Thanks for the info I will try to stay within the rules when I reply on USRI board and see if a few more of my comments make it past the deleted stage
Just followed link from Carnac to this board to seek information about the USRI message board which has been hijacked by a Moderator and Assitant both of whom are only interested in allowing one side of every point of view. From over in UK I would like to know if this sort of thing in common on IHUB boards
Good call
I keep being told on this board how much I have lost or will lose on this share. Someone must be wrong and I have just sold a few USRI and banked more profit so I don't think its me.
No idea I have sold out of this and reinvested in VYEY
Good post agree 100%
You can always close the door after the horse has gone, only trouble is if it comes back it can't get back in
Hi your remarks may be fair, but I can only comment on the people I know and have dealt with. IMO Miranda was only brought into the company try to sort out the financial mess. Any director already there had a duty to report what had been going on. On faith in Miranda's financial ability alone I bought millions of shares in VYEY for very little outlay, have made good profits so far, but IMO Miranda is only a great accountant and not so good dealing with shareholders and in other areas of the business and I think there are better people to run it now the problems of non reporting are behind them.
I agree that that part of my comment was unfair, I was a little hacked off at having comments deleted when other members can repeat the same pro or anti remarks day after day without any action taken against them. Some keep screaming everyone in a company is a crook when they know this is untrue, and others claim the share is going to make them millions of dollars for a few dollar outlay, which is also untrue. Neither of these positions can ever be of any help to newbies trying to find if they should invest or stay clear
His role as CEO always seemed to me like a transitional period until he put in place the right team to replace the crooked bunch who ran this company before. If he chose to hand over to someone with more knowledge of this type of company I would thank him and wish him well.
I bought into this company when Robert Miranda arrived as the one man able to try to turn this company around His main mandate was to sort out the financial mess. This he has done and much more by putting a business plan in place to drive the company forward.
Update on accounts its about what you would expect from a company robbed by previous directors. The main question mark over VYEY future is will Miranda feel his work is done and walk away. The bad-mouthing on this board may well make him do just that
Guess I spoke too soon
not much movement
Just so
IMO the share price of USRI is meaningless today with the large gap between bid and ask price.Since the R/S I have only 12000 shares but that is still twice the total turnover today. I don't intend to sell any at below 50cents
If you have $2Million dollars in assets, but very little cash as you owe $5Million.You are unable to pay your debts so you offer 1 cent in every $1 which your debtors accept rather than get nothing. Would you still say you have no assets
I have seen my shareholding reduced to 12,000 which I guess is a few more than others who come on this board and complain about what this company has done to them. Very few penny shares make it to higher boards and this may be yet another, but I can see that this move has a chance of success and if it fails the only fault in mine for taking on such a risky share.
Hi, It takes a little time to get over shock news, but then you begin to see the positives of this kind of action. I seem to remember new CEO saying he wished to get this company onto a higher board and out of pinkland. Cutting all links with the past by changing name and reducing number of shares is one way to do just that.
You could be right, many small investors buy a million shares for a few hundred dollars and hope to become rich. If they fail to get there in a few weeks they lose heart. Some seeing their 1M become just 5000 shares will dump what they have and try elsewhere
IMO This company with 995Million shares floating around was never going very far, 5Million shares and firmly in double figure pennyland looks capable of going places, but it could still be another part of a giant scam. We will just have to wait and see
Has everyone gone on holiday no comments and very little action on this board
Some very strange trade going on, do you know if the 1M was a sell as I too have just added only a few shares on a large order.
IMO this seller could have a close to 100M share to dump. This will lower the price even more, but just make it cheaper to add more for others.
Good update of latest news Thank you
I have a good investment record INCLUDING VYEY which I sold part at 10 times what I paid for the lot. IMO Investment in VYEY was always a high risk gamble, but IMO pumping or bashing the shares does not change the odds. You pay your money and risk it or look for something else
Anyone not being paid but always posting only negative comments is A VERY SAD PERSON with nothing else to do
On the stupid large rise caused by the court award I sold a large amount of VYEY for 10 times what I paid for the lot. This share is only for gamblers and sometimes surprise, surprise, you lose, sometimes you win. That is what shares like this are all about. Hoping that this share will move out of penny land is like trusting a horse that fell at the first fence will be remounted and win the race. Not impossible (10 years ago I backed a horse that fell at the first the jockey caught the horse remounted and when the other 3 horses also fell it won the race)but very poor odds
Hi
Thanks for getting in touch. It seems to me that with the high price of oil at the moment there must be a large number of drillers opening up low producing wells in the area and they could all be looking to use a pipeline already in place. Thats if it still is usable and if still owned by Platina. Good luck in your attempts to find out what is going on
Why is every attempt at trying something new is seen by some as a scam. Many large companies have lost fortunes by going into something too soon or too late, but that is what enterprise is all about. If at first you don't succeed try again. It's the same as investing in penny shares you only require 1 in 10 to become a big winner
This is a quote from VYEY at the time "Robert Miranda joined the company as CFO in the fourth quarter of 2008. His role is integral in the areas of finance and administration, as it relates to audit and internal controls of the company, as well as review and implementation of corporate governance requirements for the corporation".
While attempting to sort out the company finances for auditing he became aware of the crooked dealings that had been taking place he agreed to take over as CEO to try to salvage something for the shareholders. IMO He may have been stupid to try to undertake such a task, but I bought VYEY on the pure gamble he might be able to turn it around.
Thanks for filling in a few details, as i thought this was pre Miranda. so "The closest I've come to slamming VYEY is questioning Mr Miranda's judgment for buying into an easily identified scam like the Adams Ranch gas play" cannot be correct as he was brought in by the then management after the Adams scam was in place. IMO he has been trying to put things right with just a little success so far. regards twg
Thanks,I like the way you try to answer honestly as you see things. I get the idea that a couple of posters on this board, wait around until their remaining brain cells collide and then they make a post. I follow both positive and negative comments on any board, but it can get rather boring when the same meaningless remarks are posted day after day
Hi
When did VYEY get involved in the scam, and when did the scam start
I have not have been posting on this board very long, but I have held some shares in VYEY since before May 2009. Posting of positive or negative comment, if helpful is fine with me. IMO Miranda is a CEO trying to do his best for shareholders in what must be a difficult situation.
A stated aim of protecting Newbies from themselves sounds good. However anyone new to this stock should have joined on the chance of high profit for a very low cash risk. If anyone has piled large amounts of money they cannot afford to lose into this or other HIGH RISK stocks they are beyond help already.
Make money fron shares with very little risk. Only fools believe what pumpers and bashers say. If your unable to get answers from the management don't risk your money
I try not to reply direct to another member of this board as this just gives the remarks made extra coverage.Miranda was appointed by the previous management as a fall guy. to their surprise Miranda started looking into the where all the millions had gone. I am aware that court settlements may never be paid but it clearly shows that this was a profitable company and can be again. IMO this company still has some way to go and bringing finacials up to date is not and should not be a priority. Much more important is to get streams of revenue flowing to show they have genuine future prospects.
Quite right totally different company to VYGO
Conversations reported 2nd hand are only helpful to pumpers and bashers. If VYGO has anything useful to say it should be made available to everyone and not in phone calls to anyone who cares to contact them. Unlike a few who make contributions to this board I have a genuine stake in this company and only wish for it to do well
