I love it. That was a good one!! I really did LOL!
I have to wonder, how can a company sitting on these assets have such a low PPS? I have seen (and unfortunately traded) companies that do not have the basis for their PPS but yet they blow this out of the water!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not going anywhere, but I am as anxious as everyone else to see some positive moves.
Will do. Working night shift, so I am kinda out of the loop.
I have only been skimming the latest posts lately and apparently missed something important. Can someone please clarify for me who or what "Plataro" is? I am lost.
I understand. no problem. The combination of wording and sleep deprivation made me percieve it was aimed at me. After the fact, it was very obvious that such was not the case.
It's all good.
Actually, I am hoping that one of the moderators deleted my string, it was a little lame at best.
My bad! Forgive and ignore my post to JS then. I honestly would like valid input on my perspective though.
I (maybe incorrectly) believe that there are many that hope to see the "past glory" repeated and exceeded by a great extent.
good day to all.
Thank you for a valid response. Unlike SG and therat's terse, irrelevant and demeaning responses, that is what I was hoping for.
Please tell me where you came up with 480 shares. I posess 603,025 shares thank you very much!!
Somebody please correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't PCFG around 60 cents/share a few years ago?
The price of gold was considerably lower, and they have made very noticable improvements in the extraction process IE:geotube improvements, new concentrator (the benefits of which are still to be defined), etc...
If they did it before, is it not reasonable to expect that they can not only do it again but exceed their past performance?
Am I decieving myself with the hopes of exceeding past performance? I like to think not, but I would enjoy the perspective of others concerning this?
Good day to all. It is time for me to crash and burn.
I started with PCFG in early November last year. A short timer I suppose, but still alll in. I may pull some profits over the course of time, but will hold almost all I have till I pass the year mark on all of my trades. I have no great desire to pay 40% capital gains!!
The really long holders here are in the catbird's seat. They can pick and choose their exit points!
I know there is alot of frustration involved with this stock,(the management, the slow progression of things that some believe should happen in a more timely manner, etc...) but I believe we will all reach our individual point of satisfaction over the course of time. Some want a dime, some want a dollar. I guess we will see where it takes us.
I have stated previously that I am not a businessman nor do I have a clue as to what is involved in getting a mine up and running. I just have to believe that the intention of the management is to get rich and thereby benefit me in the process.
Nuff said!!
For what it matters, I have no plans to leave. Not nearly as big a holder as those you mentioned, but here just the same.
Won't be able to retire (like some of you) if this meets our eventual expectations. Life will be more cushioned though.
OUCH!! ROCCO2 is gonna get nasty with you!!!!!!!! Yeeeee friggin ha!
That was a funny, right? If so, I feel your pain!!
DRAGON===????
It's all based on a faulty keyboard. At least that is what they stated previously. PLEASE!!!!!!!!
I do believe that management should be more forthcoming with information. You would think that they want to see the PPS rise. But, I have no way of knowing what their "big picture" agenda is.
As I have stated previously, I am not a businessman and I have no idea as to what it takes to get a business rolling. That is why I personally am not too critical of the situation.
The point of my statement was that alot of the references to Mitch and Rob are juvenile at best and they do nothing to further the stock.
A little addendum to my prior post: An afterthought, and I missed the edit cutoff.
I tried to teach my boys to "Question authority, but do so respectfully." I believe that applies here.
Trashing the management of PCFG may feel good for the sake of venting, but it will not benefit any of us in the long run.
JMHO
Good night to all whom remain. I guess we will see what tomorrow brings.
I understand the frustration. I am there too. I was nearly orgasmic when we were in the mid-3's. I expected a persistant rise from there. Such was not the case. Obviously things could be better, but I am still happy with what I own.
I just believe that the constant trashing of management will certainly scare away potential new investors whom may happen to read this board (as stated in my prior post) especially since much of it comes from "old school" investors.
JMO
I am not a businessman or a miner, as I have stated previously. All I can do is hope that the DD on the company is factual and that we will all profit in the long run.
For now, I sit and wait.
No doubt! 2 billion in assets for a cost of 3 million! I wish I had 3 million on hand and could find a deal like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't mean to sound like a cherleader for you, but I agree with your premise of wait it out or get the hell out!
This board was way more positive (granted that people have the right and justification to express negative sentiments, and that such things add balance to the board) when I first checked out this stock.
If the whiners on this board want people to buy into this stock and invest their hard earned money (and thereby raise the PPS), perhaps we should focus a little more on what has been acomplished compared to what has yet to be done!
If I were checking into this stock for the first time today, based upon the input of the board, I would walk away!!
I believe in what I have. I may be decieving myself. But, I am currently happy with where I am and wish I had the finances to get deeper into it!
That is my view from where I sit. Right or wrong!
Have you got 50 million (preferred)shares or so in your pocket?
Not to be critical of anyone in particular, But I have to agree with LJ on this one.
Many here whom are currently critical have stated "The fundamentals have not changed." Have the fundamentals changed, and this is no longer a good place to be? Or, are we still good and just have a large amount of impatient, pissed off investors?
Inquiring minds want to know!!
I believe it was "Nobody3" whom said something about $500 gold, I could be wrong though. It will be $1700 in June according to what I have read.
