No real reason? Momentum may be playing a role But your not paying attention in saying no real reason.
Regardless of AOC; Green New Deal serves as a catchall term, not a reference to legislation.
Depending on context it means friends or persons (people). Here Peddler is saying when investors become aware of Itronics and its potential.
I gave the map another look and, with my eyes, I can't be certain but it seems as if the residential area of VC has a deep purple color underlying it. Is that just a trick of my eyes?
Glad to hear from you Peddler. Go ITRO!
Wow, Over 300 attendees! That shows a lot of interest. This company has really changed from its original portfolio.
And yet is still moving forward with its mining objectives. His comments about the airborne geophysical survey were fascinating, he said that he would not drill a single hole without first using that technology. As much as I am truly excited with the Green Tech; I am still interested in the company as a miner. Corrado's comments about not drilling a single hole without first deploying the airborne survey indicates that they will be using it in other areas and perhaps acquiring more prospects in the future.
His comments about the MCU on the property were also fascinating. They are continuing to test it with variously contaminated sources. This shows me that they have an eye on developing Mercury Cleanup for the many different mines that have mercury contamination problems. Exciting, no?
When I read about the battery processing tech, I kept thinking about John Whitfield over at ITRONICS, who is working in the area of developing leaching techniques designed to extract useful materials and minerals with zero waste. I could see a partnership or contracting deal with his company.
I moved the authorized and issued shares up in the INTRO box where it can more readily be seen when you open and view the Intro box. Previously you had to drill down past the officers mini bios.
I previously last updated it back in September when the former Moderator resigned and told one of us more or less regular posters to step up.
So I updated it for today, March 11, 2021. I will try and keep it updated when or if Itronics issues shares or makes other significant changes.
Just came in my email from Seeking Alpha
We'll hear more from Corrado tomorrow Zoom meeting
Income from MCU Philippines?
Might be an update about Tonogold? (Finally got some stock in it)
And probably will address this shortie move.
Just checking in, Mods need to keep active on the board.
looks like you got in just in time.
Recycling of batteries is expected to ramp up by 2025. The battery lasts 7 to 10 years for cars and 3 to 4 for vans and buses.
battery afterlife
Yeah, TDA drops the ball in some ways. I know that we are not alone having problems with it.
ITRO, Comstocks back burner for cyanide cleaning is thinly traded but outstanding shares are close to 20 million. You dropped a zero.
interesting thought is the temptation to buy a few shares of Tonogold
I tend to resist that temptation simply because having shares in comstock mean that if Tonogold makes money it will mean money in the bank for Lode. But from time to time I have placed an order for TNGL at the market and it has never gone through???
I am not sure that this publicly traded stock is really publicly traded even though it shows volume. Might be the time of day when I place the order.
I think they need to clear this up a little
Agreed.
Another company that experimented their product on the Comstock Minining site was Cycladex and they are already in progress. Processing in AZ and experimenting with pilot plants in Latin America and already have licensing agreements in both areas.
Itronics is moving along but doesn't seem to be as aggressive in getting RockKleen going as either Comstock with its Mercury Clean Up or Cycladex with its patented process.
It has as much potential for licensing with its cyanide cleaning as either of these but needs to get moving.
Max, I had effectively forgot about Cycladex. I can't say when the last time I looked at their website and yet Comstock holds a junior share of the company, (somewhat less that ten percent after the last round of fundraising).
Anyhow you motivated me to look at the website: Cycladex
There has been a lot of forward progress and an increase in the management team. And they have a couple of PRs showing they are up and running at the Triple 7 Mining Company in Az and have a pilot program with BC mining in Mexico. As well as pilot operations in Chile along with some other Latin American countries.
Both LatCommodities in Chile and BC mining in Mexico have License agreements for their respective countries. Triple 7 Mining appears to be a partnership with Cycladex.
Rock, 2. I sincerely hope that Comstock and Itronics are still talking to each other. Their interests do seem to fit together nicely.
CDG has stated that Itronics is on the "back burner" which means that it is still cooking and perhaps it will be brought to the front soon.
Daff, Your recent posts have been really helpful and the link you just shared really summed it up in a clear manner. Thank you.
But the article kind of downplayed the gold miner aspect of Comstock Mining Inc.
Tonogold has already invested quite a bit of money with a further 7 million dollar drill program underway. All of this has grown out of an agreement to explore the Lucerne underground at the Harris portal. Apparently they realized that the old timers disregarded values that were not economically recoverable with the technology available at that time. But Tonogold recognized that these values were very economically recoverable with current technology and chose to put off mining while exploring and defining just how vast the resource actually is.
So while I agree with the articles main thrust concerning the battery and even more so the ESG streams being the brightest part of Comstocks future, I think that the Tonogold royalty stream is going to play a big role in the near future. And that the Dayton/Spring Valley might pan out in an even more direct manner for Comstock.
I asked a question on the website about whether the plant could handle both resources and Corrado replied that it could. It looks to me as if Comstock will resume being a gold miner as well as a major contributor in the Green technology fields.
I would like to know what you, Maxbet, Rock and others think about Comstock as a gold miner. Ya, even Lester
Splendid, I think you are asking why it is not closer to the predicted $12.00 a share when its market cap is nearly the half a billion target Corrado identified on the Feb 8 presentation.
Is this what you are asking?
If so, I am not sure that the market cap is as high as you heard. 32 million Shares outstanding at $5.67 is less than 186 million.
