Not sure why it is so important that the Pepper Mill briefing by the CEO is being labeled as an official BOD meeting.
I don't know either.
But maybe the result of you recognizing that it was not an official meeting will put to rest the charges from some on this board that PT was disseminating insider information to a select few.
It was to honor a birthday celebration, Any who wanted to come were invited. They just had to register under their real name.
I think that you understood his post better than I did. I took it to be some alternative form of Haiku.
Read the CEO blog, it wasn't Haiku. Thanks,
Corrado has a habit of posting them when I have not looked in of the website.
It is good to know that they have their eyes on the multi-national BIMP-EAGA Region as a target. but I don't expect any real movement on it until the Philippine project produces positive results.
But I can hope.
No news is no news. progressing on the ten year plan.
Checking in to comply with moderator condition to post every so often.
The only real take away from this who debacle is trust no one - even posters
Trust no one. Amen.
I have another takeaway.
It is wait and see.
We'll see how it turns out
One way or another. I am hopeful but not adding any.
Today hasn't seen the start of toxic shares being sold.
Earlier this month the average volume was much higher.
Since that horrible delayed sell off in April. I have learned to expect the sell off to come anytime. Maybe this week, maybe next month. But I know it is coming.
everyone who was invited and attended that meeting is so screwed
I hope that you are wrong about everyone who was invited being screwed. I took some of the posts placed here on this board as an invitation to anyone who wanted to attend. I chose not to for personal reasons. But my wife and I considered it. Does that mean I am screwed? and anyone else who read the posts?
And since Git received a personal invite with his room reserved for him does that put him even ore in the target zone? Since when does an invite to a birthday celebration make the invitee legally Liable?
For that matter, when does attending a birthday celebration make the attendees legally liable? It was eights birthday, he can invite a group with mutual interests and may have had other celebrations for other groups or family or close friends. What they discuss there is not the governments bushiness. Unless they are conspiring to break the law.
Was it a felonious conspiracy?
Appel listed Oro as one of their partners. Makes me wonder what kind of partnership?
Is it anything involving a financial element or is it a clean tech development alliance? The kind where there are no financial obligations and the companies are a group working towards a common goal.
There's a lot of companies listed as partners and it seems like they are each going their own way.
Makes me think that this is an ombudsman type of deal. If so they can really help put MCU on the map if the project in the Phillipines works out well.
Watched the video about borax smelting, it was interesting.
Thanks.
I'm surprised about the TV commercials because I thought their focus would have been to the farming world.
That's what I expected the augmented sales force to be directed toward. Maybe they've really ramped up production and are ready to also serve the home and garden crowd.
That is a good thing but what has me most interested is the Rock Kleen push. it is not going to be this year according to the ten year plan.
But sure, go ahead, and blame it on a crackpot conspiracy theory involving NITE.
I am not saying anything about someone shorting Mexus. I am saying that it seems like these NITE people are sketchy, nasty people. the kind who give greed a bad name.
I popped in figuring it would be pretty quiet seeing that it is so late at NITE and much to my surprise the board is still hopping. Are you people going to be posting all nite long? I can only imagine how much this will increase when nite is past and day begins!
45.7 oz just sold, more to come as the month closes.
Cash flow Positive for some little while already.
Suddenly this Sword hanging over Mexus head is supported by more than a single horse hair. Maybe a rope of gold?
I know I am breathing easier.
Other stories of perseverance come to mind. Say, The little engine that could.
And old sayings, like if at first you don't succeed; try, try again.
Well done Mister Thompson.
Congratulations to all you really longtimers.
I'd be grabbing some more stock if the timing were better.
Ain't that the craziest thing you've ever heard?
No, there is so much going on over the past three years that I can;t even keep track, anymore.
The trials and travails of Mexus or alleged trials and travails are barely registering with me. I only think of Mexus when I log on to the sites.
