Re: IDFR
I really don't like trading pinks since I can't get the level II but the deal sounded interesting. So you think the dilution is that bad that the merger won't boost the share price?
bb,
What do you think of the IDFR/CYSI news?
Those emoticons are for Digichat right?
bb,
Did you see the mm's bring down ATTP this morning? Didn't we predict it - doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure them out I guess!
ETCR looking real good - .055 X .056
bb,
... and isn't it amazing how fast they can drop these on low volume?
As far as ATTP, the news should have pushed it - hopefully after lunch - if not, I throw my hands up (and my lunch) :>)

VillageWorld.com Sub-Contract to Upgrade Saudi Air Base Approved By US Air
Force; Initial $4 Million
Contract to Provide Secure Network Systems Already Underway
Business Editors
BOHEMIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 23, 2001--VillageWorld.com,
Inc. (OTC BB: VILW), a provider of secure network solutions to
military, commercial and defense industry contractors, today announced
that its multi-year, multi-million dollar sub-contract with ATTI
International Development to implement a local and wide area network
(LAN/WAN) solution for Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) bases had been
approved by the US Air Force. Work on the contract to upgrade the
first RSAF base, valued at four million dollars, is already underway.
VillageWorld.com expects to upgrade a total of 14 Royal Saudi Air
Force military bases, with the contract for each base valued at
approximately $4-8 million, for a total of approximately $80 million.
Recurring annual maintenance fee income is expected to equal
approximately 20% of the contract price.
Payments for the work are scheduled to precede working capital
outlays, making the project self-funding. This allows the Company to
properly stage resources to ensure a timely and successful
installation.
VILW President Peter Keenan stated, "Speed, accuracy, reliability
and security are the benchmarks of today's military communication and
data network needs. Our designs and implementation plans satisfy these
needs better than that of our competitors. Given the events that are
unfolding in the Middle East, there is a renewed sense of urgency to
implement upgrades quickly and efficiently. VILW is prepared to get
underway and get these systems installed ASAP."
Mr Keenan concluded, "We are pleased to have been selected to
provide these vital systems to the RSAF. We expect to leverage our
success in Saudi Arabia to provide similar services to armed forces
throughout the world."

VILW - excellent news people:
VillageWorld.com Receives Initial Contract Worth Approximately $4 Million With
Additional Future
Contracts Up to $40 Million to Upgrade Royal Saudi Air Force Bases
Business Editors
BOHEMIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 16, 2001--VillageWorld.com,
Inc. (OTC BB: VILW), a provider of secure network solutions to
military, commercial and defense industry contractors, today announced
that it has received a multi-year, multi-million dollar sub-contract
from its affiliated company ATTI International Development, Inc.
The company will implement a LAN/WAN solution for the Royal Saudi
Air Force (RSAF). The project will be a multi-year initiative that
will constitute a comprehensive upgrade and redevelopment of systems
currently in use by the RSAF.
The Company expects to upgrade other Royal Saudi Air Force
military bases, as a subcontractor to ATTI International Development,
Inc. with each location estimated to cost between $4 and $8 million
per location. VILW expects to provide engineering, network design,
equipment and installation services for these systems. Ongoing annual
maintenance fees are expected to equal about 20% of the contract
price. The initial contract is for the upgrade of Prince Sultan Air
Base for a price of approximately $4,000,000. If this installation
proceeds according to plan, the Company expects to get orders for
additional locations after work has begun on the first base. ATTI
International Development, Inc. estimates that all LAN/WAN upgrades
for the 14 locations throughout the kingdom of Saudi Arabia could
reach several hundred million over the next 3-4 years. The Company
believes it is in the lead position for these additional projects.
VILW President Peter Keenan stated, "Overnight the world has
become a very dangerous place. As the United States of America
prepares to execute military action against those who have taken the
lives of over 6,000 Americans, the US will be calling upon its Middle
East Allies for certain military and logistical support. VILW's
expertise will aid in this sustained effort and will enable the RSAF's
LAN/WAN systems to operate at increased efficiencies." The contract is
subject to approval by the US Air Force, which is expected to give its
approval on an expedited basis.
Mr. Keenan concluded, "We are pleased to have been selected to
provide these vital systems as a subcontractor to ATTI International
Development, Inc. The company expects to leverage our success in Saudi
Arabia to provide similar services to Armed Forces throughout the
world."

