of course. this is a good one IMHO. they were sufficiently well financed to complete the PEA this year. the new option agreement is not as favorable at $0.1/share as the previous one that Ryan Gold exercised the put option on ($0.2/share), but the Dec 31 deadline is definitely intriguing. maybe they want the new party to either "shXXt or get off the pot" prior to release of the PEA...? in any event, the increased volume on the Toronto exchange speaks loudly...
very high short volume, see: http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/irwd/short-interest
in principle yes, that is how IMHO this might very well go down. However, I don't believe we will get diluted out. I'm counting on Lee & Bruce to follow SRWY's example (look it up) and do the right thing: that company, previously a gold exploration company, provided the public vehicle for a private environmental technology firm, and, after name change, became Go Green Technologies (GOGR) and most previous holders did OK or better. I'm holding on to my shares. good luck to all the longs.
they may have several million ounces NI43-101 compliant, but is it going to be economic to extract them? what kind of investment will it require? what will the return on investment be, how quickly will the investment be recouped, etc. etc. These are questions the PEA should answer. so we wait...
thanks. really like this one. a lot of good properties, NI43-101 resources & a pending PEA. seems to really be under the radar. hopefully some more time to accumulate here...
some funny games going on. I had a .048 bid in this morning but the MM jumped below me to sell the shares to the lower bidder.
a couple of similar experiences over the past couple of weeks. some funny business going on @ the OTC imo, buying on the Toronto exchange instead, much more liquid stock there...
FWIW we're coming up on tax loss selling season...
ultimately we should recover here; - the clock is ticking on that 120 day financing deadline; - IMHO they wouldn't have announced something like that if they didn't have a realistic possibility of getting there...and the 150K private placement sound like an early vote of confidence to me...
Pretty tight yes and no toxic financing like a lot of other explorstion companies have at this stage.
Good luck
...and that's apparently just what those guys are thinking that are vacuuming up all the shares. glad I averaged down here. current levels probably not going to last much longer IMHO
it certainly seems to have stunned the bashers for now LOL
curious, per 8K filing, the entire placement, all 15 mill. shares were bought by ONE investor, a "non-US person".
agree, the selling down here has dried up, shares appear to be moving to stronger hands...
at this level everyone should back up the truck IMHO
might have to lift that GTC order to $ 6.10 LOL
agree. this doesn't look like the typical IHubber volume for this stock. someone seriously interested in this story is slowly accumulating. the bids seem move up as soon as the weak hands have been shaken out; slowly "fishing from the bottom up" to build up a large position; - my opinion only, of course...
ah, the the sweet smell of shortys burning, nothing like it....
you conveniently forgot to mention that according to the Labrador government mining claims website they also had an excess expenditure in the previous year (work year 6) in the amount of $ 22,664.34 and hence in order to satisfy the work requirement for work year 7 it appears to me they would only have to pay the difference ($ 26,535.66 - 22,664.34 = $ 3,871.32), yes ?

http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/irwd/short-interest
~20 million shares short interest (settled 08/15, so around the $ 11 range)
...and they need to cover pretty soon...
what is that burnt smell in the air I wonder ?
looks like someone took the Cantor Fitzgerald price target as solid investing advice LOL....
About ZTEM
The ZTEM or Z-Axis Tipper Electromagnetic system is an innovative airborne EM system which uses the natural or passive earth fields as the source of transmitted energy and does not require a man-made transmitter. The ZTEMsurvey instrumentation consists of a single vertical-dipole receiver coil that is towed about 75m below a helicopter, at a 100m nominal flight height, and is
flown over the survey area in a grid pattern, similar to other regional airborne surveys.
ZTEM data is closely related to resistivity/conductivity mapping of the subsurface. In some applications it has a depth of penetration for exploration of over 2,000 metres and with the low frequency of 22 Hertz has penetration through conductive cover to allow detection of large alteration systems typical of porphyry copper deposits.
About VTEM
Geotech’s VTEM is a time-domain airborne electromagnetic system which has a high signal to noise ratio and excellent conductance discrimination for high conductance targets. VTEM has been designed to detect and discriminate between moderate to excellent conductors such as skarn or other massive sulphide deposit types using a low base frequency, long pulse width, and derived B-Field.

should be an interesting meeting. I continue to be hopeful. IMHO, sitting on mountain of silver & a PEA that's so sensitive to the price of silver (which, IMHO, is bound to go much, much higher), has got to be worth enough as collateral for a bridge loan...
hopefully they can resolve the credit situation speedily....
agree. those high volume days seem a little beyond the typical I-Hubbers' buying/selling. wonder if someone knows something about fieldwork progress? would be nice if they have some positive updates at the shareholder meeting Fri next week....
asked the company if they would publish the Canadian National Instrument they claim exists for the property; was told they would post a 3 page summary on the website.
hey, you're the "browns"fan, remember? go get those clogged pipes, tiger !
we shall see. actions speak louder than works. awaiting the Sep shareholder meeting & updates on the exploration activities / plans for the new property; even if it's only at first a collage / analysis of the apparently quite substantial exploration efforts of the past done by others on that same property, according to the DD Trapper Jim dug up...
Frontiers, as an epilogue to your nicely written post, thought I'd add that the USPTO reexamination of the crucial Ironwood method of use patent requested by SGYP in 2012 has just been brought to a favorable conclusion, --- for IRWD, that is...

