.003 hit the line EOD.
PLX - 7.86 (7.88 high) target reached after hours on drug approval. Made out with about 20% gain at 7.45 - was hoping there'd be a bigger pop, but the manipulation was ridiculous. Price was brought down pretty good in pre-market by 1,169 shares. I guess everyone assumed the drug had been CRL'd and price dove to ~5.80 lows.
This may go higher. There's rumor of Pfizer buying them out already. Whatev's. On to the next one!
Agreed.. I get a little sick of the pumping promo, but it is a good way to find the ones that are setting up.
lol like I've said man. No one likes when you kick their puppy.
True! Didn't realize it was nearly a 2 buck target. I just get excited when I see a chart I can draw on. ;P
Chief, your CLDX is looking good today!
I have, and you will too. The odds are stacked against you, but good luck.
Agreed. I feel sorry for anyone duped by those posts.
"Sell in May and Go Away" is about to kick in... Mind your stops and be careful.
Yeeah, I dodged ENER by a few days and a few others by only a day. I remember saying to myself "my turn to get burnt is coming."
Yeeah, biotechs come with their risks. Didn't make sense with the huge volume yesterday. The halt was unexpected and I planned on trimming my position within the first hour today. Tooo late haha
PLX get halted too or is my platform acting up?
edit: I think it's my platform. disregard. :|
RGEN - ahhh this is gonna hurt!
I haven't dug into it yet. Looks like someone is loaded at around $100-$150K, though.
You're dead on. I saw the volume stick (over 1.25M) at the end of the day and was thinking that was a little overdone for positive phase 1 news. At least from what I've seen in the past.
Plausible. Someone, somewhere knowing something?
Ya beat me lol
Weird. By 13 minutes and I didn't see it.
RGEN halted
PLX pushing higher, too.
RGEN - Didn't see the news posted up here. Here ya go:
Repligen Corporation (Nasdaq: RGEN) today announced positive results from a Phase 1 study to evaluate the pharmacokinetic (PK) and safety profile of RG3039, a novel small molecule drug candidate for the potential treatment of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). SMA is a inherited neurodegenerative disease in which symptoms of progressive damage to motor neurons including loss of muscle function typically appear very early in life and often progress to severe physical disability and early loss of life. The Phase 1 trial was a blinded, ascending, single dose study of RG3039 administered to 32 healthy volunteers. The study results demonstrate that RG3039 was well tolerated at all doses administered, with no serious adverse events reported. The data also showed evidence of a dose-related drug response resulting in 90% inhibition of the target enzyme. These outcomes may help to establish appropriate RG3039 dosing regimens for future studies, including potential efficacy studies in SMA patients.
"The safety and PK outcomes from our Phase 1 study of RG3039 are encouraging, and we look forward to initiating the next steps for this drug candidate in alignment with guidance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ," said Walter C. Herlihy , President and Chief Executive Officer of Repligen. "The agency has previously granted Orphan Drug and Fast Track designations to RG3039, in recognition of the unmet medical need that exists for patients with SMA and the urgency to advance a treatment for this devastating disease."
RGEN - Got back in @ 6.70. News released today on Phase one trials of another drug in development.

lol I was saying the first flag isn't as pretty as the sister flag in the middle.
Ahh missed that one. Thanks! Didn't recognize it. Definitely not as pretty as her sisters.
He doesn't have a stake in it. His opinion is based on his past experience with many other OTC stocks. You're acting like he punched your dog in the face.
What platform do you trade with? ThinkorSwim has a pretty good pattern scanner.
I look there often, man. They suck. Usually they show them too late or just not what I was looking for. The way I find them on FinViz is by searching for stocks over 1M volume and I just drag my mouse over'em and see if I can find a winner.
Thanks LT. I agree with ya. I've been head faked plenty of times. I've become a lot more conservative with my entries with your help; I've quit worrying about those few pennies extra.
SEFE - I intended only day trading this one for a small gain today (mainly for fun because I was bored and didn't have any other plays). Anyways, I managed to Sneak in at 2.33 (wasn't there for even a second) and jump out at 2.67. Every time it started dumping, huge buys would come through and hold the price up. It seemed odd that people would be willing to buy 10K-50K@ $2 and some change (that's $20K-$100K) a pop this late in a run. That's what I saw through the Time and Sales. Either people have money to throw around, really suck at trading, or someone was trying to keep the run going. Thoughts, Lowtrade?
Yeah, I stopped reading at Mr. Berk. I got the picture from the first sentence or two. They should have held the PR and let the handle form. That would've got the herd and the TA wienies.
