SSM had some news issued about a week ago:
SSM, NSA Partner To Introduce PRO-CFR® 12 CAL
SSM Industries Inc., Spring City, Tenn. -- a manufacturer of flame-resistant (FR), cut-resistant and thermal fabrics for military, fire and rescue and industrial applications -- and National Safety Apparel (NSA), Cleveland -- a manufacturer of protective apparel for industrial safety applications -- have partnered to introduce a lightweight, high-arc-rated FR cotton fabric for use in protective apparel for the electrical and utility industries.
PRO-CFR® 12 CAL weighs 6.25 ounces per square yard and registers an arc thermal protection value of 12 calories per square centimeter in a single garment layer. The knit fabric is produced at SSM's plant and made by NSA into garments in both T-shirt and Henley styles.
"SSM is proud to align with NSA. Both companies are innovative and dynamic," said Steve Smith, vice president, sales and marketing, SSM. "We are working together to bring PRO-CFR 12 CAL, a cutting-edge fabric option, to the market. It is important for us to work with a garment manufacturer like NSA who shares our vision in the safety industry. Safety protection and comfort have been the goal in creating this flame resistant clothing option."

Ready For Launch!
LANSING, Mich., June 27, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB:KBLB.PK) (the "Company" or "Kraig") announces that the Company's recently opened private laboratory has significantly increased Kraig's ability to generate its proprietary Monster Silk™ production platform silkworms.
The initial focus of the Company's facility is to assist in the commercialization of Kraig's product, Monster Silk™, by significantly ramping up production of the Company's proprietary transgenic silkworms that produce Monster Silk™, a new recombinant spider silk based fiber with potentially broad applications for consumers and industry in the multi-billion dollar marketplace for textiles and performance polymers.
"Our main goal, for the Company's recently opened laboratory, was to rapidly increase our ability to raise our Monster Silk™ silkworms. In the short time it's been operational, we have effectively quadrupled our ability to produce the transgenic silkworms, which produce Monster Silk™," said Company founder and CEO, Kim Thompson.
"We knew that the increase in our laboratory production would be fundamental to the commercialization of Monster Silk™," continued Thompson. "Now that the new laboratory is working as planed, we are looking to exponentially expand our production of Monster Silk™."
(You have to keep raising worms and harvesting/storing more eggs to be able to ramp up your ability to produce silkworms)
The latest round of PR regarding phases was KBLB taking these silkworm eggs out and processing them. Testing how many were hatching, would they be healthy, would they spin, and is what they spin (after a fair amount of time in storage) still Monster Silk quality.
GO KBLB.
What came first, the silkworm or the egg?
Seems that interest for KBLB continues to grow!

"The Company's CEO anticipates traveling to that country and exploring the production possibilities within the next three weeks."

Keep the PRs coming! Bring it on Kim!
Hope everyone is doing well.

IMO this is the exact kind of thing we'll will be seeing soon. The MOU KBLB just signed with SSM industries Inc. is the pre- cursor to this kind of announcement.
Again, just my opinion.

Quote from article:
"We have jointly identified a number of areas where we believe RST technology can significantly enhance the performance characteristics of personal protection apparel," said Scott Hilleary, SSM. "This agreement will enable SSM to pursue these opportunities commercially in addition to its existing business as a leading manufacturer in the US for flame resistant apparel for military, fire and rescue, industrial and automotive racing use."
In my head I'm adding the word Monster Silk or Big Red in place of RST technology.

Welcome New Guy.
Basically their RA either quit or was let go and Kim needs to file some paper work.
Kim has two years before Wyoming makes him re-state his Corporation as a new entity.
If you were involuntarily dissolved for failure to maintain a registered agent, you will also need the Statement of Change by Entity form and a Consent to Appointment by Registered Agent form:
http://www.northwestregisteredagent.com/reinstate-revive-wyoming-corporation.html
The RA filed a letter of resignation with the state in 07/16/12. The amendment that was filed before the resignation letter on 06/10/12 is the date the state marks the administration as "Inactive". Inactive as far as meaning the company has no current RA on file with the state.
Something to watch, yes, but considering this Company's keeping up with SEC filings, Patent Filings, License Agreements with Univ. Of Notre Dame, Wyoming, Sigma Aldrich and now this new MOU with SSM Industries, Kraig Biocraft has plenty of credibility to give some slack on transferring their RA on their business registration in Wyoming.