"They are in phase 2 for irritable. There is a chance that their latest trial will be considered a registration trial. If not, in June, they will start 2 simultaneous phase 3 for cic, top line in 14 "
July 2013 reality check ?
- ENROLMENT for IBS-C Phase IIB is at half-way mark. not sure if any patients have been dosed yet. so doesn't look like the IIA will be considered a registration trial, does it?
- CIC: (quote from company press release, July 19): Synergy Pharma intends to pursue the development of plecanatide for the treatment of CIC with pivotal trials expected to begin before Dec 31, 2013 "
Oops, sounds like they've broken all the piggybanks they could find, and still no one wants to partner for this GRAND OPPORTUNITY of the, wait for it ......, - BEST IN CLASS wonder drug.....
way to go!
yes, the Form 14A (shareholder meeting announcement) was filed on Jun 28, 2013. No press release from the company though. the shareholder meeting will take place on Friday, Sep 13, 2013 in Vancouver, see:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=9375791
one thing that bothered me is the following passage from the meeting announcement (quote):
"... The Board knows of no other business that will be presented for consideration at the Meeting. In addition, since no stockholder proposals or nominations were received by us on a timely basis, no such matters may be brought at the Meeting...."
However, since this was really the first public announcement of the shareholder meeting, how could stockholder proposals could have been submitted in a "timely basis" if no one knew about the meeting beforehand?
In any event, it's clear they don't want to allow any stockholder input at the shareholder meeting...
yup I hear you. as you've probably guessed and in the interest of full disclosure, I am one of them, too.
seriously?? if you add up the $$, he probably needed some money to book the flight & hotel for the shareholder meeting in Vancouver or pay claim fees :). In any event, he's still holding on to > 3.6 mill shares per the latest filing.
IMO gonna happen on its no worries...once they have to shelve development of plecanatide because it gets too expensive to go forward without a partner....or because they have to (try to) issue an insane amount of shares to raise the $$ needed to finance phase Phase III and beyond... either way...
not so fast I hope. don't have nearly enough yet .... :)
There is a lot to be said about the claims that WOLV owns, and the fact that management hasn't given up on the core of the Labrador claims despite their tight financial situation should give everyone a big hint. All the DD that Trapper Jim has posted also is verifiable information, and I like it a lot. Reasonably, I am not the only one. Holding tight & awaiting the begin of exploration on the Cariboo holdings; - Gold is about to turn & after Basel III goes into effect (early 2014?), gold & gold exploration will become a tide that will lift a lot of boats mightily, presumable the little ones with promising holdings even higher than the big ones....
RIGHT, numbers don't lie !
lets look at them then, shall we:
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/irwd/ownership-summary
IRWD: 97.21% of the outstanding shares held by institutions
Total Value of Holdings $ 1,003,640,381
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/sgyp/ownership-summary
SGYP: 16.25% of shares held by institutions
Total Value of Holdings $ 64,474,067
Ooops, looks like the %numbers have trended up for IRWD over the last 12 months & down for SGYP...
In other words, the institutional investment
in SGYP (with the supposedly superior drug LOL)
pales in comparison with IRWD, which is backed up by more than a billion dollars of institutional money.
Furthermore, <3% of the outstanding IRWD shares owned by retail; the daily volume is about half of that at the moment;
I couldn't care less if the short volume is a fraction or
most of that, - given the background, it is a moot point, and deep down, you know it, too. I can smell it through the desparation of your posts...
Nope, you were right ! looks like they covered at 10 plus change :-0
great posts ! Basel III delayed probably until early 2014, from what I could find. in the meantime concerted strategy to drive down silver/gold prices so the central/big banks can fill up at the best price while the TV talking heads/disinformation experts convince everyone gold price is about to collapse - then Basel III goes into effect, gold becomes tier I asset & the price will shoot up rapidly. soon after, monetary based system will, in some form, go to gold-index coupled system, debt repayment redefined/adjusted based on gold-index $$; heck, if mortgages would fall under that too, it's not that hard to imagine why a billion round of hollow point ammo might come in handy at that point...all only IMHO of course.
EXACTLY ! if the Cache Creek claims were worthless, they wouldn't use their admittedly very tight $$ to hold on to the major claims! probably easier to get funding for exploring / expanding the Cariboo claims currently though...
those 30% seem to be a lot kinder to IRWD though than your 10% to SGYP LOL. looking forward to comparing notes by the end of the year EOM
hhmmmh, short positions on both SGYP & IRWD; - let's see what the smart money thinks....

Ooops, the gap between SGYP and IRWD has widened even more... I wonder why....
this exchange borders on the ridiculous! have you checked the last filings, people? (incl. the one for the A/S increase) ? Mr. (Lee) Costerd doesn't exactly get paid a stellar salary - his share sales are comparatively small & in the eyes of a reasonable person would appear to be supplemental income,no more, no less. He also bought quite a few shares & still holds more than 3 million, quite a few more than the average shareholder (well, maybe excluding Doubloon LOL). As for the restrictive ledger removal & broker registration: these are most likely the restricted shares he bought at 0.01 (WOLV does not sell rule 144 restricted shares under $ 0.01, check the filings) & clearly he will only be able to sell at a loss right now, same as any private placement holder...I have a considerable position here & intend to vote in favor of the A/S increase - why? because it will give them leverage for JVs & for additions to their land bank in a prolific and promising gold district while they're still underpriced...Doubloon, as for your advice, I agree, they should probably talk to the BOD at Canyon Copper, those guys just redomiciled to Canada for much of the same reasons & once WOLV has some good data coming out of the Labrador claims, TSX venture might look favorably on such an application ...
