Hope you're enjoying your new Moped; thought maybe you'd got incarcerated and could not make bail with all your watered down shares. Have been doing a bit of calculation with the available numbers. Assuming that they are processing 2,800 tons/day and that the recovery rate is .4 gr/ton which is 25.81 oz per day. Their gross per day is $41,290.32 with gold @ $1,600.00 per oz. If you factor in a cost of $600.00 per oz, their net would be $25,806.45 per day. With production starting on July 13, that gives them 13 working days in July. Multiplying the daily gross and net by 13 you come up with July totals of: $536,774.14 gross and $335,488.87 net. Not bad for a watered down douche bag company. If you apply the same numbers to monthly and yearly totals you get: $995,391.71/mo and $11,994,700.46/yr gross and $622,119.82/mo and $7,465,437.79/yr net. That works out to roughly $.01 per share. If they start working 24/7 their net goes up to $22,396,313.36 and $.03 per share. If they install the new bags these numbers increase by at least a factor of three, so you're looking at $67,188,940.09 net/yr and $.09 per share. If you multiply the
Warren, remember your first posts on this board. It took you a while to come around and become a valued member on this board. Give the kid a break, he might come around too. Deja vu all over again. If anyone needs to read the TOS it's him, but that's up to the moderators. As my sainted great grandmother used to say, "Sit on the stove--sit on the blister."
What happened to you last night; post #55725 sounded almost positive. You've been staying up too late. Where were you today? We needed your positive outlook. Glad to see you're back to your old self--I was worried when you didn't show up this morning. No need to reply, I've only got 2 posts left after this one.
Ok, at the risk of public ridicule, what's a "grizzley" and 350 of what?
The last couple of days have been pretty rough for the longs on this board, hence the feeding frenzy around your posts. Welcome aboard. I've found that if you have questions and ask them in a civil way, this board will give you more than adequate guidance to the relevant dd. There have been a lot of new posters with less than stellar motives on this board recently; perhaps, we mistook you for one of them. My platoon Gunnery Sergeant used to tell me not to let my alligator mouth overload my humming bird butt. Tone the posts down and you'll find that most on this board will be quite helpful.
Maybe he sold on the dip and can't afford bail.
Just checked your posting history and your listed stocks. You usually show up when the stock tanks. Like now and the last time you did this was around April 1. Nothing in between. Your share cost is listed as $.053. Bottom feeding?
From Wikipedia:
"A bear raid is a type of stock market strategy, where a trader (or group of traders) attempts to force down the price of a stock to cover a short position. The name is derived from the common use of 'bear' or bearish in the language of Market sentiment to reflect the idea that investors expect downward price movement.
A bear raid can be done by spreading negative rumors about the target firm, which puts downward pressure on the share price. This may be a form of securities fraud. Alternatively, traders could take on large short positions themselves, with the large volume of selling ideally causing the price to fall, making the strategy self perpetuating."
Considering the action the last couple of days, does this sound familiar?
Why not? The Red Sox finally made it.
Miracles can happen. Look at Robo's last post #55725, he actually made a modicum of sense. He sounded almost serious.
Trivia question from Mike Royco's annual Cubbies quiz; "What did the fans throw to Hank Sauer from the left field bleachers?"
Lots of PCFG Sybdrome going on here today. Being a lifelong Cubs fan, there's always tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, ad infinitum. I'm surprised that someone hasn't come up with the scenario that they've salted the mine like they used to do in the Nineteenth Century. I can just see Mitch with a nugget loaded double barreled shotgun blasting away at an ore pile.
No Robo this morning--bad sign.
If you look at the trading from Mar 29th to around April 4th of this year, I think you'll see a similar pattern. This seems to be a bear raid where they're trying to shake loose weak shares to sell at a profit around the 15th of August. Keep the faith.
Make sure he has a camera and he takes pictures to satisfy the doubting Thomases. ;)
As usual, an inciteful post. Thanks. The PR stating that they have shipped some gold to the smelter was a subtle clue that their initial recovery rate was at least as good if not better than expected. If the recovery rate was poor or there had been some snag in production, why post it in the first place? As for the chartists, although useful they certainly don't show the whole picture (sorry about that Foxwood). The fundamentals will overcome a chart every day. Personally I trust solid dd, and if all else fails I'll consult my Magic Eightball :).
Congratulations, you're now officially accepted as a bona fide member of this board since Robo is giving you advice. You'll come to love this board over time. The DD is very good and the character interaction is fascinating. I got in this last October and have averaged down since then. There have been times when even the most faithful have falltered. As management consistently met milestones my faith in PCFG has grown stronger. Since the production PR, it has been like a lion kill around here with the hyenas, jackyls and vultures circling trying to get some of the action. You'll find out who to listen and who not to. Those who don't take themselves too seriously actually love Robo just for the entertainment value he provides to the board, e.g., the flea/bath comment. He is the Dyogenes of PCFG land. He doesn't let us take ourselves too seriously.
