Anyone have a guess why there was such a huge volume surge?
Does anyone know if the DRMS recommendation is made public prior to the MLRB mtg?
Thank you, as alway's you are on top of it.
Is a temporary cessation worse tha a C&D order?
In most industries a temporary cessation is just that temporary, for example you have a safety violation and you are closed down till the problem is corrected.
Is it different in mining?
I know, I was referencing a question you have asked several times, but didn’t think I needed to go back several days to link to the original post.
The day traders do not actually care if management is good, or who works on the airplanes, they are waiting on DOT and Cuba and then they will sell into the news for a profit. It is how they make a living and I do not fault them, but I certainly do not respect their methods.
Argueing with them serves no purpose, they will not come around to your way of thinking.
You have asked several times for someone to tell you what is different with the company than it was a few weeks ago.
I think I have a answer for you, other than the late filing. I think what has changed is AAVG has moved from a quick flip to a short to mid term investment.
If it is not a quick flip many in the pinkies will quickly move on, if you believe in the fundamentals of the company hold your investment.....thoughts?
"we have retained an outside consultant to help with the DOT application".
I thought we were just waiting on approval? why the need for a consultant? Perhaps a issue with DOT, I sure hope not.
"airline revenues in 2011 were approximately $2,275,000, which is an increase of 35% over 2010".
That sounds good but there expenditures might have been 3,000,000 up 35% might only take you from crappy revenue to only mostly crappy revenues.
My point is those numbers alone dont tell you much.
My guess is that the one's pumping this stock are only trying to get the PPS high enough to get their investment back.
I am all for this company finally making it, but realy I want to get most of my money back...........so GO HFBG (i guess)
I am not sure the company is undervalued as it currently sits, I think other than the flippers, the big money is not quite ready to invest in what we (long's) see as the companies full potential.
I do agree that the milestones to the companies full potential could be reached any day and longs will be rewarded for their patience.
Well thought out response, I would ask if they already have secured funding why the need to go publc? I would think it would be safer to start your own publicly owned company as you would not have to worry about any outstanding liabilities etc...
I agree, AAVG offers nothing they could not do themselves, and they seem to have a different business model, charter and Govt contracts.
What does "on board" mean in your opinion? I am thinking some type of aircraft use or lease agreement.
Although I continue to add to my share count every payday, at .02 I am debt free so anything over that is the stuff dreams are made of.
Good luck to all, the end of the wait is in sight.
I should know this but dont, Is revenue gross or net profit in this instance? I ask because 2.2 Million is not much in the aviation industry if it is the gross profit.
I would think the aircraft lease, fuel crew and other cost's would eat that up very quickly.
I think the true question we need to ask ourselves is what is the true profitability of the company. I am not as sure that the Cuba permit is the answer to all our prayers.
Is a Cuban flight leg more profitable than a flight to the Bahama's? If they have a agreement to use Berry's aircraft most of the profit will go to Berry to cover Fuel, MX, crew, landing fee's and other costs.
I think AAVG can be succesful but unless there is something going on behind the scenes this will make money but is probably not our golden goose.
The permits are one of many parts in a aviation company being a success, but if you are just a day trader I see the importance of the permits for a quick pop in stock price.
Thoughts anyone?
Sorry if this has already been covered, Is the Cuba route expected to be more profitable than the current Bahama routes they are flying?
Unless they get more aircraft and flightcrews
(Berry partnership ?) they would have to reduce routes to the Bahamas to do the Cuba flights. 3 or 4 aircraft can only do so many flights a week.
thoughts anyone?
I dont think so, none of their websites offer service to Cuba, perhaps you mean they are using Berry's Cuban overflight permit to get to other places in the area such as Jamaica. I could be wrong and cetainly expect someone to correct me if I am.
I am afraid that the deal will be to lease Berry aircraft to supplement their fleet, not some type of super merger or buyout.
I am more concerned with what is the plan if the Cuba permit falls through? Although the company will continue to operate it will probably fail to be a viable investment. Any thought's
I am wondering if it is as simple as no one has opened a mill in so long they are just overdoing things to ensure everything is correct. I wouldnt want to be the one who blessed the mill to open and in 5 years there are major enviornmental issues.
