ITF actually mounting a moderate volume advance. Considering the bullish news on PFN lately, this is probably just catch up, but I'll take it.
I'd have to agree, this thing scares me to death and I read this stuff all the time. K wave winter. Time to cash out and head to Nicaragua.
That research report by Desjardins so kindly posted by amarksp was rather optomistic. In general, are these guys realistic in their price projections on mining issues or do they simply promote their large block purchases?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I see this latest news release taking the stock price lower, possibly to that .50 level or to the top of the breakaway gap. Can dilution be postive?
Nice, talk about fingertip control in the short term.
Indeed, thanks Michael for these great chart studies.
Thanks for another well considered analysis. Great work. That was a well timed entry on CKG yesterday. Embry shot the entry points on a few issues yesterday. Question is, how strong are these new positions?
How bout that chart? A flag, a pole, repeat, repeat, I'm almost getting nervous. PGM prospects are at the forefront and now PFN garners attention with the true Rodney Dangerfield of the group, ITF dribbling into a triagle with nothing left at the apex. This turkey has got to move eventually.
Well Eva, what do you think of that gap? Going to fill - maybe? Here on the west coast we have big west swell with no shape.
Outstanding series of charts. Thanks
I'd also like to get an entry on GLR. Seems like every one is watching that gap so as to avoid an initial sting. What are the chances?
Nice entry at US .53 Another value buy for a significant infered deposit. This is one to put away and look at in three years.
58 holes with 27 to go is a lot of drilling. When the figure 4000 meters total is considered, it seems the depth is shallow on average. Cost of drilling must be significantly lower in Ghana. With these guys track record, I'm pleased to hold my shares for the long term.
Tom,was that actually Don Wolanchuk over on SI? Kind of unbelievable if it was.
Definitely not fair, but some out there might like to know the name and contact data of the analyst so that they might consider subscribing. You seem like an intelligent fellow and if you subscribe, some of us might want to as well.
Funny how you can move the price like that with 29k volume and ARQ barely moves on 1.8 million.
Tom,
I saw this on Stockhouse and was immediately impressed by the size and location of the stake. I'm a believer in this greenstone belt as I still have all of my CBR. Can we agree to research this and bring our findings to the table here? I;m going to try to get Bishop's take on this from a friend that just subscribed.
Freidland's launch of Afmin is nearing the horizon. The last run up has undoubtedly been related to anticipation of this event. Todays volume is obviously due to something more specific, possibly a buy in on the open market by someone connected to the Afmin deal. What gets me is how they manage to keep the price capped on this size trade unless it's aimply a prearranged cross.
George, perhaps one more stop at 60 for RYTPX? This one is going to look like the most telegraphed punch in recent memory.
Dave, I don't think it's going up for no reason. The Committee Bay Greenstone belt may turn out to be one of the best producing areas in the Americas. It's a pity that the company had to strike the deal they did with Gold Fields but it pretty much guarnatees funding into a producing entity. I'm hanging on to this one like a pit bull.
Shooting the long bow is another good comparison. No sights, pull back to anchor and release. The brain calculates the shot trajectory below the level of discursive thought and executes on it's own. That and standard Zen practice. I highly recommend the shooting if you have room to set up a straw bale.
Spot on technical study. Actually this is the one I'm going to frame or more accueately, continue to monitor.
Does anyone have an opinion on Interactive Brokers or Penntrade for US accounts trading Canadian stocks?
The management information circular has just arrived by mail to the US. If one has not sold their MOY shares up to this point, what do you feel would be the best strategy? Will there be a remaining exploration company worth owning at the conclusion of the distribution?
I fully agree with your asessment, it's just pinpointing those bottoms for the next run up that seems to elude me. That and how to bring back my anerobic burst strength year after year. It just keeps getting tougher.
Whadaya think Michael? Time for some cautious liquidation? You look precient recently especially considering todays move in NPG. I've always wanted that kind of forsight.
It's not really a fair comparison but the INM chart has a similar formation to that of Committe Bay before it took off. Claude's recent ability to feature stocks that triple is uncanny.
GOZ, that's one large fill you got there. Is there a fundamental basis for your reasoning in an entry at this point?
I almost hate to mention it because I know a lot of people sold on Claude's recommendation but Committe Bay Resouces has broken out on decent volume. There appears to be a growing perception that the quality of the deposit is comparitively undervalued. Even though the far north latitude is going to preclude further work this year, the market is assigning a higher price to the Shares.
tourqsters, that's a good one. This thread is getting better and better. Look at the calkin money flow on that chart. Don't think I've seen anoyher one like it. Be sure to let us know when you see a buy point in GBG.
Congratulations on this thread. Today's total posts exceed Zeev's. It seems as though you've done it again and we all gain by the free exchange of ideas. Bravo.
Question is, how do you actually buy this stock? From within the US, buy orders are not being recognized. Is this really a matter of no shares for sale or is something else going on?
Is that 45 million ounce deposit verifiable? If so, between Western Areas and Gold field's Kloof, we have large enough deposits to dwarf everything discovered to date in the Americas and Africa. It's just a long way down.
Jr, Thanks for posting these Russell excerpts. Tends to smooth out the day to day noise with some common sense.
Nope, I'm a lifelong surf addict. Got tubed in 1971 and that was about it. Thinking of comming out to the east coast to try to buy a Morgan outisland, bring it back to LA for a refit.
Eva, when the winds up, where do you go out?
It's astounding that valuation differences of this magnitude can occur in a market. Must be that magic Amex listing. Could Wall street be falling in love with Wheaton?
Russ, seems like another one from the old days is comming back strong. ARQ, shows no sign of backing off a relentless advance. Other than the PGM price rise and rumor of a Freidland IPO in the sector, I can't find the reason for the run up.
Russ, if you're over here answering questions, I 've got one I'd like to ask. In the aftermath of your liquidation, is there any ting that you are keeping as a speculation on drill results yet to come? Ok one more, what about MAN.to?
There's no doubt about it. Question is which stocks? Have you looked at PXD?
