Point well taken. The only trouble is that this was a Chinese owned company prior and will be a Chinese owned company after the aquisition.
Here's an interesting development in regards to our electric vehicle competition. I predict another 700 jobs lost to the Chinese within 5 years as a result of this aquisition. If we have any thoughts of turning around our growing dependency on China and OPEC, our government needs to get behind the technology development of our own natural resources and quit feeding other nations. IMO GO HLNT !!!!!
Lithium-ion battery maker A123 Systems Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware and said Johnson Controls Inc. has agreed to acquire its automotive battery business.
To facilitate the purchase, JCI is providing A123 $72.5 million in post-bankruptcy financing to continue operations through the court process, the companies said in a statement. The total transaction price is $125 million, the statement said.
A123 said an earlier deal to sell an 80 percent stake in the company to China's Wanxiang Group had fallen through.
The JCI deal includes A123's two battery plants in suburban Detroit. The company employs 700 people in Michigan. Johnson Controls already operates a lithium-ion plant in Holland, Mich.
JCI also will also acquire A123's cathode powder plant in China and its stake in Shanghai Advanced Traction Battery Systems Co., a joint venture with Shanghai Automotive.

And we think our PPS is being manipulated. This guy has tried every court maneuver ever written to avoid his ultimate fate. All on your tax payer's dollars. Well the clock is ticking for him as well. TIC TOC, TICK TOC.
The problem with your theory symyn is that I can only play golf a couple times a week due to worsening arithitus. That will force me to go fishing off my 60' yacht that'll be parked just this side of the Senator's big boat. LOL
Kinda funny how 26K shares can bring the PPS down 8 ticks at the EOD. And some say there's no manipulation. LOL
Just picked up 72K at ask. I consider this an early Christmas present from someone. Thanks
Hey MM'S, would you please keep this PPS around .01 for another hour or so. It'll give me time to sell some of my furniture and buy more HLNT. TIA
The ROI appears to be about the same considering the govt. funding they received. Of course the tax payers won't know what hit them. My question is how many police dept's have an extra $12 grand to change over their vehicles and where do they go for a fill up ? Oh yeh, they can lobby to raise taxes so they can get the money. HTI/AHS, you've got the world by the short hairs right now. No other technology can come close to your immediate savings that the country so desparately needs right now. We can not absorb any more taxes to fund programs that will pay off 10 years from now. Let's get people back to work and give them an inexpensive way to save NOW. Trust me, our country will run and develop new technologies without expensive government subsidies. Just step aside, reduce regulations and let capitalism work, as it has in the past. This is not a paid HTI/AHS annoucement, and I approve this message. IMO
WER, your question was a legitimate one. If a newbie started reading those posts, they could definitely draw a wrong conclusion. I'm sure Bill annd Chad have done their marketing research and are addressing each business segment accordingly. It's nice to see HTI's potential, even though much of it is currently Blue Sky. Gotta walk before you learn to run, or you could fall on your face real quick. Been there, seen it happen. I have faith in the current leadership.
I'm afraid some have jumped overboard in spite of the warnings. I guess the old saying is true. If you can't ride out the storm, then don't climb into the boat. ( I just wish some of the less desirables would stop yelling ABANDON SHIP )
Will someone post L2. TIA
Longs don't need Prilosec, it's like a Friday trip to the Candy Shop for free samples.
I see the Friday morning "Lunch Bunch" has arrived on schedule. Time for them to draw their meager HLNT profits to fill their lunch buckets this coming week. I can almost set my watch on Fridays with their predictable arrival. This should shed some weaker hands and provide longs with an excellent opportunity to add more cheap shares to their portfolio. In a short period from now, we should be hearing that "THE SKY IS FALLING" from our resident stock promoters. AH, the games people play. LOL
Hey Carn, do you know whether AHS will be represented at the Sunbelt AG Show in Moultrie next week ?
