good point !!!!
from your mouth to gods ear one interview on cnbc ould do it now that the death spiral is dead long suffering shareholders have a chance for recovery
how bout the zita virus scare destroying travel industry
if they ahd a problem they would have notified GBSN by now, bodes well for approval, buy or cry imo
that news is very telling imo, very confident pr got rid of a lot of traders, surprised ahead of the FDA
no downside for a month and a lot of news in between but somebody is buying just for a pop? don't think so
exactly
its over for chipotle not us
they should be buying hand over fist
they lost 20 Billion in market cap
and sales are down
the ecoli announcement by the cdc is meaningless
and we have a meaningful solution
cdc has determined the e coli is over but they never found the source and we develop machines that can diagnose food borne pathogens.
Great Basin Scientific is a molecular diagnostics company that commercializes breakthrough chip-based technologies. The Company is dedicated to the development of simple, yet powerful, sample-to-result technology and products that provide fast, multiple-pathogen diagnoses of infectious diseases. The Great Basin molecular diagnostics system is uniquely capable of answering both the ‘What is it?’ question—answered by a low-cost, low-plex assay—and the ‘What is causing it?’ question, identified by a multi-plex panel. The Company has FDA Clearance on tests for Clostridium difficile and Group B streptococcus. Low-plex tests in development include SA Nasal and Staph ID/R and multi-plex panels being developed include Fungal Pathogens, Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) and Food-borne Pathogens (GI Panel). The Company’s vision is to make molecular diagnostic testing so simple and cost-effective that every patient will be tested for every serious infection, reducing misdiagnoses and significantly limiting the spread of infectious disease. Fast, accurate results. More answers. One easy-to-use and cost-effective system. Only Great Basin is delivering a powerful product pipeline of tests and panels that allows every lab to adopt molecular diagnostics that will assist clinicians in better diagnosing and managing patients outcomes. The company sells its diagnostic tests through a direct sales force in the United States, as well as through distributors in the European Union and New Zealand. Great Basin Scientific, Inc. is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
People buying shares are paying .0033 per share I wonder if it's pre rs bagholders who are buying to get their average down ahead of the announcement, I figure that is about the only way an investor can get their investment back if the shares they bought last month at .20 is now worth almost nothing on the market so dollar cost averaging could be in play here
anyways the death spiral has been stopped and considering that and the pending FDA announcements
the patents they hold,it's generating revenues at an accelerated rate, no wonder they were able to negotiate a deal with their warrant holders,so they must have leverage.
Looking at Meridian's sec filings and they have GBSN in good company considers them competition in the diagnostic space, got to like that plus senior financing means less dilution, i would not be surprised with a white knight offer for all shares at these levels
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-01/stryker-to-buy-medical-supplier-sage-products-for-2-78-billion
"Medical device companies have been consolidating to sell groups of products as hospitals and purchasing groups try to control costs. Last year, Medtronic Plc completed an about $46 billion deal for Covidien Ltd."
GBSN keeps good company except in shares price in shabby hopefully chic soon
relief rally whew
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
Oh, somewhere in this favoured land the sun is shining bright,
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light;
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children
shout,
But there is no joy in Mudville—mighty Casey has struck out.
BREAKING NEWS
occurring far too often these days
shares drop on another chipotle e coli story
"Chipotle shares hit a 52-week low in Monday's regular trading session after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it is investigating a possible new outbreak of E. coli linked to the fast-casual chain. The restaurant's stock continued to drop after the bell."

$gbsn When they are hiring not firing but this endless financing talk is scarying potential investors away
You have to plan for the future also, not just be livin in the past. New day new scenario! and supportive legislation hey why do you think $ sune is up legislation
Lots of companies want a piece of the pie
Could be swallowed up by one institutional sale
sent out on Wed it bodes for an interesting and probably green Monday
good luck trading
That only went to his subscribers on Wednesday with Cramer's imprimateur I imagine that we are experiencing a reversal.
That's great only 100 k to be converted if they convert???
,this is the last hurrah for the bears, they should be hibernating anyways
traffic is slow,
Cramer's interview with Chipotle e coli problem [http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000466605&play=1
maybe you should ask the writer
I agree with the article
and it jibes with my experience of the Nasdaq versus the OTC
Nasdaq vets their stocks closer, better reporting

Bouncing around on loads of volume;conference related?
Green for a change
investors waiting on FDA clearance
shorters some must be buying back on FDA worries
in any case in buying category for me
and it could definitely see more appreciation today.
oh if I only knew
this market is a cagey beast
No news is good news in AH so somebody is buying also heard a rumor of buyout at a buck offer, however that was on a board and I will believe it when I see it, with FDA approval plausible. Revenues are growing and the only hold up to further revenue growth are the FDA tickets is my read. Definitely a buying opportunity for any ceo with money in the bank and diversifying his portfolio. I perceive huge demand for this technology especially in developing nations and the rural counties of North America. Huge!
Further to that the recent outbreakof e coli in produce AGAIN has made public health authorities clamor for increased safety in transport especially international and intermodal.
Recently I heard of a case of a biologist tracking mountain lions in the Grand Canyon and was concerned about one animal that wasn't signalling and presumed dead. Upon discovery the animal was transported over the wild country to lab for analysis as to cause of death. Now the biologist moved it a short distance by carrying it and ingesting the pathogen of the mountain lion
He died a few days later of the Bubonic Plague.
apparently indigenous to that part of the country as it is carried by rodent infested flea transmission.
I'm thinking a double from these levels is doable given where are the shorts going to get shares 80 % of the stock is shorted already.
that's technical
as for the fundies who would be crazy enough to do it ahead of the conference and it's relevance to events here in the market
really ??!!! kind of makes sense with what they have and the public health solutions it can alleviate. It would be a natural in Africa as well as the Americas. Heck I can see em in all sorts of rural hospitals. Not only saves lives but money also and who doesn't mind saving money, matter of fact good ole Benjamin said" a penny saved is two pennies earned"
Buyout is a possibility with the ecoli scare maybe even a probability
anything north of $2 and $5
and plenty of competition too
only gbsn knows what the revenues are but
when you look at all the shares traded
somebody knows something
and I think revenues are driving numbers
all drug companies grow by acquisition
they'd go bankrupt if they had to pay for R and D
that's why beaten up stocks like GBSN are perfect and we have FDA approval already
what a no brainer
and our market cap is less than a super bowl commercial
rotflmao
great buzz

go GBSN
Looking more like a 10 bagger from here
when the good news hits the street there'll be a line of shorts around the corner to fill the gap to $2.0 that's a !.80 difference per share and very doable as Shkreli pointed out when he took kbio to $40 ++
go GBSN
Look at Joe Cambell, now referred to as "Joe Camel" maybe cause he got smoked, he lost so much money over 100 Grand that he had to go to a crowdsourcing site to beg for money for his family.
One thing about shorting they don't tell you is the loss is infinite whereas if you go long the loss is only what you have invested
The possibility of a short squeeze is one reason some analysts look at a high amount of short interest as a bullish indicator. Short Interest is the fuel, performance is the fuse, says ShortSqueeze.com
