232. They claim to be on side with nuclear but they continue to obstruct anything Trump does.
Politics is the enemy of mankind's progress. The world needs Nuclear energy if it really believes that Global warming is happening. I want Nuclear Energy because it helps to keep the air cleaner.
