You have hate confused with lack of trust......pockets being filled "Texas Style " over the years.....the believers backing that practice up as "necessary for good management". Still an OK company...it's just not Haliburton or Rig like some thought it was. The middle class visage for large shareholders looks off somewhere into the distant future.
You are most welcome......as to good news, well...my optimism has dissipated into the dark matter of the Deep Down aquaverse.
But it's in a coma and on life support.
Whew........dodged the velvet glove. Stay safe and have fun. Don't forget that the only person "outstanding" in his field is a farmer.
Clowns are funny....mental illness certainly is not. Those who have had to deal with mental illness in connection with friends or family would advise people to choose their words more carefully.
Could be because the original Canadian....CNSX exchange, I believe...... changed its name to Canadian Securities Exchange, and the link has not been updated. The exchange ( CNS )can be accessed directly, and specific stock info searched by symbol. Plaintree comes up under NPT, and levels of interest are shown....but are not real time.
Not even 1/80th of what some purport to own on this very board.
Sorry....do not understand. U.S = PTEEF & Can = NPT
Thanks for the info....it's been a bit since I chatted with Christian.
I would have to concur.
Hit a speed bump with the latest quarter....and the chickens are already running for the hills. Stride to positive results remains in focus.....it is going to be a very good year.
Just that Wu is moving along with his plans......and Canadian shareholders are still being punished by regulators who are supposed to protect them, by holding a cease trade order against the company. One would think that these idiots would realize that the cease trade order is not affecting the Company one iota....its the Canadian holders that are affected. I think James Wu will eventually be successful....if for no other reason than Chinese businessmen do not like to lose. They do not have the same attitude to being unsuccessful as Westerners.
Who the hell is selling at $1.83?
I notice that the 26K of DPDW shares that was offered at $2.09 is now down to $1.95, and is apparently not being snapped up with any gusto.
Just too bad that the "Barnyard" is on Deep Down's property. I see no mention of Deep Down.
If you were holding your breath waiting for an answer......it would be time to exhale. I am not that interested in Deep Down to even attempt the response ( assuming there is one) to that question, but those with " past knowledge and virtual insights" are not exactly in a rush to enlighten you. What can be made of the absences?
Shell to suspend operations in region ( see next sentence ) and possibly withdraw for good. After purchasing licenses for 2.1 Billion in the Chukchi Sea off Alaska's coast in 2008, shell began preliminary drilling in summer of 2012. CEO Van Beurden said Shell will cut spending by 9.0 Billion and is targeting 15 Billion in asset sales overall ( not specific to the above mentioned region ).
That is funny.....but an impossibility. Not impossible for Deep Down or anyone who has leveraged their purchase of shares.
What are the risks of Deep Down ending up in Chapter 11......other than the preachers of more and larger contracts.... and associated revenue.....there must be some risk.
One other positive variable relating to this company concerns their origins in FSO ( free space optics ). Very recently some articles have surfaced espousing the advantages of lasers in the area of space communications and final point to point communications in computer data transfer. Plaintree is still involved on a regular basis with original and still existing customers who use their FSO equipment.
And obviously, as has been witnessed in the past, projections do not always come to fruition. Well, now that that is settled, back to my project....
Presaged or not.....when the herd mentality reacts to the sky is falling ( 20% or more drop in equity markets ) I find it difficult to believe that Deep Down will stay at current levels unless something huge is in the crystal ball...due to be released. With new oil, and more importantly natural gas being found regularly in land locations....deep sea drilling does not seem to have the same attraction it once did. No doubt there will chastisement for the last statement. There is no question Management has looked after themselves above and beyond what is necessary for a half decent living....and maybe that is the point. They know wealth must be accumulated now because the future is very limited.
I realize that....my comment was not directed at "Very Deep Down" itself but at the markets in general. There are rumblings that the overall markets are overheated and overpriced. If a 20% reversal does occur, possibly early to mid spring, it will be interesting to see how DPDW will fare in such an event.
Hardly a slaughter as of yet.......an interim drop on the way to a 10% to 20% major reversal predicted in the coming months.
Sue me. Yammering.....isn't that from the fifties!
Where are the faithful during this time of intensified emotional stress. Wonder what Christmas was like at Ron's house? Unrestrained, no doubt....like his and management's unrestrained dipping of their pens into company ink.
Another order for a custom fire pumper for the emergency vehicle division. Anything that adds to the bottom line is a good thing. FSO division ( Free space optics ) could have a revival according to some latest chatter on laser use for space communications.
21,786 on the ask at $2.09.......v-ger has left the solarsphere, no, really, it has. It is moving into interstellar space after travelling trillions of miles from it's launch in mid seventies. As to the other virtual v-ger..... well, who knows.
.057c close and that's OK because the Canadian close was .155c: It is a Canadian company after all, and that is where the value is recognized.
Moving to the upside: .145c today and 4K at .25c yesterday which, for some unknown reason, did not register on the OTC as the closing price.
So...any proof that this company is still in existence, or is it just a scam like U.S.Farms was?
Houston, 2013....presentation on PB's tender and awarded contract to Norris upper management. Not a clue as to what that means.
The con's appear to be outnumbering the pro's.
Best of luck on getting a response to the second part of that series of questions.
Merry Christmas to all....and to all a Good Night....well actually afternoon...but it is Night on half the planet.
Someone got lucky and unloaded at 2.18 and 2.20......Nice little chunk to spend on Gifts.
Exactly....it seems that is not understood. Whitney is not into Corporate welfare.
The optics of the dilution are obviously much easier to suffer, so to speak, at the two dollar level that if it were done at the .10c level...given the 1/3 billion share amount. Was the real reason for moving "up" the OTC scale, and the reverse split, done with this as a forefront intent. The dilution occurred not too long after the OTC level change, did it not?
So that would have been in the neighbourhood of 300 million in pre split shares. 1/3 of a billion.
That's not what I meant.....never mind.