Well said Niko. Sometimes Cost Avoidance plays just as big a role in the Economic Evaluation process as the obvious cost savings. All should be looked at when determining the ROI. In looking at HTI/AHS, it's the gift that just keeps on giving. ( and I can't wait for the first big carrier to announce that fact )
GM all. Sorry I missed out on all the lack of meaningful posts yesterday. Once again, thanks Casa for a bit of encouragement. I also believe the first domino has already fallen. It fell when Chad signed up with Bill Cunetta. HTI was definitely struggling with the NIR suit, lawyers fees, no defined marketing plan, and continued bad vibes from previous management. In less than 6 short months, the PPS has gone 10X and with no major announcements affecting revenue. Please tell me of a better investment opportunity than this one. I, along with others have posted "FACTS" about the connections and background of all the new people now involved with the development of HTI. If you can not see for yourself the tremendous opportunity that lies ahead and be patient enough to wait a bit longer, I suggest you take what profits you have and move on with the ghost from .002 past. Please let this decision be yours, and not based on negative speculation and comparison to other companies. IMO this investment opportunity comes along only once in a lifetime. I realize we have developed into the nation of "I WANT IT NOW" (whether you can afford it or not)but if you can muster up just a little patience, this could make a major change in your current life. IMO
Way to go Surf. It is good stuff, very very good stuff. Thanks
JB, I didn't think you were questioning the validity of my statement and I did not mind a bit answering your question. Don't let comments by others prevent you from participating on this board. You have just as much a right to be here as any of us.

GO VELOCITI !!! GO HLNT !!!!!!
They may not have gotten in this year due to registration deadlines. Final list is not posted yet.
Amen brother. TIC TOCK, TIC TOCK !!
Casa, I take it Mr. Cunetta will be in good company at this event. Nice to see a golf tournament also. I still believe over 50% of business today is conducted there. Great venue, with opportunity for excellent contacts and exposure. IMO GO HLNT !!
http://www.trucking.org/mce/pages/2012exhibitors.aspx
I'll drink to that ! Bar-Keep, please pour me another 1.6 liter of my favorite lager. Yep, the one next to Shock Top. Yep, made in the USA and owned by HTI.
Happens every Friday. Lunch money for next week taken, then a recovery in the afternoon. Opportunity for some great buys by the longs. GLTA
Stick around JB. The fun is just beginning.
WHY ?
I want my money and I want it now!!! WAAAAAAA, WAAAAAA, WAAAAA.
Give me a break. If you are an investor, than you also realize that it also takes time to reap the benefits. Whining for a PR to give you instant profits gives me the impression that you are definitely not an investor in AHS. As investors, we have been given enough information in the last 6 months to be able to connect the dots. Instead of whining about not getting a PR, take a momment to re-visit the info we have been given. 1. Great hook up with Bill Cunetta's group. 2. Obtaining class PR firm. 3. Obtaining world class manufacturers ( one of which has immediately hired 50 employees for our product ) Would I appreciate a PR about now ? Sure, but I can't be happier in the progress we've recently made. Food for thought - A manufacturer does not add 50 people to there payroll, without P.O.'s in hand. As Nik would say folks, " Just a matter of time " Please practice a little patience, instead of voicing your individual frustration. It does no one any good. Especially new eyes on AHS.
So mad I could spit. No powder till next Wednesday. What a gift that's currently being offered up. IMO
Assets, at .0182, these are the cheapies. Anyone with the capability should definitely be loading up NOW. This balloon is ready to pop and when it does, you won't be able to buy .05's for very long. IMO
Thanks for keeping up front with ALL of us Casa.
GM all. Sorry I missed the activity from yesterday. I see we were visited by the ghost from .002 past along with a new poster that may have escaped from the local looney bin. I'm glad we have such a strong board to assist in identifying the pure rubbish being spewed about HLNT. We longs know what we have here, and will protect the newbies the best we can with "FACTS" rather than a bunch of BS speculation and out-right lies. As always, trust your own DD. As for comments from Casa, I am always appreciative. GLTA
Fagizzle jmizzle, way to go !!!
When I start to get a little anxious, I do a little review of current events. I especially liked this announcement in July.
Alternative Hydrogen Solutions Partners with Velociti for Installation and Deployment of Hy-Impact™ Product Line
Intelligent hydrogen systems to be installed on diesel combustion engines throughout North America
KANSAS CITY, Kan. & FARMINGTON, Ark. – July 10, 2012- Alternative Hydrogen Solutions LLC (AHS), providers of the Hy-Impact™ line of intelligent hydrogen systems today announced a strategic partnership with global technology deployment specialists, Velociti, Inc. Velociti will provide a network of installation and post-installation services for all Hy-Impact units installed on diesel combustion engines across all vertical markets throughout North America.