Senior rest home facilities being forced to take Covid infected clients in, while hospital beds are kept empty in anticipation of being needed for covid infected patients!
Now that is crazy!
MEXUS Investors expressing concerns about their stock being manipulated are also expressed by investors on many other boards, Apparently, naked shorting does happen a lot. and is often a concern to many investors.
I looked for this NITE that you referred to with several search engines and found references to it being an alternative spelling for night. and even more showing an acronym for the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation but nothing about shorting. So, I resorted to using two of the Terms NITE and naked shorting. Thank you for providing them.
That search led me to MM NITE which produced this article MM NITE Shorting
These seem to be. really sketchy, nasty people I Sure would hate to be a bag holder because of their actions.
Well this IIRO board is, and probably will remain, pretty inactive until there is news.
But I have to make a post every so often or will be removed as its moderator. Don't know if that is the way it is for other boards but apparently it is for itronics Inc.
Gold is a medicine that is very effective in many situations.
What is this about shorting?
Either the loans are paid off because there is gold or the two loans convert to become toxic. The two scenarios are as different as NITE and day.
You know Mexus has quite an efficient immune system. For all the toxicity that it has endured, it is still up and functioning. and now it appears that the correct medicine is on hand and ready to cure its ills.
Well Ah'll be!
Oh! then I should have said, "It's good enuff for government work"
Oops!
I did use .02 instead of .002. Okay that means I no longer question the lenders being the dumpers.
Well if you were talking about last April that would be germane, but not last Wednesday.
Tuesday did have a volume of 28 million but isn't part of the run last April.
Even if you were talking about last April between 20 to 60 million shares would be only one or two days of that massive run.
One day alone was over 56 million shares that was on the 26th of April.
The run April was interpreted by many as a dump by the lenders. I'm questioning that now.
Well thank you! emerginggrowth.com has been added to my bookmarks as has thestreetnow. and I am following you.
Okay, so I delayed looking at the toxic loans due last March that seemed to be converted and sold in late April. At least that was the consensus of a lot of commentators.
And I accepted the idea, but something about it was nagging at me.
Tonight, I looked at the volume of shares back in late April. The dollar amount of shares sold far exceeded the amount owed to the lenders. Even considering the discounted PPS. The shares issued to to the lenders would have to have been significantly less than the total that was exchanged. Those conversion shares would not have come close to the number of shares actually sold over that time frame.
We are talking about well over a hundred million shares sold in April equaling between 3 to 4 million dollars and the lenders would have unloaded maybe a half a million dollars or less.
There was something other than loan conversion going on.
But hey, if you can point the way to anything that verifies Ken's mythical million dollar bonanza....please do. A regulatory filing, a newspaper story, a book, a magazine article, anything? Would love to see it!
Would a hand drawn map with an X marking the spot do the job?
You wouldn't take shares? Good. I don't want to see any more dilution than is already in the works. As for setting it up, um, not in my wheelhouse but here's a link that might be helpful: 14 Great Staffing Agencies to Help You Kick Start Your Job Search
Best wishes.
Yes, 62.5% if they co-invest to fund the equipment build.
In the Philippines, I read it as 62.5% of the 40% going to the MCU-Comstock share with the Philippine partner getting a 60% share. if I did my math right that is 25% for LODE and 15% for MCU.
In other countries there may be more favorable terms. They had no choice but to take a Philippine partner in this one.
Gee Git don't you remember your own posts? In 23491 you kicked off by quoting from my 23489 post. That tells me that you read it, so I don't see any reason for repeating myself. In my last post I said they were already processed and you quoted that as well.
Just picking at things to provoke a response?
It absolutely frustrates me to read the releases but my priority may not match up with theirs.