Bluebird and H3, thanks for the PM's.
General question, since I'm not current with posting acronyms and symbology, what do :) and ;) actually mean?
BS=Bloated Syntax.
Unless this is an absolute scam as Robo keeps telling us, I think that Wednesday's announcement and the anticipated Aug 15th announcement may be Mitch's attempt to prevent an anticipatory, short term parabolic rise which would ultimately collapse and be bad for the share price long term. This way the market can slowly digest the information and not have to barf it back up like happened yesterday.
The message itself was intentionally cryptic. The fact that they are shipping to the smelter tells me that they have already recovered a significant amount of gold--maybe a pound or two of it already. It's really not worth it to hire an armoured car to ship an ounce or two to Salt Lake. With a couple of weeks for the market to digest the initial information the share price should gradually rise to between $.13 to $.20 before the announcement. Then we might get a real Hammer parabalistic Kaboom.
I haven't seen anyone mentioning bear raid about yesterday's trading. The same thing happened a couple of months ago.
My Magic Eightball says, "Future looks bright."
Morning Robo, you're a little late today--price is headed North. Keep posting we need it to be $0.10 by Friday's close.
Thanks VM, actually I was directing the comment to Stamplicker and hit the wrong button. Lots of PCFG Stress Syndrome going on today. Price should rise tomorrow and Friday as the news spread and the mm's finish covering their butts. The Magic Eightball says,"Friday $.10."
Do days like today make you want to go back to flipping?
Cool your jets Jon. Selling for a 250% profit is great. I may have to sell a few shares myself to pay some bills--not that I want to, but it may be necessary. Anyway, you did good, Illigitimi non Carborundum. "Don't let the bastards grind you down."
Robo, I was getting worried this morning because you hadn't posted. All is well now. You're going to have to up your game now since you've got several new competitors, but you won't have to work too hard because they comb their hair.
Today's dip should provide considerable grist for your mill, but be careful because Carhauler has come over from the dark side.
As always, I look forward to your charming and insightful posts.
Would someone please post an L2 snapshot.
Close, but no mug. Though as a consolation prize, you can look at the magic Eightball along with Robotrader if he combs his hair. Things are looking up.
Carhauler you showed some real class by fessing up to Hammer.
As good as the news is, I would have liked to see some numbers attached to the production PR.
Robo: What's your prediction for the deceptive, misleading and elusive production PR? If you win you can get one of Viewmaster's Mugs and won't have to drink your morning coffee out of that greasy old Spam can you've been using. I might even throw in my Magic Eightball, so you can have better luck with your predictions.
Matt' could we hire you to teach Lowtrade about board posting etiquette? Always a pleasure to see your dispassionate analysis.
SN today's Tuesday--no Viewmaster swag for you for predicting the production PR. Today looks like a pretty normal consolidation day. Happens all the time. Production PR on Aug 2nd according to the Magic Eightball.
If you spend your day agonizing over the daily fluctuations of this stock, you'll end up with PCFG Syndrome which is characterized by wild, hysterical mania followed by deep depression. It is caused by $.001 changes in share price and is directly proportional to the magnitude of the change.
VM: Sometimes you're just to damn funny. Thanks for visually saying what most of us feel. What's your pick for the PR on production? If your right, you can give yourself some of your own swag.
OK, I give up I'll just sit on my stupid 100% gain. With my appologies to Nobody3--have you been using him as your editor? Absolutely, my last post on this.
DBG: Lowtrade is just trying to make a useless and senseless point that ignores the tons of dd this board has done over the years. Your post was spot on. Lowtrade's procrustean view is limited to chart analysis which usually works on pinks, but hasn't worked on PCFG. Read his logo at the bottom "Welcome to my mind." "Scary thought," he said sheepishly. I can stand to be wrong; some can't. There's always the iggy button.
It's a good sign that you're back. When you post the SP goes up. You've become a contra-indicator like Robo Trader. Personally, I've learned quite a bit about how to trade pinks for a profit from you. Most of the flack you've received on this board has been from the majority of posters who are longs. Right now I'm up 100% and if the number of shares locked up is true that percentage will go up "paraballistically." Your thoughts are always welcome, but I can't help but think that you're preaching to the wrong choir.
I'm curious to see what the board's thinking is on when the production PR will be. The 10Q is due on Aug the 14th and will probably contain some production numbers, so if we take the 14th as the outer limit, when will the elusive PR come out. We could have a contest with the winner receiving some of Viewmaster's swag and board bragging rights. I take Aug 2nd because it's a Tuesday when they usually PR and they'll have had enough time to establish the recovery rate. This may be a little flip, but is better than talking about tires or the lack there of. Carhauler what's your pick?
Unfortunately, I don't think that a production PR is imminent. Further, management seems to be taking a long term, methodical approach to the share price. Their approach has been a steady, workmanlike meeting of milestones. As I said in a previous post, Aug 15th seems to be the critcal day for the PR because it is concurrent with the release of the 10Q. If it happens before then--all the better--until then let's all keep our shorts on and not act like a bunch of day traders having a cow over every minor price fluctuations. Patience, Grasshopper.
