Hi Scooter, don't forget Optimiss! It was her original idea. We just all put our collective brains together and made it work!
ficoce did the tech stuff and I did the words, with a little overlap on everyone's part.
We will make a difference.
And thank you for talking to Wally and sharing that with us.
"Gung-Ho" It is a twisting of a Chinese acronym by the US Marines that translates to "WORKING TOGETHER"
Sort if fits this situation, don't ya think?
CGFIA
I will be setting up an automatic system to do the tracking very soon. I wanted to wait till we got through the petition signatures first.
The share count totals were getting too large to keep track of manually.
I should have something set up in about 2 weeks. (maybe less)
I will post a link to a survey site then. Everyone will have a bit more privacy with the new system. The figures will be confidential & I will post only the cumulative totals.
Hang on for just a bit longer, Rangergord.
Thanks!
MT.
Thank you all for your kind words, even you AK!
Team effort, team win! (And the game is fun too.)
I just looked at the petition. 35 sigs so far! Way to go CGFI'ers!
The last time I saw excitement like this was the day of dry stack concept approval.
Can't imagine what it will be like when the POW has a "stamp of approval".
I think I'm going to buy some grog futures, or maybe just start brewing my own batch right now! That will be a celebration.
Life is good, and going to get even better, no matter what. Win or lose at least we have an effort being made by everyone!
Thank you, Rangergord!
We are all pulling in the same direction, gung-ho! Getting a bit exciting, isn't it? Imagine what it will be like when we get the POW mill reopened!
GLTA!
CGFIA
Leave it to you military guys. No one is better at organizing a full frontal assault!
Thanks, 67!
After seeing that the first effort letters to Governor Hickenlooper made it to the DRMS, I am sure the box load of those to come will be on Wally's desk too.
This IS every CGFI stockholder's investment. Let's make it work for US.
We make our own luck.
Now let's add a little effort to make it "good" luck.
I "signed" earlier. And it didn't even hurt.
Team Effort!
Now all we need is for the link to get around. That is where we need all you shareholders to help!
This link will make it easy for almost anyone to have a say in the "public comment" portion.
What could be easier? Name, address, Email, and a mouse click. You don't even need postage!
So our critical friends can't say it is a waste of a stamp!
Give credit to the idea man, our own ficoce.
He did most of the tech work, and setting it up for us.
Now, send the link to anyone you know who has an interest in helping out the POW mill. Yes, your mother, father, siblings, kids... they are ok too.
Getting this around town in Silverton should be easier than walking.
And yes, we have some local help in the area.
Now, get to work team!
Grog party after the rally! Oops, no that was back from my B-ball team days!
Just copy the link into an e-mail or text it to anyone you can.
It is in the works right now, guys.
We will have something out in the next few hours to get a letter to the Governor. It will be very easy, an on line setup so all you do is enter your info and an electronic letter will be sent. One per person. More professional that way.
The info will be up as soon as the last few i's are dotted and t's crossed. (or is it the other way around?)
Oh, by the way, personal info will not be on line if you don't want it, but the DRMS site we can't control. It will be there.
Just give us a couple more hours and check back. We should have a link set up soon.
We is getting real technical-ish here on CGFI board!
If you look closely, they are classifying some letters as "objection to process" which, to my understanding, is a reference to the DRMS "process of review", not any mining or milling process of CGFI. At least as I read the letters, that is the only thing mentioned as objectionable.
Hennis's Company letter is listed as "comments and objection" (for anything after 2010, which would be things applying to AM03).
I'm sure they have things in their own "classification" system correctly.
Just as long as they don't bring out the wrong file during the hearing.
Jobs figures disappointing
Gold prices increasing,
Election year pressure on politicians,
Does this not look like a perfect situation for approval of a jobs producing, tax base aid project like the POW mill?
I hope the State of Colorado sees it the same way.