Here's what entogenetics has been up to,

The funny thing is if you click on the entogenetics tag and go the their site:
http://www.entogenetics.com/
at the bottom they have all these names for their silks with a TM symbol. I can't find any one of their so labeled "TM" names in the USPTO database. They haven't published any findings either that I can find. Yet they have a deal to sell silk to make violin strings and were in Forbes some years ago for Top Ten Breakout Technology Firms?

Yeah, I put it in the ibox Sat night. I also updated the PNAS article graphic that changed source after the new year. Thanks for changing the link underneath it taco. The one I had was the same article but the picture next to it changed to this Januarys PNAS article cover instead of last years. Next is the Fibre to fashion article credit to go up.

I was going to do a bunch of updates yesterday but got hit with a virus that locked my computer up right in the middle. Couple new articles to post and I have to clean up the PNAS article picture that changed source after the new year. FYI the new windows 8 doesn't do safe mode unless you program it to ahead of time.

Nov 14th, Notice Of Approval Of Extension Request
Serial Number: 85144551
Mark: MONSTER SILK(STANDARD CHARACTER MARK)
Owner: Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc.
Extension Request Number: 3
Docket/Reference Number: 1129-0001 KR
Notice of Allowance Date: May 17, 2011
-The USPTO issued a Notice of Allowance on May 17, 2011 for the trademark application identified above. Applicant's THIRD request for Extension of Time to File a Statement of Use has been GRANTED.
Excerpt from KBLB's request for extension:
The applicant has made the following ongoing efforts to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with each of those goods and/or services covered by the extension request: product or service research or development; manufacturing activities; promotional activities
Source:http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=4009:8019ov.1.1
That was fast, the last extension took a month to approve. This one took about a week. I guess technicaly they havent filed thier SOU even though they have an intent to use paralegal assigned to the case. Zenaku's last post with the USPTO rules for extensions is the applicable one.
So this is quiet, yet publicly released information that says that the company has itself declared that one of their ongoing efforts is now manufacturing. Prior to this they just had research, development and promotional activities stated as their ongoing effort.
on·go·ing adjective \
Definition of ONGOING
1a : being actually in process
b : continuing
2: continuously moving forward : growing
Good day all.
GO KBLB
I knew that part, but I had reason to believe they were in this phase of the registration:
Step 9b. Applicant timely files Statement of Use (SOU):
If the applicant is using the mark in commerce on all of the goods/services listed in the NOA, the applicant must submit an SOU and the required fee(s) within 6 months from the date the NOA issued to avoid abandonment. Applicant cannot withdraw the SOU; however, the applicant may file one extension request with the SOU to provide more time to overcome deficiencies in the SOU. No further extension requests may be filed. Approximately 1 month go to step 11.
If you file a SOU the case then gets sent to the Intent to Use paralegal, which seemed to be the case in June.
Jun. 01, 2012 CASE ASSIGNED TO INTENT TO USE PARALEGAL
Step 11. USPTO reviews SOU:
If the minimum filing requirements are met, the SOU is forwarded to the examining attorney. The examining attorney conducts a review of the SOU to determine whether federal law permits registration. The applicant cannot withdraw the SOU and the filing fee(s) will not be refunded, even if the application is later refused registration on legal grounds. Approximately 1 month go to step 12a or step 12b.
GO KBLB.
Either way I think something is brewing.
Nov 9th, KBLB files another SOU Extension with USPTO:
I didn't think you could file a 3rd extension.
We'll see if it's approved or not.
The recent Extension request has a new entry under "ongoing efforts".

BTW, Amsilks current TM status for SPIDERSILK is Suspended as far as I can tell from the USPTO website. Any info to counter will be gladly accepted.