Welcome aboard 0331--Semper Fi. Carhauler has trouble curbing his enthusiasm, but quite often he has a legitmate point of view. I think his prediction about a production PR may be right. My humble opinion is that we won't see a production PR until around Aug 15th. If I were Mitch, I'd want to be absolutely sure about the through put and the recoery rate. Also the 10Q isn't due until then. One thing I did note in today's announcement that there was no income. So far we have a reported income of about $5,000.00 for a six month period, so I can see why Carhauler has his doubts.
Just some thoughts this morning. To paraphrase Claudealain, "It's not what you say, but how you say it, that's important." Although new to the board, Lowtrade has provided some useful information to this board. I have no idea what his motivations are. It has been interesting to watch members evolve as goals have been met. The Bundylicker twins have have gone from short term traders to longs, Warren1 has become a useful contributor, and Hobotrader and Carhauler remain the same.
If you think about it PCFG is a remarkable story. Our "Bozo" managers have brought this company back from the brink of disaster. Lesser men would have given up. Right now we are sitting on the cusp. Within the next month or two we'll know if our gamble will pay off. I am not a chartist or a guru, but after watching this board for months my faith in PCFG has grown stronger.
The price of gold will have little, if any, effect on the stock price until we are an actual producer. Although I watch the day to day price fluctuations, they don't cause me a lot of heartburn. I don't expect a production pr in the very near future. I expect Mitch wants to be sure that all the bugs are worked out and they have a reasonable rate of recovery, so be patient. So far they've followed their business plan. Keep the faith. We may not be "to da' moon," but we are on the launch pad.
I was just looking at the PCFG web site and noted that besides Black Rock Canyon, Navada Rae also has claims at Tubs Springs and Mud Springs. Does any one have any additional information on these two sites?
If this follows the usual pattern, it will be green for three days and then drop so the Bundylicker twins can play their games. The wild cards here are the financials and production. Just a gentle note of caution to those who are overly enthusiastic today. I am cautiously optimistic--the fat broad is rehearsing but hasn't sung yet.
If you and rarefind are wondering, why "I don't get no respect?", you might want to look at Biochemist's posts #'s 46236 and 46200. They are balanced, well-researched and documented. Those posts command respect.
If my reading of past posts has been correct, Mitch, et.al, hold a majority position in the company, so good luck on dumping him.
SN, "The one thing worse than listening to a fool is to argue with one."
Thanks SX100
Your prompt response was appreciated. As other members have stated in undeleted posts, many of us found Warren 1's posts at the very least to be somewhat offensive, if not combative. That's not a personal attack, it's just an analysis of the posts themselves. Since my original post, I took a look at his posting history. Although not a complete look, I found that even a cursory examination of his posting history reveals that PCFG is not the first stock that he has bashed. I won't ascribe any motives to that bashing, but if his goal was to increase the number of posts on this board, he certainly accomplished that. I like others fell into his trap. Unlike Stamplicker and Bundyelvis who have always been upfront and honest about flipping, his posts struck a nerve. Stamp & Bundy are entertaining and serve as this board's own little MM's. More power to them. Warren1's dd was, to say the least, incomplete, if not flawed when compared to some of our long time respected, substantive posters,e.g. Trapper Jim, Sly Fox, dbg and even nobody3. Decisions based on inadequate and/or incomplete information are usually catastrophic. Again, this is not a personal attack, but my perception of the posts themselves. This board has spent far too much time responding to him. And if all else fails there's always the "Iggy" button. I suppose I was worried about some of our newer members being frightened off and having to endure another bear raid.
Since I'm too cheap/poor for a paid membership, I'd like to thank Wolverine1997 for his personal message. I wasn't the only one deleted.
Finally, I hope we can all remember that none of us are miners and most, if not all, of us would be piss poor CEO's. I wouldn't have Mitch's job on a bet.
I've followed this board since last October and it has been an education in and of itself. It has also been a source of considerable entertainment. After a while one gets a sense of who's who--the basher, the sniveler, the pumper, the crybaby, et al. I have also grown to respect the really excellent dd that many on this board provide to the others. Heck, we even have our own on the ground recon team. With the prospect of production right around the corner it has been interesting to watch some who are normally level headed fall into the trap of exageratted expectations and lapse into petty little hissy fits over the lack of updates. To my knowledge, there is no one on this board who is a professional geologist or gold miner. So leave the mining to the pros and quit whining. Whenever the management bashing starts, I am reminded of the story of the mouse with an erection climbing up the elephant's leg with rape on his mind. If you want patience, wait for it.
I've followed you guys on the PC?G Board for months. Thanks for setting this up. I've got Scottrade for a broker & they don't seem to list Blackfire. Any help? IF I wanted to buy, where could I? Viewmaster, where's the cups & T-shirts?
