Let's re hash the 220 net price to TSA, will have the same outcome as this discussion.
Curiously enough, the thing that got me in is the only thing that's kept me in after years of this bad acid trip- the IP. Think we are safe for a decent profit, with perhaps a surprise to the upside with any game changing tech released soon.
Winner winner ,chicken dinner
Well,at least there's some volume right?
Z, when is that 1Oq due out?
I agree, the tech is what's kept me in through all this peripheral BS.
Ya know how that 500M market cap # got so much play?. I was the one that posted it after Glenn told me personally at a conference in Vegas. That was at least three years ago, when they hoped for 30% of the market. They are now the default tech for all things ETD for the next few years.
50M? your light a zero IMO
Never said you did, but I did say i'll take the $3 months ago;) My whole bitch, my only bitch, is with them not capitalizing on the incredible opportunites to positon and promote the brand and drive value up. It ain't rocket surgery, they are clueless and have squandered numerous chances to get new investors interested. This could easily be at the valuation some are calling for on a buyout- TODAY with a proper embrace of promotion-no one knows about it!! This is a 1.50 stock trading in a .40 wrapper!
"I hope this is what we've all been waiting for" Man have the expectations on this one changed- now hoping it will eclipse a six year high when at that time we thought it was a "ten dollar stock in a $1 wrapper"
Thank you Bill, for your kiss of death, and clever media campaign.
Just think we might be underestimating the value of the tech. Look at what's going on with Yahoo right now relative valuation of their IP
http://nypost.com/2016/04/07/yahoo-could-be-sitting-on-a-4b-patent-goldmine/
I'm with Vintage in that they aren't going to give away a gold standard.
I would like to think their IP is worth far north of 1/2B alone on a buyout. You have to look at what they just did in winning the lion's share of tenders worldwide for a dumbed down protocol device. Everyone is going to want that handheld, it will dwarf benchtop sales. What do they have now like 15 patents? We should all know how painfully long it takes gub mint to cert new tech, their's will be the standard for the next deacde. Carpe diem to the whales courting them and they know it. This is not meant to condone their in action relative to promoting their product. GB hired DJ,the IDIQ was already done, the product sells itself.
What coulda been amigo, this just looks like a little short covering IMO.
First time it has cracked 1M in volume since the IDIQ was announced, eighteen months ago..
That's funny but good friend and fellow long for years has a phrase he always uses to describe our time and SP in this one " it just doesn't make sense" Hopefully they have another solid Q,and release info on the handheld because they are a one trick pony to a buyer otherwise. Think we both know once unwrapped that will be another 24 months away from hitting the shelves.
I am curious to see if now that the oh eights are capped, if we get back to the volume of the old days. I can remember vividly one day it cracked 10M, and that was when the float was under 30M. Sure would be nice to see this over a buck prior to announcement, guess if that happens it will confirm why people treated this like it had the plague. With our luck here it will be November and we will still be waiting for news, which might not be the worst thing as it might equate to competitive bidding and a higher sales price. I can bounce with holding another six months for a couple bucks more a share.
KC,you are a good guy always read your posts. I second you on GB,he might have fumbled through some CC's and Media events but at least he gave a crap enough to do them for shareholders. Looking back at the SP during his tenure, it's fairly impressive he was able to keep it at those sustained levels for as long as he did. It's called communication, and a fundmental knowledge of media and the importance of public visibility. Conversely this current crew's leagacy will be a lesson in how to destroy sp and abandon shareholders. I'm atill a huge believer in the tech, but we got a dirty deal when the switch happened with mgmt. Glenn had little choices with lending, these guys step in and have done nothing but kill the momentum of the company. It's been frustrating watching them sit on their hands during all the recent world events. You only get so many opportunities, and there have been many golden one's over the last six months. So now we hope for two bucks- silence ain't always golden.
I have some at .06 from 12/09,and some as high as 1.16, ave is .60 I flipped it when it went from .06 to .35 on the underwear bomber, that was the only time. I reduced my position by two thirds after about six months of the McGann ego show. I would do the snoopy dance for $2 right now.