Designed and manufactured by Highline Technical Innovations, Inc. (OTC: HLNT) the Hy-Impact product line uses hydrogen as a catalyst to more effectively burn fuel. Hydrogen is separated from water via the process of electrolysis allowing a precise amount of hydrogen gas to be introduced into the engine’s combustion chamber, creating a significantly more efficient fuel burn. Hy-Impact’s patent pending CPU technology ensures the correct amount of hydrogen is released, while no moisture enters the engine, resulting in a 9-23 % increase in fuel economy and dramatically lowered emissions.
Velociti will be working with Alternative Hydrogen Solutions to install the units, designed for implementation on engines of all sizes, on for-hire and private fleets, commercial marine fleets, oil services machinery, agricultural machinery, locomotives, and municipal vehicles.
AHS’s relationship with Velociti will provide Hy-Impact users with access to a world-class network of reliable installation professionals as well as fast and reliable post-installation services.
“We understand that when a vehicle isn’t moving it is likely someone is not making money,” said Bill Cunetta, president of AHS. “Making sure our Hy-Impact products are professionally installed in a swift and organized fashion is very important, especially to our large fleet operators. Velociti is the obvious choice to meet our expectations.”
Velociti has specialized in the field of technology deployment since 1995, and was recently named one of the Flyover 50 Fastest Growing Companies.
“The use of hydrogen systems to improve fuel economy in combustion engines has been on our radar for quite some time,” said Deryk Powell, COO of Velociti. “But frankly, until now, we’ve not felt a viable solution was available in the market. After many months of studying the engineering, manufacturing and design for AHS’s Hy-Impact product, we feel confident AHS offers enterprise-level users the solution they’ve been waiting for. The market potential for AHS is massive in size and we are pleased they understand the importance of professional deployment and trust Velociti to get the job done.”
“This product has already proven a to be a great success in small circles of the marine and agriculture space,” explained Cunetta, “however, we knew that if we wanted to see that same success on a large scale commercial level we would need to seek relationships with proven world-class industry experts. With Velociti handling all deployments and LaunchIt taking control of marketing and public relations we have leveraged the caliber of resource that will ensure such success.”
About Alternative Hydrogen Solutions LLC
The Hy-Impact™ line of products began development in 2005. After 7 years of research, testing and modification, it has emerged as a unique and successful solution to the concerns posed by rising fuel prices and the environmental concerns related to harmful emissions. Alternative Hydrogen Solutions was formed in 2012, when the creators of Arkansas-based Highline Technical Innovations Inc. (OTC: HLNT) joined forces with Alternative Hydrogen Systems Group Sales and Marketing LLC, in order to bring this revolutionary product to market. The products that comprise the Hy-Impact™ line and their corresponding industries include: Hy-Road™ for trucking, Hy-Marine™ for maritime, Hy-Flo™ for oil, Hy-Agra™ for agriculture, Hy-Rail™ for locomotive, and Hy-Drolean™ for municipality.

Sorry to hear of your afflection this a.m. Shew. I believe either a big fat PR or Triactin should cure your ailment. I have a similar condition with my left palm itching today.
Great Job Casa, You are most definitely appreciated by this board and I'm sure by Chad, Bill & Co. for your continued efforts in the company's success.
GM all. Just back from Halifax and Bar Harbor. Boy, they sure could use some Hy-impacts up there. Due to the warm weather last winter, lobsters lost there shells early and the price went below $2 a lb. Hope Casa can make a trip up there some time soon. I see nothing much has changed at AHS. Sorry I missed that buying opportunity during mid-week. I also see that a few are getting extremely anxious for a PR. I used to get up tight myself, but have come to realize to let go of things I have no control over. I bought into this company as a long term investment and have faith that the current leadership will get us where we need to be. KEEP THE FAITH GUYS AND GALS. I don't think we're too far off. Take profits if you must, but a bigger prize may be right around the corner. IMO
Nice volume today. Not sure what the buy - sell ratio is, but would expect some weekly sell offs for weekend party money and lunch money for next week. When will they ever learn that this is not your typical penny stock. Oh well, it did give me a chance to pick up some cheapies again this week. GLTA, talk to you again in a week when I return from a little get away. I think there may be others needing a little getaway about now also. Patience, Patience, Patience. Look how far we've come in less than 6 months.
I hit the ask for 28k, but that's all I have to contribute this month. Hope it stops the bleeding a bit. At least till the big hiters right the ship. Just a matter of time ( as Niko would say ) Patience will win out is my philosophy. GO HLNT !!