I clipped the document to get down to the nitty gritty.
GENERAL TRADEMARK INFORMATION:

APPLICANT: AMSilk GmbH
CORRESPONDENT’S REFERENCE/DOCKET NO:
VOS.ITU6
CORRESPONDENT E-MAIL ADDRESS:
ckc@slepatents.com
SUSPENSION NOTICE: NO RESPONSE NEEDED
The assigned examining attorney acknowledges receipt of applicant’s response. Through the response, applicant argues against the refusals of the mark under Section 2(d) and 2(e)(1) of the Trademark Act. In addition, applicant has provided information as requested by the prior office action. Further, applicant has proposed amendments to the identification of goods and services, which are not acceptable.
The examining attorney has considered the evidence and arguments but is not persuaded by them. Therefore, the refusal of the mark under Section 2(d) and 2(e)(1) is continued for the reasons noted in the prior office action. In addition, the examining attorney continues the requirement for proper amendment to the identification of goods and services. It is noted that applicant has amended the goods and service to delete any items that were previously refused as beyond the scope of the foreign registration.
--This last part I find comical--
It is also noted that two separate responses were received by the Office from two different attorneys in connection with this matter. As the application indicates that Corey K. Cho, Esquire is applicant’s designated attorney, the examining attorney reviewed and considered the response filed on February 13, 2012 by Corey K. Cho, Esquire only.
(AmSilk has two attorneys sending the USPTO info. Amsilk is in the middle of filing paperwork to address the USPTO who the proper attorney is that should be dealing with the filing., Hilarious that a BIG Company like AmSilk can't get the details of filing with the USPTO correctly, but so far Kim "the one man show" has it down pretty well. I wonder how much Amsilk is paying their legal team.)

Amsilks latest news:
http://www.b3cnewswire.com/20121030782/amsilk-achieves-large-scale-production-validation-for-spidersilkr-and-hires-new-cbo.html
The news announcement/blurb is interesting because it was already known/stated by them, that they could make their goo large scale. It just was really expensive, so this doesn't change that. They also have just (same day as the news release)stated they have welcomed a new CBO. The timing of AmSilk's progress and updates have been amusingly parallel to KBLB's progress.
Only time will tell if KBLB can bring it home.

Yes, as far as I can tell.
In each case you can see below that the paralegal phase typically is a month after the SOU is recorded.
In the 3rd example(Engredea) you can see even prior to final registration(which hasnt happened yet in this case) the SOU is publicly disclosed.
Not all these SOU's are exactly alike because some are service trademarks while others can be product trademarks. The specimens given in the SOUs to satisfy intent to use differ from examples of product labels to website screen shots depending on what is being trademarked.
Here are examples of SOU's:

Just a side note, the examples above for SOUs were chosen completely at random.
KBLB's Current Trademark Status Info with USPTO:
Here's the USPTO timeline page:
http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/process/tm_sec1btimeline.jsp
Step 10. Applicant timely files SOU after requesting extensions: If the applicant is using the mark in commerce on all the goods/services listed in the NOA, the applicant must submit an SOU and the required fee(s) within 6 months from the previous extension to avoid abandonment. Applicant cannot withdraw the SOU; however, the applicant may file one extension request with the SOU to provide more time to overcome deficiencies in the SOU. No further extension requests may be filed. Go to step 11.
Step 11. USPTO reviews SOU: If the minimum filing requirements are met, the SOU is forwarded to the examining attorney. The examining attorney conducts a review of the SOU to determine whether federal law permits registration. The applicant cannot withdraw the SOU and the filing fee(s) will not be refunded, even if the application is later refused registration on legal grounds. Approximately 1 month go to step 12a or step 12b.
So as I read it, no other extensions can be filed at this point. It's been posted by the USPTO that the case has been sent to be reviewed by a paralegal which means an SOU was filed.
USPTO won't divulge the SOU filing until it is approved or denied(and maybe not at all if it's denied).
So at this point we can't see when KBLB filed the SOU or see what KBLB provided as proof of intent to use for any of the names they are trying to trademark.

I put the video up myself a month or so ago. Within a day or so it had 1000 views. A lot of people interested so it seems. Other stock videos have been up for far longer and have not garnered as much attention.

It's the same video from the KBLB Ibox and KBLB's website.

KBLB has 2 months to complete its registration with the USPTO.
http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=85144551&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch
The final extension was approved June 05, 2012. From that point they get 6 months to make sure their SOU cuts the mustard. USPTO has to either deny or pass the mark at that point.
The window is getting smaller. The end of the year is coming up.
"Near term" and "commercialization in 2012" are hinging on these next 3 months.
I'm still holding strong and have added recently.
My thoughts on why to add more shares right now:
Is it worth 3-4cents to see if this biotech can make it to commercialization in the next 3 months as projected by the CEO and knowing all that the company has accomplished thus far?
Thanks everyone for all the links and USEFULL info shared. Keep it up. I think this will be a great next couple months for all that have held true. KBLBs 'Stock Research' Video is in the top 10 most viewed on Ihub. There are a lot of eyes on KBLB waiting for it to pop.