Makes you wonder what it would be at right now if GB was still at the helm. Whatever the outcome,it will be far less than what I had hoped for. You place yer bets, and take your chances. The two other positive takeaways from this bad acid trip are I will not have to watch this fester anymore, and I will have been cleansed forever from OTC "investments"
So I guess the smart folk took the 1.75 at IDIQ signing. Hoping for a buck ..what a waste of 6 1/2 years.
Here's the problem, all the potential in the world ain't gonna get the boot of DM off the back of their neck, or get this BOD to acknowledge they have done a horrible job preserving SP value. It's always forward looking with this one, even now that they own the sector.
How about..
5) TSA to Implant- you guys make/have great tech, but your biz acumen sucks goat ballz. We don't like your balance sheets, makes us poquito nervosio, sell the company to someone we approve of or you can kiss the rest of that IQIQ by by.
If patience and time are great warriors, some of us bagholders have been here long enough to make Sun Tzu look like chicken little.
We categorically are a nuisance for this BOD. That became painfully obvious when Mcgann took to the wheel and proclaimed he would not be communicating with investors like the prior CEO. Direct correlation between descending PPS and current BOD. Shareholders are expendables here, period.
Paralysis by analysis. Regardless,it remains the turd no one will touch.
Everybody here already knows this, maybe they should tell other folks, might even sell a couple three in the private sector.
The IP alone is probably worth north of 250M.
Probably a splash of all, definitely waaay above my pay grade. If I had to pick one I would say common sense would dictate they throw the reigns to a sector bellwether. I'm guessing they are getting swamped with ramping up to demand, saddled with full nelson financing, and TSA is probably "advising" them to stick with what they do best- innovate. They have enough patents to keep them busy for the next decade, sales and production has to slow that process. All JMO
Hat trick imminent looks like. So help me out here, under this amendment they won't flood the float, but will be compensated instead for ACV on buyout? ? Not bad either.
Agreed with the language and no length on the term tells me it's in the oven right now and being finalized. It's really the only path for them, their talents lie in R&D,clearly not biz mgmt. A whale adopts them and moves them in to a big house where they can tinker away. As much of pisser this one has turned in to it looks like the sun might shine on their ass yet. Brass balls being short from here out IMO.
I believe in miracles, where ya from
Maybe they'll get an em from a shareholder reminding them to release the PR for the re up with DM. Perhaps it slipped their minds the company turns in to a pumpkin in seven hours otherwise. You know how focused those rascals are in the lab..and they would actually join shareholders as Aprils fools!
Guess they aren't selling the company.
Know what I think? I think it doesn't matter what I think. But if it did , I would say we shareholders are paying attention to this like it's an event. It's not an event to them, It's an annual distraction. Look at the past to see the future with this BOD- they have been lights out from day one. Take the CATSA win,i know for fact they absolutely FORGOT to release a PR on it!. It took a shareholder that saw it on another media outlet that sent them a link to it that they put a release out on it! They are such buffoons when it comes to execution like a real company, total disconnect with media, shareholders are an expendable nuisance. Very plausible hypothesis their amigo, you give them too much credit. MAYBE we get a PR tomorrow, for a simple can kick with the tribe. I would love to eat this text salad ,but the odds are we are all Aprils fools once again.
Building the brand..
April fools day is also this week..
"Hope" you called it right this time round brother, I have lost more on other plays, but from a time and emotional standpoint this one stands alone at the top, or bottom, guess we will both know soon enough..
Buff, gotta admit it is a tad thought provoking how they are running this thing right up the deadline this time. I'm sure in true IMSC fashion we will get some kind of ass hammer- it's nice to dream big though if we weren't riverboat gamblers we wouldn't be here in the first place.
Surreal. Their product is in airports globally, yet it trades at .29 What a long strange trip it's truly been.
Up fifteen at the break, that would certainly qualify..