No, AK, you have the swing shift today. (That has a 2x pay multiplier on Friday)
So, 1/2 • 2X = 1
And don't forget the tips!
Plus I O U two shares of CGFI(a).
Not a bad week so far!
Now what happened to the 2's we saw on the PPS earlier this week?
Get your rest everyone, the next couple weeks will have you sleepless. Good? Bad? Can't say. But if I knew that I would sell my truck and buy more shares!
(FYI, my last "job" I actually "got paid" in ice cream. Not the cheap stuff, Ben & Jerry's!)
Half ration of grog for you, AK!
JUNE 6th is the closing day, for letters of comment, Brendan.
But don't let that keep anyone from sending a letter. Even June 5th is not "too late".
If you want to make sure it gets there by the deadline date, you can Fax a copy first and mail the letter afterward. (The Fax has to be confirmed with a hard copy).
Thanks to Scooter, for this updated info. See post - #46817 for the details and fax number to Wally Erickson at the DRMS.
Way to go Scooter!
That second effort is what it takes.
And the letters to Governor Hickenlooper was a stroke of genius!
(I think that was our own local 'O'bserver 'Miss'tery Spy! [Sorry, I'm told I can't mention names.] If I'm wrong and I'm giving credit to the wrong person, my apologies.)
As long as CGFI has everything ship shape, I see smooth sailing to millin' time!
Thanks for the update scooter!
Scooter, do you think that Wally's boss got a call from the Director, or the Governor? Someone got the word through to "do it right" (this time)!
Creative filing system!
Just think what the files would look like without the DRMS' advancement into electronic records.
DRMS = Don't Rearrange My Stuff?
Glad you see it too. I thought I was going bonkers there for a bit. It isn't easy to read the minds of others, especially those at the DRMS.
The important point I believe is that I can not find any letters saying "I'm opposed to the amendment" (or the removal of the C&D).
I didn't do a count, but our side is ahead, if you support CGFI & POW.
Zero against, 100% in favor.
Good catch rbl147!
Thanks.
It seems the DRMS has their own way of classifying these documents, and the Governor has another.
It looks to me that if you said "I support the approval of AM03" it was listed as a "support" letter. If you also said "I object to the process that the DRMS has followed in reviewing AM03, it gets cross filed under "objection to process".
Then there may be a letter that says "I object to the approval of AM03" it is filed as an "objection".
What makes the system even more confusing to us pedestrians is the letters are coming from Wallace Erickson's office, Ms. Pineda's office and Governor Hickenlooper's office. Each person is using different key words to classify the documents.
These key words seem to be dependent on what the office is focused on.
Erickson seems to be focused on the Amendment, as is Ms. Pineda's focus. The Governor is looking at the same letters as Pineda, and seems concerned with the "process of review".
Actually sending the same letter to the Governor with a copy to Pineda gets the message across that CGFI has gone through a process that was difficult at best, AND that you support the amendment's approval.
I see my letters were filed just that way. "support AM03" & "object to the process".
Evidently they are not calling any part of the Amendment a "process" for filing purposes.
Confused enough, rbl147?
Let's just hope that the file clerk gets them in the right places.
Just my observations.
Looking for extra change in the sofa cushions. I want to buy more PCFG!
http://drmsweblink.state.co.us/drmsweblink/Search.aspx
Enter m1984049 in the document field and 5/12/2012 in the date. You will see it then.
That is as close as I can come to it without violating privacy rules on iHub.
Thanks for helping!
CGFIA
No can do. It would be a violation of privacy to do that.
The sender's name would be exposed to our board. That is against the TOU's
Let me see if I can get you close, but not show any names. You will have to search for the actual letter.
If you sent a letter to the Governor Hickenlooper in support of the POW sometime before 5/21/12 & copied Ms Pineda, Director of the DRMS, please check the DRMS webpage. Someone's letter is misclassified as a protest, and it obviously is not.
A call to Wally Erickson will fix the trouble.
Thanks for all those letters everyone!

Hey Scotia! Green is my second favorite color to hear about from PCFG. Of course you know what the other one is.... GOLD! Tell us that "gold" is coming in the door and the green will take care of itself. It will go through the roof!
Bidirectional thinking? (I just invented that term.)
Grog can't age. It melts through the barrel or glass of it stands longer than 21 hours!
Just like that cyanide that CGFI has in the leaching system of the POW Mill, but not as safe for the environment.
The things you learn hanging out on message boards late at night!
Hey, is that 72" donut ready yet?
Now, sem1, you know I think so, but I don't want to say anything like that. Every time I talk about price per share, it goes the other way. So I think I am going to remain silent on the current or expected price or direction of CGFIA.
Now, what do you think of the future price of Grog?
Good luck to all!
CGFIA
I know the feeling. I think that was the last time we will see .0001 for quite some time. I'm not saying buyers won't get an occasional "bargain", but the days of constant basement prices are over. JMHO.
Like you say, just sitting back "chilling", not a bad thing with the summer heat closing in on us all.
I wish I had an extra "grand" to grab some more.
Oh well, bills come first, and that "don't buy more than you can afford" line keeps ringing in my ears.
I'm content to hold onto what I have.

