I'm with ou Patsy. AFBR trades a lot like some of our fond ones from the past like COOX and COBB. Only 15500 in volume toda, and it was up from 2.50 to 4.00. It sure is worth taking a look at some of these splitters. Sure does seem like the true float on this one is much smaller than indicated. Not a bad 3 month chart either. Very small but consistent volume.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=AFBR.OB&d=3m
Looks like we might have another split winner after dealing with horrific times with WTPE/SKGV and hum hum fo RMOO.
Bought AFBR @ 3 3/8. Looks to be the winner between it an HBOA IMO. Moving much like COOX and COBB etc. Up 1 1/4 on only 13K shares. I'm definitely in on this one.
AFBR looks like it has been running of late. The float is supposedly 1.2M, although the price action makes it appear less. Not sure whether to dig in on these or not.
Pats, did you see that there is now an MM on the ask for EXTS? Now bidding 3/16, asking 20!!! That's a big laugh. I'm surely going to buy that. The SEC sure seems inept these das to allow this kind of crap to continue.
Not me. There is certainl no sure thing anymore. Sucky and ucky are the words d'jour!
Hey Patsy. Been busy today. I see HRCK, not letting anone buy. These MMs should die! I sold 1/2 of my RMOO today an will let the rest ride. I don't trust that insiders aren't selling, so I figured this wa I'd be safe. If things look good tomorrow, then I'll buy some in the morning post split.
I have HYER on my watch list as a pick from a friend of mine. The problem is that there are so many of these fuel stocks. it sounds like a great idea, but there are many other stocks that have the same potential. This is just one of them. The stock also needs more Mms on it. The spreads are horrific at times.
We are thinking alike though. I've looked at this one as well.
I'm posting this on this forum, because I know most of you here. Does anyone else other I think there are insiders selling RMOO? I'm thinking of exiting pre split. It looks like that is what is happening. This ain't going no where if that is what is happening. An example, there was an 8000 share sell @ 1.50 a few minutes ago. Who in their right mind would sell that much pre split?
This one really has me baffled.
Hey H&I. Glad you are here. These small float OTCBB splitters have been one of the diamonds in the rough for making some money in this not so good market. See ya on the boards.
BB
Hey Knot. Looks like you got all the info. for COBB and ESYG. Thanks for posting them. As you can see the pre split floats were very low which seems to have a lot to do with how well the splits do ROI wise. I had forgotten what COBB's previous ticker was pre split. Now I remember after you posted it!
Looks like your forum is picking up a few new members.
Hi knot. ESYG was RCVR (Russiancaviar.com) prior to its split. It also didn't trade much prior to the split, but these no traders pre split have been huge once as well and worth mentioning IMO. It started out @ about .25 the day prior to the split and ended up near 1.50 COB the day prior to the split. Opened up the next day at around .20 and within 10 days was pushing over $3 post split. (This IMO shows what can occur post split where actually in many cases, the largest gains are made)
COBB, same story. Traded about 46K shares the day prior to the split, but it started @ around 2 and ended the day at about 6. Opened the next day at around .30, and actually drifted down to about .25 the first day. Within 3 days, it was $1 post split.
I didn't think COOX traded much pre split either (about 3 days) Each of these did not really begin trading until the split announcement. With COBB and ESYG, those announcements were the day prior.
I like your summary. For newbies, whenever needing examples, there they are rather than having to explain them time and time again.
Big Mike: He's knot_4_sail on RB.
You might want to also include COBB (30:1) and ESYG (10:1) These both did extremely well pre and post split.
RMOO came back very nicely. Was really begin to doubt myself on this one. Remember, back a month or so ago, this puppy moved up $1 on only 19K shares. Today, it began trading like it used to. The previous 3 days or so, saw a lot of selling even at what I would consider low levels. Hope you were able to add more Patsy, since I know you bought some in the .90's then it took off before you get more as you wanted.
It's now primed and set. With any luck, it could be the best split play yet. IMO, ESYG, has had the best return of all so far. That's the one to beat. Over $3 post split would be phenominal. If ESYG did it, do can RMOO, and perhaps better since more are aware of them now.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Patsy: Remember good ole AMJY that I gave you a few weeks back. It's finally breaking out. They were doing the debenture conversion to equity like some are doing, and that was holding it back. it appears that this is complete, and now it is running. Worth the wait IMO. Moving very well, and should break .02 tomorrow IMO easily.
There are others like MFLE, TMGS, and SHCC, that should breakout as well once their conversions are complete. For the patient, it is certainly a means of accumulating a lot of cheap shares.
I'm staying away from BRLZ for the time being. A 1:12 reverse split along with a little dilution with the deal an the fact that it is just an LOI at this point. As you know Patsy, they had another suitor an it fell through. Wouldn't trust them until the deal is signed in blood!!
Hope you are well and got your house in order.
Hi all. Have been accumulating LBMT for the last few days. Looks like some others have found it today. Volume always comes prior to a big run. Don't remember this one ever having this kind of volume. Over 1M traded so far. Only 17M in the float. Sensational earnings are expected to be out soon. Current market cap is still only 1.4 million. Very little downside. Moves well with some volume as well.
Good luck Patsy. Life gets hectic at times. hopefully, you'll make money while the carpet is being laid.
Good luck to all on SKGV. I hope it works out. I sold about 4 days ago at a loss, because I just felt like there was something fishy going on. A PR would come out, it would go up 1/2 a cent, then end the day down. Makes no sense. Luckily, everything else is doing well, and RMOO is going to do extremely well. (Already has, but still has lots of upside) It's split isn't until 2/15, so IMO, it could be $4 pre split.
Have a great weekend to all.
MFLE is going to eventually run. I loaded up this past week. They like several others, have been doing debenture to equity conversions, which in general, makes it more difficult for a stock to run since there is added supply. I don't remember exactly how much was converted, but it has been ongoing for several months, and I believe that it has got to be close to be complete. Once this is done, MFLE will move much more quickly. I'm loaded up and ready for it once it does pop.
OK, I'm confused about JABI. The stock split wasn't on today's list, yet the PR states that the split is supposed to occur at COB today. What's up with that?

