* Apparently, by accident, after he died, when I joked around with friends, I sounded like him. When waitresses in a restaurant commented that I was (unbeknownst to me at the time) imitating him, I started noticing how easy it was for me to sound like him. I make myself laugh when I notice that I accidentally said something in his manner.
Just like us. :)
Something was straight alright. ;)
Praying together, right?
Thank you. Wouldn't say terrific shape, but still doing well. Stronger than the average bear. Just keep active like my father was his whole life. (Have not taken a prescription med. yet either.)
I know I never had the pleasure of imitating him in person for you, but it is one of my best routines.
"My girlfriend called me up, said come on over nobody's home. I went over, nobody was home! Hey."
LOL, I cannot pronounce that...
Down south they made a movie about that...they called it Deliverance.
Sounds like some of the restaurants here on Cinco de Mayo, lol.
I believe that could be true too, lol.
Happy Next Year MNFATS.
What's a fitness club?
But, nobody will be there.
Indeedly.
I thought that is where all roads end.
Indubitably undoubtedly undoubtable.
Hope there is a nice beach there with plenty of attractive sights & cool beverages.
Time for an...Indeed.
Long road led you astray? :)
I recall the long & winding road...
LOL...I did mean the road, not the long(er) road.
Ay Caramba!
Wow, did not think there was that much more north (assuming north) and still be in MN. I recall 53.
Say What? (Office For The Aging?)
Mike?
Sounds like a titanic undertaking.
Oy Vey! I just like an inch-long cube floating in my drink.
How far is Ely from Duluth?
Good point...maybe icebergs were too big to fit in the door.
I expect an invitation to the grand opening. :)
Thanks Ron.
Okeedokey. Be careful out there.
Indeed.
Oh, and 'dreaming' about smoking. Oy Vey!
Thank you for sharing that, it can be of help to others I would imagine. Honest and very interesting read. I never knew that one could cough up the tar. Must have been very challenging (if not stomach turning). Most new habits or stopping one usually take a good two to three-week commitment.
At work, wear a sign around your neck that says, "Please try a cigar, but I am not allowed to."
Hence, a cigarette called Kool. Boy, how many different ways do we (try to) kill each other?
Indeed, and I'm doing well, thank you big F. It has been so many years, I forget when I first bought into NYNY. Probably over ten years now...