Seems more like the post extremely split hairs, went off topic and totally resisted in any way pointing out what the facts were and instead skated around by judging why some statements were presented at all.
Even more so the continuing post upholds my main sentiment which is the civility in posts/arguments as of late has dissapeared.
I wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavours.

Unless Kim Thompson hacked the Triple 9's website and put his own name on the list there I'll believe their website and his.
Manshoon1, do you even read your own posts lately?
GO KBLB.
I agree with your sentiment on the weak replies.
Thanks for the good feedback.

Comparatively KBLB files its SEC paperwork as neccesary to be transparent. The 'typical' pinksheet thought is generally that a pinksheet doesnt disclose much at all if anything.
KBLB also discloses that it makes no revenue as of yet instead of hiding that fact or not disclosing it as the 'typical pinksheet' would be thought of as doing.
KBLB hasn't falsified or made up any deals for the sake of generating sales numbers to boost pps which is a huge trend in 'typical pinks'.
In fact when KBLB negotiated a deal, both in textile and medical use for licensing with Sigma Aldrich they had to go silent to create the deal and in turn took a big hit on the PPS and shareholder sentiment from the 'sky is falling' group of traders who were put off from the 'silence' of the company. Very opposite of a pinky.
And to expand on that, Kim didn't even have to bring Sigma in at all.
Sit with that for a bit...
KBLB could have went without the PPS hit from the Sigma Deal, he didnt have to let KBLB be inspected and approved by Sigma to work with, he didnt have to try to find a better way to do what they were doing. In fact they could have stretched KBLB a lot longer if they didnt involve Sigma Aldrich.
A 'typical pinky' doesnt really care about moving the company forward or making a profit with an actual commodity. They just want to keep their stock symbol traded as long as they can while they drain large amounts of cash from the business.
Kim could be paying himself more and could have cared less about Sigma with its better quicker tech. He could have not gone through negotiating a licensing deal and lab inspection and kept the SP at a higher level than what occured as a result. Short form -he could have done a lot less work and had a higher PPS, why do it at all?
Answer, because it was better in the LONG TERM for the company.
'Typical pinks' are based on short term logic. Dont take the time to make a deal, fake a deal. Dont wait to have sales, make them up. Dont let investors wain, dont have any news, make something up.
KBLB is not so typical, especially since the CEO is smarter on an IQ test than 99.9% of the population.
I wonder how many Triple 9's actually run a penny stock.
Might be interesting to make a Trip9 portfolio.

Artificial Spider Silk: Wyoming Signatures interview with Randy Lewis
I'm totally at a loss for words. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
You've always been a respectful poster manshoon1 and I'm not going to beat this debate into the ground.
Gotta go for now, have a good day all.
GO KBLB.
I get it.
Here's a counter example,
Does Apple have any experience selling an IPhone 5.
Answer, NO.
and therefore it's impossible to think they could (for the sake of this arugment),
or that selling and marketing previous creations or endevours could be at all relatable because it's not the exact same thing.
Someone should tell Apple they have no business experience before it's too late.
C'mon,
So until he sells Monster silk he has no experience in business?
Only if he signs a license agreement with a newer party does he have licensing experience, the other constructed license agreements with the University of Wyoming, University of Notre Dame and Sigma Aldrich just don't count?
Go ahead, Dispute the autobiography info all you want, I know for sure know Notre Dame let Kim speak at their podium during the Press Conference. Or are the license agreements so far being questioned as to their validity?
I'm not ignoring the context to commercialization, I'm pretty sure the settlements and negotiants with Inellectual Properties and DISTRIBUTION related to COMMERCIALIZATION. It should be understood that if you COMMERCIALIZE SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY HAVE TO DISTRIBUTE IT or else a BIG step is missing in the business.
I think it's somehow being overlooked/dismissed that Distribution rights relate exactly to a commercialization structure.