Got some more JABI today at the open @ .13. It's now .19 on the ask. Not much buying right now because of the spread. I might buy another 5000 or so, so that the sprea will narrow. I hate it when the MMs do this.
IMO, JABI will be one of the first split plays less than 10:1 that does well. My belief, is the float in an dof itself determines whether or not to play a split or not. JABI's float is below the 1 million threshold that I use.
I took a chance since it didn't meet my 10:1 minimum ratio, but it appears that it is going to do well.
Hope your order went through Larry.
Hated to have to do it, but there are many other opportunities right now. This seemed like it was a POS from the get go. Lesson learned. If it doesn't move pre split, it probably won't move post split.
RMOO is oing wonderfully, and IMO will be the best play yet. It's about to break $2 right now and its all upsie here. Had some profit taking over the past week, but they are gone now.
Hated to have to do it, but there are many other opportunities right now. This seemed like it was a POS from the get go. Lesson learned. If it doesn't move pre split, it probably won't move post split.
Sold all of my SKGV today in the mid .03's. It's a loss, but I just don't feel like it is going up anytime soon. The money could be used elsewhere. Not a pretty sight right now on that one.
Own bunches of RMOO, an it is oing very well, so IMO it will make up for the losses on SKGV.
Well, JABI did pretty well today. It is only 3:1, but I felt like this one would play differently than other < 10:1 plays and I was right. I got in @ .08, and it closed @ .10 x .13. IMO, will open nicely and could be a runner tomorrow. Keep it on your watch list. This makes me believe that float is the main criteria to look at when determining splits to play and to stay away from.
Anyone get any of this? I'm glad I did now.

haven't heard anything, but it has been trading like crazy. The volume has been huge. These scumbucket MMs see a few sells, and knock the wind out of everything. Down almost 50% on 15% of hte volume from the previous 2 days. Makes no sense.
I think they sold as well. If I have time later, I'll dig through the old WTPE filings. I seem to remember that. Thank God I have some good winners to help flush out SKGV. This one is becoming a big POS! (sorry for the profanity, but I feel like we've all been had on this)
Agreed. Something has been stinking on this one since the get go. All the buying with no move pointed to some type of dilution and now we see it. Not good at all, but I also have quite a bit in this. Very dissapointing.
OKOK is actually a shell as far as I know. Doesn't have a lot of value beyond where it is, since its O/S is realitely high. But, it is at its lows, and it will pop IMO. Would be good for a short term bounce. Won't go wrong at these levels.
Hi profit: I have been very disappointed with IFTP. Earlier in the year, it was going to be my big stock of the year. Look at the volume today an the thing still doesn't budge. I don't trust IFTP or its management. They continue to compare their business model to DFXI, but the one major difference is the number of shares. And that is a huge difference.
It seems like whenever there is good news, there is something behind it that they aren't telling you. Usually about the fact that they have to issue yet more shares in order to acquire something. What is the point in an acquisition, if it deflates stockholder equity?
I'm staying clear of it. There are so many more that are moving on the OTCBB and quite honestly will make you much more profit.
Just like NRES. Everyone keeps touting a 3:1 split. Why would a company do a 3:1 split on a .015 stock? (the price it was at when it was announced) Trillions of shares traded, and where is it? .027. Been there for many weeks now and it seems like the price isn't going to budge before the split.
Why are people buying these types when there are so many others that have great volume and are moving.
If people make money off of IFTP, good for them, but I bet I can make more with the ones I'm in.
The OTCBB is about timing of entry more than anything. In many situations, fundamentals mean little.
JMHO!
Neither of the forward splits announce today are trading. Really don't understand the point in that!
Bought UFSI. Very good news out. near its 52 week lows.

Bought TTRIF on Friday at .0175. Looks like it bottomed. Now .022 x .0225. Has a way of running.
Welcome back Patsy. The flu shot can have bad results on some. My mom had flu symptoms for 4 weeks following receiving her shot.! She said she would have been better without it. I guess it affects everyone in different ways.
Volume is surely coming back into the OTCBB for sure. I am loaded up on extremely beaten down pennies with good fundamentals. Some have popped, some will soon pop, and all will eventaully pop IMO with enough volume.
Most of them I am accumulating and holding.
I also got some MJXC. Looks good at these levels. Volume was huge.
Patsy, I had the stomach bug a few weeks back, and it wasn't fun. Rest up, and get better. We miss you!
I cannot believe DVDT today. I bought @ .02 a few weeks ago, and have held. Right now it is .095 x .097. Sold 1/4 at around .09 and will let the rest ride. Has a lot of momentum behind it. Looks to go higher.
I've made out pretty well this week. Haven't seen my portfolio make this much gain in quite some time.
COTF: .017x.02: You won't see a Level II more poised for a run. Used to be Zebramart an they changed their name to focus on communications.
here is the PR
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/001116/ny_zebrama_2.html
RMOO: Some profit taking today. I guess that was expected. I bought a little more @ 2 1/2. Profit taking is over and it's moving back up again. 2 3/8 x 2 1/2. I wouldn't even chance taking profits on this one!
Would you believe I bought ICHC at .044 a few weeks back? 2 big PRs out the last 2 days is why it is running. Sold a little this morning for profit taking, and will let the rest ride.
What a ride it has been so far.!
