Walter Wee removes KBLB PR from 'featured items'.
A few days ago, some random profile asked him "how the Spydasilk thing was going?".
Now suddenly the PR about it is gone from his "featured items" on his profile.
Now why would he do that?
Oh well.

Kings new site up, no mention of KBLB.

Had a fashion show and it has nothing to do with spider silk.
‘Fashion in the Forest’ will feature fashion and designs made up solely of recycled plastic bottles.

Will investors now ask Kim some hardball questions about the future of the KBLB in light of this?
I doubt it, shiny Air Force nickle and all.

I wouldn't parse the "Fast Facts".
The actual April GAO release from which the "Fast Facts" are derived:

about integrated spider DNA into silkworm DNA
The article was not singularly about it.
The article mentioned it as an example of a platform.
They used it as an example probably because it's simplest to understand to most readers.
If only it could ever be deployed successfully.
Oh well...
$KBLB
Don't expect much traction here for that.
Weird, considering all the implications of heavy investment I've heard about.
A group letter via registered mail to the CEO asking these questions would be interesting.
The response would be a ream of word salad, misdirection, excuses and shiny nickles to stare at, IMO.

KBLB's Chimeric "silk" platform....
...contributes zero (0) percent (%) of anything to anything.
Except for lining Kim's pockets with lucre.

Wow.
It went from a "solar energy industry" to "solar is still is not one of the major contributors" in 2 seconds flat.
One thing I do know.
Those goal posts aren't made of spider silk.
And will probably never be.

I use the $40M amount as intended by Kim.
The sticky bits are the "firm commitment to purchase" and such specific verbiage.
Not to exclude the entirety of the agreement, of course.

I'm hoping the company
Releases a video of Kim putting the application in the mailbox with a bunch of
flashbulbs going. Maybe an antsy mailman waiting next to it.
This could help cheer up demoralized investors and give a smidgen of confidence.

Removed: $250 payment statement.

Silkworm production not so "sustainable' for humans
A silk farm will use up to 1,000 metric tons of water to produce one metric ton of silk, mostly to soften the cocoons for reeling the silk.
Silk production is also very energy and water-intensive. Boiling the water to cook the cocoons takes enormous amounts of energy and water. Temperature control in silkworm rearing facilities, transportation, dying and processing are other steps in the production process that require large amounts of energy.
Oh,well.
$KBLB
Well put.
It would have said:
“announces today that it is preparing a response to a request from the United States Air Force“
But they can't say that because that didn't happen.
No amount of pretty words, poetry or CEO-ish word salad can refute this.
Pivoting away from Vietnam and now this.
Let's hope innocent investors are not harmed by this foolishness.
$KBLB
Pivoting away from Vietnam.

As if there was a request specific to KBLB.
Pretty much fake news.

AMSilk Secures Additional €25M, Totalling €54M for Bioproduced Silk Protein Materials
https://vegconomist.com/materials/amsilk-e25m-bioproduced-silk-protein-materials/
AMSilk GmbH, a German provider of biofabricated silk protein materials, has announced a successful €25 million raise in its extended Series C round, bringing the total to €54 million.
The additional funding was led by previous investor ATHOS (AT Newtec), with contributions from Novo Holdings, Cargill, and MIG Capital.
“This will now create the capabilities […] to create sustainable products in harmony with nature”
The Munich-based biotech leverages its technology platform, based on vegan silk proteins, to create 100% fully biodegradable and microplastic-free silk materials that will contribute to building a zero-waste society. They can be used in multiple applications, from powders, hydrogels, textile fibres, aerospace applications, and coatings for the medical, automotive, and textile industries.

Expanding commercial operations
“We are delighted to have closed this successful financing round which validates our technology and underpins our ongoing development as we scale-up and expand our commercial operations. We will invest in technology to ensure that we continue to provide innovative, attractive solutions to our customers, and improve the commercial supply of our products to expand our business,” said Ulrich Scherbel, CEO of AMSilk.
The funding will enable the company to accelerate its industrial scale-up and expand its commercial projects worldwide to meet the increasing demand for its innovative materials.

Fully biodegradable materials
AMSilk claims to be the world’s first industrial supplier of biofabricated silk protein materials offering an environmentally friendly product portfolio and manufacturing process. According to the silk protein developer, most industries rely on fossil carbon materials associated with microplastic pollution, which poses a significant environmental threat.
Born with sustainability at its core, AMSilk’s unique biofabrication reprograms microorganisms to enable them to produce silk proteins from plant-based renewable raw materials without involving any farming processes. Its materials are fully biodegradable under aerobic and marine conditions.

Upscaling AMSilk
Since a successful €29 million financing round in 2021, the biotech has relocated to Campus Neuried in Munich to produce vegan silk proteins at an industrial scale. To date, the company has also partnered with world-leading brands from different industries.
In January 2022, it announced a collaboration with Mercedes-Benz to make sustainable car door pulls using its certified vegan fabric. And in February, the biotech announced a collaboration with BRAIN Biotech to develop high-performance vegan fibres for textiles and other applications. The company is also known for collaborating with Adidas for its synthetic, biodegradable spider silk shoes.
Wolfgang Colberg, chairman of the advisory board, added: “This fundraising is a significant step to accelerate the upscaling of AMSilk. This will now create the capabilities to produce in large volumes and meet the high demand growth from our customers, enabling them to create sustainable products in harmony with nature.”
$KBLB
Agreed, didn't see that on 47.
I get a few pages in and my eyes cross.
Kinda begs why is KBLB paying?
Wasn't that the point of the $250K payment from Kings?
$KBLB
On inventory.
In the last quarterly, there is the increase of deposits as $105,060.
I couldn't find any deposit references prior to this Q. I'm thinking the $105K is part of the $250K
from Kings and the remainder. expressed as inventory in the 10K, is cocoons bought from the worm farmers.
This price of inventory, I think, may be a semi-arbitrary value; a value Kim had to put on it which could derived from the price per ton of mundane silk cocoons in the Vietnam market, being about $7250 a ton.
Inventory/Raw materials line items is something I've been looking for for years.
So there it is...
$KBLB
More of the filing shell game.
Luckily discerning, informed and diligent investors are no longer fooled by this CEO.
I for one appreciate the careful, honest analysis.
Caveat emptor.
$KBLB
Where'd everybody go?
M the Mostly Invisible last seen on his Twitter re-tweeting his approval
of a notorious sub-penny share selling sham.
Not a good look, eh Kim?
Kings Group's web-page has now been suspended for over a month.
Out of Business?
Spydsilk web page COMING SOON for over a year.
Expect these concerns to be swept aside in favor of pie-in-the-sky maybe-isms with a side dish of CEO-speak word salad.
$KBLB
Those getting the prospectus also...
...would be disappointed to know the legal filings were just word salad, inept omissions and additions and sarcasm.
Gotta admit, kinda reeks of fraud.
No,No!! Ignore the inconvenient parts of the filings!! They're old, or, the same, or different, or, sarcasm garnished with word salad!...leave Kim alone it's not his fault he's a super-genius CEO!!!
$KBLB
A single brokerage firm is considered one shareholder.
No proof any the 33 are brokerages.
Simple as.
$KBLB
So, Kim just tosses some word salad and files it?
Then again in the QB cert there are 10,000+ shareholders
In the 10K?
33
That is a sad notion.
