Peru is a funny place. It never rains on the coast. Lima had all mud roofs on standard masonry houses. One year it rained and that was it, complete disaster.
T are you on those dunes now? Surf season should be just starting in the South right about now. Have'nt been back down there since 1973. Have an old friend I need to look up if I go back.
I bought forum and strateco the last time you had the cpb chart up. When you look at the land package, it did'nt make sense that it was stuck. Everybody moves into the same sector at the same time. The only way I can see to win is to already be in before they all pile on. Unless of course you can pull one off like that KXL trade yesterday. Timing the descent of the knife is a tricky operation. Is T in Peru right now?
Here's another one I can't figure out. Could'nt figure out wht CBP was stuck. Look at it today. RSC started to move two days earlier and today is U308 day as it turned out.
You are too hard on your self. Those two were ridiculous. I know you were on BCF but who could tell it was going to pull that. Check CPN and the resource estimate on Colvin and Rovina. I got in early but it could be a legit long term speculation.
Good tip. I'm puting that down for future reference. I wish E trade US would link with Canada more effectively. Executions are lousy. I'm going to be forced back to Penntrade for any small company transactions.
Saavy trading and a nicely timed exit. I would expect it to try to fill the gap and get my self squished.
Who's holding in here? Price looks to be establishing a high level consolidation on very light volume. The flippers are'nt any where near it.
Unfortunately I'm not in MMC but thought it was quite a move. Will look at riverstone but all my WA stuff has me mired right now. I still like the Helio story though. The one that has me kicking my self right now is SLT. One of the best land packages in the buisness here to fore ignored. ALZ in the same situation but Aus seems to lag by years if not decades.
You might want to check out MMC.V for a moon shot out of a pile of phosphate. The more I look into CLZ, the more I like it. We're supposed to be in a correction here, no buying till August.
Beautiful picture. The two year time frame you mention seems realistic unless some public participation in the sector ala 2003 returns. That's going to lift all these forgotten entities. Probably even DROOY.
Check Kaiser's ownership blog for a rundown on the company. You can access this without a subcription. It is also a rather entertaining dialogue. Kind of lets you see inside the mind of the guy. Speaking of Rimfire, check SIR today. Should have pulled the trigger on that one.
Pediment is going to be all the rage with the Coffins behind it. They can't make the recommendation because of their work on some of the properties but they do write it up in a descriptive fashion. Seems like it's beginning to bore some of the entrants at this point. Worth watching.
We got to go over to Quebec and knock on their forehead to find out whats really going on. This is the kind of stock that can explode with nobody on board. You see IEC? I had a feeling about that one and did'nt act.
Don't these guys also have a fair sized claim bordering Mulatos to the north? They're not easy to figure out. As soon as Grayd took off there was a big push in the price that has since abated. Stock boards show a buch of vocal disgruntled share holders. I'd still like to know more on their claims.
You know for me Rimfire is out of range now. I'm trying to pin down some drill prospects. Helio is kind of a fascinating out fit. I'd like to surf some of that area and may get a chance comming up. Looking at some Athabaca stuff at the moment.
Have not seen it before. The chart looks like it's making a sustainable move rather than the typical parabolic shot from Jan 1. It's amazing how many of these things are going straight up as of the same date. Almost like every one were telling them selves that 06 was the year for redemption. Not that I mind the straight up rise if I'm already in when it occurs.
Nice one. Question is, is it moving on it's oil and gas assets or on Universal Wing?
My favorite stock.
Ed, You've probably already seen it but TSL just posted a great PDAC wrap up on the SI Woodshed thread. I don't know if he did all this himself. It was certainly a lot of work and a good piece of journalism.
That's mysterious. On a side note I wonder if you might pm me with a private communications link to discuss a pp I've run across. As we've found out, these can be somewhat tricky.
Good coverage today. I've been looking at Straeco and Forum. This could be better. Pershimco is interesting in here as well. Not much info available, no following, you need to speak french. Could be the next mover after the doldrums.