Even if it is only a few thousand dollars to put out the information in a way that would meet your standards. It is still a few thousand dollars. PT may have other priorities, like expanding the processing facilities, increasing the workforce and suchlike. He is more of a hands on and doing kind of a guy. the record demonstrates that he is not a bureaucrat
I know that, personally, I hate bureaucracy and the associated paperwork. It may have value and be worthwhile but I am not the one to be stepping up to perform that kind of work. I can identify with a similar attitude on PT's part. And I don't know the details of what a man in Mr. Lemas position does but I can imagine that PT doesn't want to assign him that particular collateral duty. And it may not be in his wheelhouse.
If and when they are profitable they can bring on staff who can do that kind of work. Maybe they'll offer you a contract?
Kidding Git, just kidding.
full of cyanide yep, that would be a problem, if the product were full of cyanide. However the processed tailings are cyanide free.
Well, I most recently read about the Davao region in the Philippines. Canada, Mexico and America are not the only players in the mining game. And there are countries that don't do things our way.
They are targeting sites with nearby rail access.
Yup, GORO is not the company to cite when claiming that companies have started mining without information from drilling.
Of course, GORO had the money on hand to finance drilling, a lot of it came from 8.
I can think of plenty of mines that got started from prospectors striking a good find. All without developing a picture of the deposit from drilling or geomagnetic or gravity surveys and etc.
I can also think of mines that didn't pan out because they didn't have the information to develop a plan.
But GORO definitely had the data and the model.
Still, there is something to be said for luck and a dogged persistence.
And an ability to ignore the detractors. All of which PT has in abundance. (Except luck in choosing partners or approaches. the thief, MarMar and the legendary Vat) He seems to be on track now.
and yes, I would like to see information being better presented.
Did you find proof of that tens of thousands of feet drilled by GORO?
Truthful enough, Transparent enough, and rules compliant enough - - -
Fair enough.
I would like to see more of that.
In other words, some around here are acting like the company can make whatever claims it wants and it is up to the investor to prove the claims are untrue. That's not how it works. It's not?
What is due diligence?
Two CEO blog posts in one week. I like this trend, if it continues.
March 17th PR details a five year and ten year growth plan. GROWTH FORECAST AND 10-YEAR BUSINESS PLAN UTILIZES SCALABLE INTERNALLY DEVELOPED ZERO WASTE ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGIES
ANNUAL SALES FORECASTED TO EXCEED $70 MILLION
It highlights the 3 prongs of the plan; "Significant growth is planned over the next five (5) years that will transform Itronics into a major nationwide supplier of Multi-Nutrient Fertilizers; the largest printed circuit board refiner in the western U.S. producing silver and other metals; and an Industrial Minerals producer. The second five (5) years of the 10-year business plan is based upon continuous operations, although all plant design is being completed with anticipation of further growth and expansion. Utilization of the "Clean Tech Materials" technologies developed by Itronics in three integrated business lines creates a solid foundation for long term profitable growth based on material and energy cost savings realized by utilizing waste materials as feed streams. "
immediately went and checked it out, thanks
Cyanidation was developed in the 1890's and began to really be employed in the 1960's taking about thirty years to gain widespread acceptance. In recent decades Montana and Wisconsin, along with some EU countries have banned the use of cyanide because of environmental issues.
Nevada is leading the way in regulating protection of its water ways. "For individual sources nearing closure, all heap leaching pads and tailing impoundments must be neutralized; prior detoxification historic chemical use and materials characterization must be detailed in a closure report."
Regulation of the cyanide leaching is a growing movement and the time is right for the Rock Kleen process.
Itronics has positioned themselves well at its Itronics Clean Tech Materials Campus (ICTMC) They will clean the tailings at the mine or at a central location and then ship them by rail to the campus for final production of industrial and construction materials. This will alleviate the closure requirements for the mine customer and capture the unrecovered Precious metals still in the tailings. Rock Kleen Processing projects are designed as joint ventures. Initially they targeted the already cyanide tainted tailings but have since found that it is compatible with raw ore or an active leaching process. Which is another potential application and revenue stream.
