PC Mall Adds SOYO's Z-Connect VoIP Telephone as well as Other Peripheral Devices to Product Mix
ONTARIO, Calif., Feb 03, 2005 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
SOYO(R) Group, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: SOYO), a leading provider of computer motherboards, computer peripheral devices, and consumer electronics, today announced that PC Mall will add SOYO's Z-Connect VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Telephone, 12-in-1 Compact Hub Reader/Writer, and the TechAID PCI Debug Card to its product mix. PC Mall continues to offer SOYO's line of high-end motherboards designed for Intel(R) and AMD (R) platforms as well.
"PC Mall is a leading supplier of technology solutions for business, government, education and consumers, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to increase our product offerings to those markets," said Ming Chok, president and CEO of SOYO Group, Inc. "The SOYO name is known for quality, performance and value, and PC Mall customers can be sure they will enjoy the same satisfaction with our new product lines."
SOYO's Z-Connect telephone simply plugs into a high-speed cable modem or DSL connection via a router. No computer or software configuration is necessary for users to begin enjoying the cost-savings and convenience of VoIP service.
"We believe that the VoIP and computer peripheral markets offer excellent growth opportunities for SOYO," said Mr. Chok. "Broadband Internet connectivity continues to increase in homes, schools and corporations around the world, and SOYO's Z-Connect phone provides a very easy to use, cost-effective VoIP solution. Our reliable, universally compatible peripherals expand the functionality of computers, as well as enhance connectivity between external devices and the computer."
The 12-in-1 Compact Hub Reader/Writer features three USB 2.0 hubs, enabling peripheral devices such as a keyboard, mouse, printer or scanner to be connected to a computer. Compatible with all of the most popular flash media formats on the market today, the 12-in-1 also offers fast and convenient download, transfer and storage of data between the computer, flash memory cards and external devices.

Simply plug TechAID into any motherboard with an open PCI slot to conduct diagnostic tests on system components. TechAID provides a fast and easy debug solution for all levels of users, from novice to expert.
"What began just a few short months ago as a relationship to sell our SOYO Dragon motherboards has quickly blossomed into a much more comprehensive relationship. We're very pleased that PC Mall has made the decision to carry more of our products, and are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with PC Mall," concluded Mr. Chok.

UATH Completes Acquisition of S2C Global Systems Inc.
Enabling Proprietary Retail Vending Distribution for Five Gallon Water Bottles
By Staff
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) --
United Athletes, Inc (Pink Sheets:UATH) announced today that it has closed its transaction to purchase all of the outstanding shares of S2C Global Systems, Inc. (S2C). S2C, headquartered in Vancouver, BC, owns a patent pending, proprietary "Aquaduct" vending system specializing in retail location based distribution of five (5) gallon water bottles that are filled and capped at regional water bottling facilities. The company specializes in providing 24 hour access to the point of sale for both the customer and supplier alike. Terms were not disclosed, but the transaction is anticipated to be accretive to S2C's required filing disclosure and constitutes the change in control of UATH.
S2C has approximately 7 employees and projected revenues of $8.7 million for its fiscal year ending December 31, 2005 with an adoption rate of 50% annually over the next three years whereby forecasts predict revenues topping $90 million.
Mr. Roderick Bartlett, S2C, President and CEO, said, "completing the transaction with UATH has been a necessary challenge for the Company as we continued to perfect the vending system throughout concept and design, realizing the required funding and finally securing our beta-testing locations. With S2C meeting the aforementioned benchmarks, the Company has fulfilled its obligations and has consummated the terms of the agreement date August 28th, 2004 with UATH."
S2C provides the retail environment a necessary solution to costly storage, handling and customer complaints as well as providing regional bottlers 24/7 access to dispensing their products directly to their end users; the home and office retailer customer.
S2C implemented the required requests with NASD for immediate symbol change to reflect the change in control of the company effective immediately. Visit S2C Global systems on the web at www.s2cglobal.com .