What's the relationship between Ballad and the Grosso group? Are they something like a satellite entity? I've never seen as much irrational venom directed against any one in the sector as Grosso. Even been personally attacked by web promoters for being an Ima shareholder. Kind of makes you wonder never having met the guy.
They have to spend to secure federali escort into the areas they need to spot grab samples and do preliminary geophysics. Once they plan to drill, it becomes more intensive. They probably need a private squad licesensed to carry in Mexico. Maybe give this one a pass for now.
Those two charts are insrtuctive. Looking at SRY thru the same lense we probably get a similar picture.
And why has the market gone ape in one day on this news item? I bought some early friday, by monday it had doubled and the stock board participants were comming unhinged. Seems all they are going to do is join the ranks of small producers that generally take nothing but abuse from the market.
Thanks for your perspective on the region. I probably would have picked Senegal as the least hassle. As far as rough surf and under tow, those are good signs, something you look for as a starting point. Actual locations can then be scouted but the primary requirement is a lot of swell, the more the better.
Same way I feel about though I'm not likely to take the time to phrase it so eloquently. This is one that will no doubt win in spite of management. After having been taken out of a fair sized postion in Guinor, I have almost nothing in the region. Seems like you must reside somewhere near by. I've always wanted to check the surf on that coast but I know it's a tough enviornment. How would you rate the stability of Senegal at the moment?
I saw a note on Burma. Have you been there recently?
Heard any thing on the problem with the horticulturalists in the vicinity of elephant eight? This one is just my style, should take a decade to mature.
Thanks for that link. I never would have found it. I've heard about this sand boarding but never seen it. Too much homus bubis surfing worldwide any way. Every extensive trip these days seems more and more like a fools erand once embroiled in it. Good for an exercise program combined with soft sand running if you can do it as part of your day. Other wise it's all over done.
Heads up on Zenda now TRR.v, there should be some drill results in the offing. Nobody seems very anxious to sell.
Damn fine company that RFM. I was sure you owned it and then sold. I don't know if it's patience or bull headedness, the later I suspect. I was just surfing down in mining country in Sinaloa. The heat was absolutely debilitating. Good quality southern hemi swell gets cut to bits by any tropical depression coming out of the gulf of Tehuantepec. They do get a lot of swell however. For my next stunt I may do El Salvador.
Must have been 2004. Did'nt move until CC picked it up off SI. Every body can give ralph credit. Are you following SIR? Nothing in the public realm being said and there are those ominous volume markers. I'm going to check this one out.
After declaring a dividend on the Newmont deal, I thought the Ntotoroso was written off. According to this, I was mistaken. Kept my shares waiting for the drill project with CGP. Can't find any thing bad to say about a group that pays you a cash dividend equal to twice your share purchase price and just keeps on going albeit rather slowly. Beats BGI. I had equal hopes for that one. Russ Winter used to pound on Simoneux without mercy. Where is Russ today?
New symbol TRR. I still call it Zenda. No float. Trading is too thin. If it blows up I'll still call it Zenda. I still call WTZ Western Copper. I'm entitled as an early entrant who never sold a share. Know how I can get a nasdaq symbol for Vior?
Don't know why I waited this long but I just bought some Tinka. I used to follow it when ralph on SI was talking about it. That was about .15 if I recall correctly. Then Cormier started to cover it and it blew way up. Just pissed me off so I dropped it. reviewing the drill prospects now I have to agree with you that it looks worth a shot. On a side note it looks like Zenda will have some results out soon and there is no stock for sale. I'm going to let Tackler know too as he is talking about a certain geo we all know.
Somethings up. It never fails to amaze me how some things get by completely under the radar of every body watching. Check OSK. That first big volume push signaled it.
There's another one of those big volume bars. Have a look at the two on EXM. The one on Halo still has'nt produced any price movement.