As long as you comply with all legal requirements, they do not care if you are a good at business, not DMRS's concern.
This objection is definitely personal against Mr. Guyer, I doubt it is a valid complaint that you think the mill should open, only someone else should run it.
I am sure the history between Mr. Hennis and CGFIA are known by DMRS. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
I am concerned that it appears that someone knew this was coming and dumped their shares.
I was referring to the intro page on IHUB for CGFIA.
The web site is better, but to new investors, the old information and a website not up to date could be a turn off.
I think we would want everything perfect before the permit is approved so the big money looking in would be confident to invest.
I dont know who has the time or ability to update the IHUB information page for CGFIA but it needs to be updated with current press releases and information.
To a new investor only willing to take a quick look it might tell me nothing has been happening this year.
With the great things to come for us, I think we would want everyone to see the great updates we have been getting.
So...you are saying that something could go wrong? OK, I think we all know there could be delays, as there are in any business.
But unlike many pink's that you are never sure if there even is a product, with CGFIA we know there is such a thing as GOLD, we know the mill exists, we know they have mines and mill work arranged.
I grew up in the area (Rico) and my investment is not only to make money for myself, but to help the local towns and bring much needed jobs and prosperity to the area.
I only say this to point out that I am in this for the long and hopefully prosperous future. Not for a quick buck.
Are you trying to convince me of something? I have no idea what point you are trying to make. We are investing in the potential of CGFIA; I don’t think anyone here doesn’t know of the delays in the past.
I have some HFBG shares for sale cheap!!!!!anyone....anyone....
Complaining aside, if there is any type of pending legal matters, I am sure they have been advised not to speak to the public or shareholders.
Even AA should be careful as anything he posts will be admissible in court proceedings.
I was reading on another board about a stock that is also waiting for govermental approval ( from Dept of Transportation), and they had their submission kicked back for minor corrections and/or clarifications.
We need to be prepared for this to happen with a packet the size that CGFIA submitted. If we are prepared for this it might help everyone not panicking and thinking the sky is falling if it occurs. It would actually be a good sign that everything is moving the right direction.
Does anyone have any idea why the company would not release some information? I understand they must be careful about providing insider information, but they have done so much work that surely there is something they could share to give stockholders some degree of insight into current and future plans for CGFIA.
updating website would be a cheap and easy place to start.
Upon further review, It seems I am awarded the extra half ration of grog for being clever enough to realize how clever you were.
I have been here since it was CGFI, so I can wait another month or two no problem. Best of luck to all.
"Weight a minute!" very clever use of words, you get extra points today
May I ask what you see that gives you confidence in this company?
Makes sense he would own the website...duuuh
He gave all shares and control of HFBG to JAG, and no longer had any say in HFBG, or so we were told. Now there is possibly a new name and a new website and he owns it? It gives the appearance that he never broke his ties to HFBG at all.
He owns the product license, not the the production/distribution rights which is what HFBG was supposed to be doing.
Clearly the JAG era was supposed to show us he was no longer with the company.......am I missing something?
And to AA please your messages are long and rambling and hard to follow, try a smaller more focused message.
One of the owners that supposedly gave all control to JAG
The fact Calvin is the one who bought the new web site should tell us all we need to know about if old management is still involved.
I think we all knew that with this many two's out there it will take some time to move the PPS. Without a press release there is just not enough eyes on us for large a move. That said our time is coming....soon.
Should we be concerned about the possibility of massive dilution into the permit news? They seem to have released shares into news over the past year or so,
I am afraid that is when they will need cash on hand for actual startup costs, it could possibly kill the PPS climb we have all been waiting (wishing) for...thoughts anyone?
Am I the only one that finds it a little ironic that someone who chose the name flipartist is giving advice to hold the stock long....
Do you think the DRMS would hold the permit to allow the company to release the news in a PR, or will they lift the C&D order and we will see it at the same time that CGFIA see's it...just wondering
