SBTX - Under the terms of the merger agreement, assuming that Silverback’s net cash at closing is $240 million, Silverback equity holders are expected to own approximately 37% of the combined company
Giving up 63% of their remaining cash appears way overdone to me. Very possible they should all be moved to a 'senior-housing' facility.
No further interest in SBTX...

NAII 9.84 - joined the party here. NAII has amazing numbers and a decent track record...

ELEV - S-3's in situ are a requirement for every 'no-revenue' biotech imo.
What I was referring to earlier, as no-revenue-biotechs will eventually all tap an S-3...the 'cashfat-biobust-group' would be the least likely to do so...i.e. they don't need money whatsoever, what they need is a much better plan...
ELEV 1.31 - what message are the 'sellers' trying to convey?
23.3M O/S
$134M CASH
$10.4M Total Liability
That management here are a host of imbeciles that will piss off the remaining $125M CASH or approx. $5.35 per share on Country Club memberships and fast cars? OUCH, serious low blow to a host of egos?
Fast approaching my largest position, ever...

MICS - I've never seen an entity buy 50%+ control of a publically traded stock on the open market? Has anyone else ever witnessed this? A bit unusual (to be superkind) for me.
Sold a bunch of chitt this morning. Holding only ONCR, ELEV, AESE and back to about 80% cash in my stock-investing-poke.
This markets sucks a big one imo! Globally speaking, and to keep it pithy, our global leaders are ALL FOS.
Dirty secret is that only 1% of drug trials are successful, but they offer great jump rope to capture speculative news flinches while ducking the dilutive offerings
Touche'...and another reason to treasure ANY biobust trading at 2 or 3 bits on the dollar...so highly unlikely to incur a large dumpoff caused by a dilutive offering.
What are you suggesting? That every biotech with a concept engaging in longterm trials demanded by the FDA are ALL just pissing in the wind?
That was my earlier point. These aren't pinksheet scams run by grifters. These small biotechs are mostly run by professors backed by venture capital institutions.
AESE 1.52 - anyone else noticing how AESE has gotten bid-up in premarket for the previous week or longer - currently 1.54 / 1.59?
Wonder if the infamous Miltie Ault (or like kind) of MICS/NILE fame might be messin roun here?
It would be the board to pose the question. I'd be the last person to inquire with regards to actual fundamental biotech analysis haha.
ELEV - I read ihub's Biotech Values board for more information.

AESE 1.55 - getting some deserved love. My only non-biotech holding at this time and what a risk/reward oppurtunity. Trading well below cash with a miniscule quarterly burn and from their recent pr:
Mr. Berman continued, “Concurrently, we continue to make progress in our ongoing efforts to invest the cash on our balance sheet to acquire or merge with an existing business. At the end of the first quarter, our cash balance totaled nearly $96 million, including restricted cash. We remain focused on finding the best opportunity available to maximize value for our shareholders. While we are limited in what we can currently disclose about the process, I look forward to providing the market with an update on our progress at the appropriate time.”
ELEV 1.48 - pound-for-pound this is the best value I'm seeing right now in the biobust sector.
BV = 5.40
Burn = (.75)
NEXI is at the top of my watchlist...
Why make it complicated...when THEY'RE giving cash away by selling at less than .50cents-on-the-dollar and AFTER two more quarters of burn!
Are "THEY", the sellers, implying that these cashfat-biobust-managements are imbeciles and are destined to just piss off so many millions of dollars??
Are these cashfat-biobust-managements admitting imbecility by refusing to buy their own stock at 2 or 3 bits on the dollar??
My only concern is if the U.S.Dollar (grandest ponzi scheme of all time) collapses before I can cash in on so many absolute giveaways...
CABA 1.28 - steady climb over the past few days on smallish volume along with several other cashfat-biobusts. The sector seems to be re-establishing some 'trading' life after what seemed like months of down, down, down every day.

A few positives in this oversold cashfat-biobust currently trading approx. 1/3 book value including a solid connection to Bayer.
Vincerx’s current pipeline is derived from an exclusive license agreement with Bayer and includes a clinical-stage and follow-on small molecule drug program and a preclinical stage bioconjugation/next-generation antibody-drug conjugate platform. The company intends to develop multiple products through clinical proof-of-concept and potentially through Accelerated Approval in the United States.

AESE 1.45 - gets up to date with filings. Not sure what that delinquent-filing brainfart was about but this one is currently sitting on a pile of cash with huge potential. Added a few this week in low 1.40's.