There is still some growing to do before we hit 500 Million. Even so, twelve bucks a share would not quite add up to 500 million.
And another company Aqua Metals has also invested as a ten percent partner. Aqua Metals Invests in LINICO
Well the Jan 12 PR indicated that they were doing it the way you posted. The testing on virgin ore was from an earlier PR. So the Jan 12 post takes precedence. But the original goal was to clean up cyanide tainted piles with later PRs talking about using some combination of existing technology along with RockKleen.
So, for now, it is as you described. Cyanide and RockKleen both used to extract PM and RockKleen to remove the cyanide.
Seems like it isn't really a change in the original plan of cleaning tainted piles just introducing RockKleen sooner in the sequence so that the miner can recover a higher percentage of PM when initially heap leaching and immediately cleaning out the cyanide instead of letting the polluted piles sit with the cyanide getting into the environment.
They are still adjusting the plan and the technology.
Lester, I remember when you were quite excited about LODE's prospects and gradually fell out of love with Comstock. We shareholders took a beating getting to this point, I am upside down for one tranche of investments here but have seen double my later investment in LODE.
Since you quite posting on a regular basis a lot of progress has been made the mining prospects are still part of the company portfolio but there is a great deal of other prospects that could have global impact.
This is not a pump and dump even though there is a lot of movement in the PPS. I was here when you were active on the board and am still here and am very encouraged
Harpe, Itronics has already tested it on virgin ore with satisfying results.
They've stated in the Jan 12 PR that The new concept was developed as an outgrowth of laboratory testing that was recently completed to evaluate the leaching capabilities of the Rock Kleen Technology. Several mining companies have inquired about gold recoverability using Rock Kleen. Testing has confirmed that Rock Kleen including conventional gold recovery technologies makes it possible to optimize recovery of both silver and gold. The new processing concept neutralizes cyanide after use and leaves the rock without cyanide residuals, making this an environmentally desirable process without the negatives normally associated with cyanide use. From this and earlier Press Releases I believe they can process virgin ore using cyanide along with RockKleen. However, they are still conducting tests looking for a way to make use of RockKleen technology without needing to use cyanide at all.
Being on the back burner, seems to me that it is likely getting ready to bring forward. LODE is making moves that have been totally unexpected and trying to anticipate the next move is a real challenge. But there is money to be made using RockKleen on the cyanide tailings, and CDG made a presentation to Noble Gold last month where he spoke about ESG standards. ESG refers to Environmental, Social and Governance standards. Eliminating the cyanide pollution while extracting precious metals is right on point and they will be bringing it, RockKleen, forward sooner rather than later.
Itronics old friend Comstock Mining announced the acquisition of a 64% share in a lithium battery recycler and drove the price over $6.00. Both companies seem to moving along parallel tracks over the last few years. Maybe it's time they partnered up?
RockKleen is the thing.
The volatility is herd mentality and it has been happening in other stocks as well. the herd has been stampeding
The thing I hold onto is the probability that LODE is going to start generating income. In fact, it has already started with Tonogold, the hotel and the ranch.
The Silver Springs opportunity fund is likely to begin generating income somewhere down the line, maybe a couple of years from now. The mine is less than a year away from production, and MCU is happening right now, with a tremendous potential to make the other streams look like afterthoughts.
I don't give a rat's rear end about the volatility. It is white noise.
Harpe this has been a fun week.
I'm thinking this round of new buyers are holding their shares with a strong grip, having seen its potential and wanting to be in while it is still a bargain. The last time it had a run up, it bottom stayed up about forty cents and now it appears to be staying up another forty cents, or so. May the runs up come closer together and settle even higher has ITRO increases its workload. The fertilizer is a nice business but the bigger future is in its KleenRock tech.
family issues kept me busy while itro was running. It is looking good.
I think I can give you some clarity.
RockKleen was developed with the goal of eliminating cyanide from cyanide heap leached piles. It was successful and also recovered residual precious metals.
Elimination of cyanide was the original goal, improving the recovery of Precious Metals was secondary. Now the recovery of PM is even better than before.
This is a progress report, and nice to hear.
What'll be even nicer is to hear about contracts with mining companies.
More than just a thought, it is a probability. I've been fortunate other times when ITRO dropped down to a half a buck or that neighborhood. This time no sellers.
Good luck with that cave.
Wasn't aware of any difficulties buying on the market until I placed an order last week that did not go through, it was for just over a half dollar when the price dipped that low. Thought I would scarf some up.
Have you expanded that cave enough for company?
Added that heated pool and the indoor gym, stocked the larder and set up a repel boarders system?
Happy New Year!
The real gold mine will be the Mercury abatement process. I doubt if the board is interested in selling.
Took a position before the reverse split, waiting to go green.
The passengers and crew did get off Gilligan's Island. And the cast and producers made a bundle. I'll accept that example for a comparison.
This ship, the SS Mexus, is finally getting underway. Sea trials are completed and the deficiencies are corrected.
I had and still have high hopes for the RockKleen process, it has even more potential than when I first invested, but the fertilizer branch is sure working itself up. Next we may be hearing news about the mine.
I think MCU Comstock will generate revenue first. They are ready to plug in the mercury reactor, which is the final stage. They still need to send the team over, which should be happening this week.
during the conference call Corado had this to sayd; "Once we get the US system sort of running at the higher end of the 2 to 25 ton range with the same result then we'll start building the first sort of fully integrated mercury system that will go to the Philippines. . . " Sounds to me like they are closer at the Comstock.