I cannot honestly remember whom posted this, and I do not know how to post a link. Reference to www.nbmg.unr.edu/scans/0830/60000251
Part of the address line was missing on the link display, so I don't know if this will give you what you are looking for. It is 66 pages long, and alot of it is repetitive (go figure, Government document!) but it contained some good info!
I agree with you. Are we supposed to be excited because PCFG sold an asset for a lot lesss than it was worth?
Though I am new to "pinkie land", I have been invested in "blue chips" for over 20 years. (I even dabbled in commodities about 10 years ago. "Pinks" are mild compared to what commodities can do to your account balance, based upon the leverage factor!)
Blue chips are alot easier to read, they pretty much follow the market. But, the are also horrifically boring to me! That is why I chose to dive into the penny stock aspect of things.
I know nothing about running a business; or especially; about running a mining business! Though I, like everyone else, would love to see this hit the "to the moon" stage. I cannot be too critical because I do not understand the dynamics involved!
I firmly believe (or should I say that I pray?) that all of the DD is valid and we will all be rewarded for our tenacity.
Nuff said. As always, We shall see where we go from here.
Many good points stated in your post!
I am relatively new to trading, so I am not aware of how to frame my expectations. All I know is that the information that I have come across over the course of investing in this stock indicates that I have made a good decision. Time will tell, eh?
I understand the level of frustration, there are alot of "long" holders here. They have a greater level of tenacity than I do!
I agree that they should take the time to "do it right". We will see if it pays off for all concerned.
GLTA
Can you please clarify (in a coherent manner) what the company is doing that is costing us "hundreds of millions of dollars"?
Please, please, please! "Coherent" being the key word!
Fear is not the limiting factor for me, Funds availability is! I have gobbled up as many shares as my bank account can digest at the moment. LOL
If I had funds enough for 2 million shares, that is what I would possess. Unfortunately such is not the case!!! Gotta live within the means that are available to me.
When PCFG hits it's stride, I may regret that I was unable to buy more at the current price. But, I certainly will not regret that I was able to get as far as I did!
It is all good. It's just a waiting game for now.
Have a good weekend Y'all.
Thanks!
Wow, 66 pages! I guess I will need to set aside a bit for that. If the rain comes, it will be all good. LOL.
Really, this board should give anyone whom may have reason to pause concerning this stock a good level of comfort. There are many here whom give freely of all and any information concerning this company.
People can take what is given and make a valid decision concerning PCFG. If they like what they see, it's all good. If not, they can walk away and feel good about the choice they have made.
I'm sure that I haven't seen that. Sounds like it may be an interesting read. I am off for the weekend and it is supposed to rain 1/2 of the time. Prime opportunity, if someone can post it.
Thanks. I imagine many more than me would be interested to see what it consists of.
I have never heard "The prettier the picture, the worse the investment". But, I would say that whomever said that, hit the nail on the head!
I came across some investment letters that were a couple of years old recently (please don't ask why I had crap that old laying around) and all of those stocks had tanked!
The fact that I have never received any sales pitch from anyone trying to sell me on PCFG (along with the DD and current fundamentals)is the reason that I believe that this is one that I should hold long and strong
Am I correct if I remember that the mine site is about 1200 acres of BLM land with an option of 450 +/- acres of private? I don't have a point of reference as to how large that is in mine site terms, but I don't believe it is viable as a large open pit mine. I believe (though I could easily be wrong) I understand the nature of the site as it is, that is why I referenced the front end loader to the large open pit mining.
I was just making a speculative statement (in a round about way), that it would be awesome if we had a need for such a piece of equipment!! More expedient transport = more processing capacity = more GOLD! Yes?
I would rather see a PCFG video with a front end loader wearing a set of Michelin 60/80R-57 D2-XMINE tires such as the one I built last night!
Front end loaders are so much more efficient at loading the haulers! I guess that only applies to the large Barrick and Newmont type open pit mines though. Don't know that we will ever be at that stage ??????????
Why can't we have volume silimar to KAT#? Obviously I don't want to see our PPS do what they have been doing, but the volume would be nice!
I really, really, really wish I had more powder!!!!!!!!!!! Someday soon this will be the experience of a lifetime!
I am envious of those of you that have been able to load up recently. It is depressing and exhilirating at the same time. To know that I am not able to do what so many of you are doing, but doing everything that I can do to join in on the ride up!
I could not have envisioned a possibility such as this when I started trading just 6 months ago.
It has been a rough couple of weeks here lately, and I hope my enthusiasim is not premature, but can you blame me? The DD and the fundamentals indicate a bright future!
Kudos to all the long, long holders.
Nuf said!
I don't know how many will view this info as credible or worthwhile, but here goes. Larry Edelson (30+ years in the precious metals markets)is short term bearish on gold and expects a short term retracement.
The good news is that he is expecting it to be $1700+ by June with the potential of being as much as 2000.
Personally I think 1700 is potentailly doable with the way "Wacky Bernacke" (did I spell that right?) is throwing money into the economy. We willl have to see what happens beyond that!
I love it! Zing!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Just dumped my last load of powder. It was embarassingly small. But what the hell!