VILW - still gapping on no news - what the ***?
Profit Chaser,
I personally have heard about three different variations of that story. The most popular one is that someone knows of an Arab family who was their neighbor on Long Island. This family moved the weekend before the attack. Their kids told other kids their dad got a new job. Their dad told one of the neighbors just before he moved "I like you - don't you or any of your family go into Manhattan on 9/11".
The first time someone told me this story, the family was supposedly from Oceanside - the next week I heard the exact story and the family was from Floral Park. A week later my cousin from Florida told me a similar story. Get the picture?
CNLG - way to go! Who called that one - Skeena? If so - good one! Congrats!
bb,
VILW is on fire - I'm kicking myself for not loading up some more when I first brought it here in the beginning of the month. Problem is I have been burned before on this one so I was a bit gun shy. There must be some news coming out -take a look.
VILW - looking strong again this morning. Let's hear some news on the Saudi deal!
Toshac,
I have traded this one in the past too. I'm wondering what is cooking with the sudden volume and price increase.
ACCR - anyone follow this? What is going on with it - can't find anything.
News just said guy on that bus had a Croation passport.
I heard that on TGL Live but I didn't hear about it on the news yet - terrible~
VILW -News - maybe this is why the sudden increase:
Market Response to VillageWorld.Com's MetroIX Exceeds Expectations; the
Company's Solution is Timely Given
the Recent Attention to Network Security
Business & Technology Editors
BOHEMIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2001--VillageWorld.Com,
Inc OTC BB:VILW, a provider of secure network solutions to military,
commercial and defense industry contractors, today announced it has
received orders from 4 ISP's and content providers for the beta
program of its newly introduced product called MetroIX.
MetroIX provides the Internet community with a scalable, stable
and reliable peering infrastructure for interconnection between
Internet Services Providers. Unlike other Internet Exchanges, where
ISP's must co-locate equipment, and purchase expensive Telco Loops,
MetroIX brings exchange points as close to the edge of ISP Networks as
possible. MetroIX will lower operating costs and increase the speed,
security and reliability of ISP networks.
VillageWorld.Com President Peter Keenan stated, "Industry response
to MetroIX has been overwhelming. We have found a "sweet spot" in the
Internet infrastructure market segment. Our solution, MetroIX
significantly reduces the possibility of a catastrophic network
failure and reduces operating costs to boot."
James Cornman, Senior Network Engineer of Net Access Corporation
(http://www.nac.net) said, "MetroIX is a great product idea. We are
all concerned about the reliability and security of our networks and
have studied our vulnerabilities. MetroIX is a unique solution that
provides another level of protection and at a very competitive price."
Mr. Keenan concluded, "There are approximately 600 ISP's in the US
who can use this product. We have barely scratched the surface in
penetrating this segment and already we have generated significant
interest and 4 orders for our beta program. This helps support our
opinion that within twelve months revenues could exceed $2 million a
year from MetroIX. "

Fed lowers 1/2 pt
VILW - this one is still climbing steadily. I was going to buy some last week at .10 but didn't (woulda, coulda, shoulda)!
Thinly traded (nice volume today, though) - wide spread. I have seen this before on this one - hoping that the Saudi deal comes through (I have old shares that I bought much higher).
I was going to suggest putting a "don't" in beteween 'i like', but your's is much better!
VILW - looking good today - this could be a good one if Saudi deal is for real (hey, I'm a poet and don't know it). Be careful with this one, though - management has a way of not responding to inquires.
bb,
Yeah, I already got out. Good luck to anyone still in!