CGFIA
Well it is a "puzzle" and I like those. If we figure it out, it will make us look real smart!
It may show us something about the process. Ya never know. Always a surprise with CGFI & the DRMS.
If there is nothing "good" to watch on TV, I'll dig into it tonight. I need the bigger PC screen to see the documents on the DRMS website.
Cell phone won't do it without a microscope.
Later~

Hey Mou10mn, I can't remember or find the name right now, but I would think it is his "assistant" environmental expert.
I remember DRMS getting him some help a while back. Seems like about 9 months or so ago. I know DRMS had an "announcement" about his assignment as Wallace's assistant.
Does this jog anyone's memory?
Our collective memory should have enough non-Grogged brain cells functioning to dig it up.
Now where did I put my glasses?
I will PM you if I get anymore mental "clues".
Good to hear from you, mou10mn.
CGFI
Gotta point that to Viet67 and the other real heroes. I didn't have the honor of serving as these guys did.
I'm sure the message will get through to them...
I thank you on their behalf, Stoney66!
Got your 6 coveted! Sounds like a plan.
I look forward to "shooting the breeze" with you and counting our CGFI stock income!
By the way, I & many other friends here were thinking of you this past weekend. Your service to our country is appreciated, and I speak for so many here.
"Thank - You" does not say enough my friend.
Now let's become "DRMS*" and surprise everyone who told us it would not ever happen.
GLTY& everyone!
Thanks a million.
CGFI
* = "Damn Rich Men Soon"
Right now, Bren, that is the crucial step. Cut through the red tape. We should have a better idea how much is left pretty soon.
DRMS = Darn Redtape Making System
CGFI = Cutting Gets Finally Imminent
Sorry, just couldn't resist!
And #2.1 rule is: "Don't fall in love with the stock." Be willing to sell it for that profit when you can. Just because you have had it a long time, sooner or later you must part with it.
You agree, LT?
Another way of looking at it, shares a line from an old joke....
Q: How do you eat an elephant?
A: One bite at a time!
Take the bite you can today. Take another bite tomorrow.
In time you have a full belly and the elephant is gone. Usually your opportunity is gone too.
Keep biting on that CGFI "elephant".
We are not there yet, but I'm looking forward to a nice tasty elephant dinner!

The meaning of words IS /ARE important. People get sued over definitions.
At least CGFI has a verifiable mill.
Let's see what the DRMS says about the "Rock Energy" guys.
Hope it is .004 for the forth. I'll be in profit IF that happens. That will make it a 12 bagger for me. But I expect more.
JMHO!
Good luck to all!
CGFIA
I'm not saying 'nuttin! Every time I say anything about the "p" word or closing "g" it drops. So you didn't see nothing, I was never here!
Go (up) CGFIA!
He will be lucky if it is only 5 years.
An wise man who mentored me during the early years as an industrial sales engineer reminded me many times: "You don't know what you don't know, and those are the things that bite you".
CGFI's circumstances with the DRMS are a perfect example.
Is this the "contender" we are discussing? Maybe not
But it is a great movie.
You too, Brendan! I wish all the readers a peaceful and enjoyable weekend.
Celebrate this freedom to say what we think and pursue a little happiness.
"Hey, we want to pay you good money to pack sand all day".
Now I am laughing my a$$ off with the reading of that comment. It brought back some great memories.
I'll share; it may bring back a memory or two for some of the other readers.
My dad's generation had a saying, picked up in the service during WWII, that was the equivelant of "get lost & go F**k yourself".
It was "Oh go pound sand (or salt) up your a$$". Sometimes it was just "go pack sand" if you directed it at an officer or were in the presence of the occasional female.
Funny how times change the meaning of simple phrases.
He would be laughing to hear an offer to pay anyone to go "pound" or "pack" sand!
Thanks for the memories, ficoce and kuni. Good memories on this Memorial day weekend!
