USOL - volume alert - 3 cent spead.
WHIP, I finally figured it out. I sent an inquiry to IBD and they responded just now with this:
Thank you for the email. The stocks is YSTM - Youthstream Media Networks.
I will discuss the abbreviated name displayed in the newspaper's Nasdaq Small Cap section with our programmers and suggest an adjustment to better reflect the company's current name. The company's old name was Network Events and our programmers did not make the appropriate change for the Small Cap table when the company name change occurred.
You should see this change either in Friday or Monday's newspaper. The new abbreviation will likely be YthstrmNtwk or something similar.
Please email us again with any other comment or question.
Now I can do some research - the volume was huge on it yesterday but I couldn't find the damn ticker! Looks like it is seeing volume again today.
So can I buy it at .58 and sell it back at .61? LOL
WLDI picking up steam in the last half hour.
bb,
Opinion on EDIG - if any?
Do you ever have anything else to say besides BMKS - give it a break already.

Looking very good, bb1
Yeah, I tried every "network" combination and came up with nothing. I did notice that it is listed between the Y's and Z's so I'm wondering if it's ticker starts with a y or z?
ATTL - looking strong in PM!
No, it is listed on the Small Cap - that is the abbrieviation for the name and it last traded at .08.
Help! I'm trying to figure out what company this is - listed in IBD Small Caps as "NtwkEvnt" - anyone know the ticker?
Thanks for the optimism, low!
Sold IONN at .21 - if it dips again I may re-enter. I couldn't resist the .06 profit.
Yes, DD - here it is:
ON Networks Announces Latest Version of ION Secure PRIISMS; Delivers Enhanced
Single Sign-on Portal for
Administrator Access to IT Infrastructure
Business Editors
PISCATAWAY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 2002--ION Networks,
Inc. (Nasdaq: IONN), a leading provider of security and management
solutions that protect critical information and infrastructure from
internal and external security threats, today announced general
availability of ION Secure(TM) PRIISMS v2.1 - a single sign-on,
multi-factor authentication and policy management portal that provides
secure connectivity to all infrastructure administrative access
points.
ION Secure PRIISMS v2.1 provides organizations with a critical
foundation to define and enforce security policies for users requiring
access to infrastructure components for administration or change
management purposes. Typical users with access to networking and
computing infrastructure include internal IT staff, managed service
providers, strategic partners and outsourced consultants.
"The issue of infrastructure security continues to be a
significant concern for senior executives at many of the world's
largest companies," said Kam Saifi, President and Chief Executive
Officer at ION Networks. "Currently available security solutions are
not adequate to protect network resources and information assets from
attacks launched through administrative channels. The ION Secure
PRIISMS portal allows organizations to deploy enterprise wide
solutions that - together with ION appliances - create a secure
virtual environment allowing only authorized users and automated
processes to gain access to critical information and infrastructure
via these channels."
ION Secure PRIISMS is a web-based portal that controls
administrative user Access, Authentication, Authorization, Auditing
and Administration, wrapped in policy-based single sign-on
functionality. PRIISMS provides secure yet granular access to vital
network and information resources by establishing a single entry point
for all administrative traffic. Authenticated users are monitored and
every operation is logged for audit purposes and breach analysis.
Unauthorized behavior results in the generation of alarms so that
security staff can react in real-time to suspected breach activity.
The launch of ION Secure PRIISMS v2.1 is one of a series of
announcements to be made during the coming weeks and is part of ION
Networks' continuing strategy to deliver solutions aimed at providing
a secure virtual environment for organizations wishing to deploy
enterprise-wide infrastructure security policies across multi-vendor
networks.
"The PRIISMS portal is technology agnostic," added Samuel Schmidt,
CEO of Intello, a Canadian IT Service Provider and ION Secure Channel
Partner. "By offering a single solution, able to secure and monitor
administrator activity for UNIX/LINUX servers, IP networks, PBXs and
telecom environments, ION truly has a unique offering that addresses a
very relevant threat."
PRIISMS v2.1 features include a `plug and protect' feature to
simplify deployment in IP VPN network environments, key generation and
distribution functionality for the recently announced ION Secure Soft
Tokens, advanced device command filtering and event notification
forwarding.

Good, you joined me - I'm in at .22 from last week.
IONN .15 X .17
ATTL .27
ATTL - picking up volume here - looking good today - take a look.
AFFI - WOW!
Way to go, tim, it's looking real good now!
I've seen companies issue a pr saying that they "know of nothing that is bringing the price down" - that may mean didley, but it psychologically puts some shareholders at ease.
That's what I thought. I think I'll buy some lottery tickets instead! LOL
Yeah it seems to be holding at .18 - surprised that company hasn't issued any statements regarding the decline in pps. Hang on and see what happens!
What is the attraction of these pink sub-pennies lately, I don't get it? Are we talking crap shoots here or is there anything to it - I know that other one had a buyback that drove it.
That 3rd day theory doesn't seem to be working for OMG or NSSI - are you still hanging in on that one - Good luck if yes.
SITE - anyone in? Volume yesterday and early morning activity today.
LU - keep an eye on it today - should be interesting - SEC investigating: >>>The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating possibly improper accounting at Lucent Technologies (LU), government officials say.<<<
I had one that I bought a boatload of back a few years ago - don't quote me, but I think the ticker might have been COU (or something similar). Anyhow, I figured I got in cheap and was either going to get something on the bounce, or just lose a couple of cents since I bought it low. The next day the stock was halted - they filed for BK and it never traded again. Regarding NSSI, if I knew why the stock was down so much I would feel a bit more comfortable, but someone knows something - why else would there being so much of a selloff? Good luck - hopefully for you I will be kicking myself tomorrow for selling.
Oh My God, you bought OMG?! I wouldn't touch it - I don't have nerves of steel like you! LOL
Good luck with both of them!
bb,
I sold NSSI at .19 for a .02 loss - I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I kept it overnight not knowing where/why all of the dumping was coming from. Good luck with it!
Yeah, and if you take a look at PD Time & Sales you can see that it came back right around 2pm yesterday - that doesn't mean it will do the same today, but the comeback yesterday was pretty impressive.
I'm in at .21.
NSSI - taking bit hit today - anyone for a bounce?
If it goes down more at this rate, it will be eligible for this thread - can you imagine?
DNAP - nice buys coming in - I got back in earlier today.
Gosh, I'm losing it big time! I just went to school to pick up my kid - little did I know I was an hour early. There I am standing there like a fool wondering why I was the only one there! I think I'm still on Day Light Savings time! LOL
I bought KESI yesterday at .08 and sold at .18 - should have held on until today, but I am happy with what I made!
SIRI - PM activity on news.
TENF - dead cat bounce? Low volume stock that saw some afternoon buying yesterday.
Shoot, I was considering re-entering yesterday at .45 but didn't.
