"The Leader in Documenting, Exposing and Neutralizing LIberal Media Bias"
my point is that your source has an obvious agenda and it's not reporting the news in an unbiased manner but a overreaction to perceived bias. Kind of like those sites that were funded by Exxon or Chevron or whatever it was.
the whole story...
LONDON (AFP) - Former US vice-president Al Gore reiterated here that he does not intend to run for president in 2008 -- though he did not entirely rule out doing so further in the future.

what a joke. where do you find these sites?
http://www.mrc.org/
Has the White House interfered on global warming reports?
it would certainly fit right into their pattern of changing the facts to suit their agenda and, in particular, protect big energy interests
so true... delusional isn't strong enough
good for her! The straight simple truth.
I've heard that Costco also treats their employees well... much better than WalMart... they are also a "blue" company.
it was :)
reminds me of a friend of mine who said he was driving a "Ford Attempt"
Did you write that?
lol... the snow fits... not sure about the other... show be "frugal"
I've found Costco fairly good quality and the most affordable around. So even if it didn't have the online aspect, I would use them. But for me, not having to go into the store saves me money since I don't get tempted by things I see lol
LOL!
I think he's already been bitten by something imaginary.
your post doesn't make sense or even respond to what I wrote... you ranted on about Saddam, terrorits, Clinton and Kosovo which is really far off base... and then back to mass graves and WMD??? What does any of that have to do with a possible recession and Pelousi?
and you're only real point is some imaginary possible future situation....
I wish I had read more posts before I had responded to you... Had I, I wouldn't have bothered.
have a nice life.
oh give me a break... Bush has just about busted the dollar... investors are turning to gold because they no longer have faith in the dollar... Bush run the deficit up... and has spent gazzilions in Iraq on a disasterous, illegal and immoral war.
Pelousi and the Dems are doing exactly what they promised prior to the election... therefore, they are doing what those who voted them in want them to do.
Bush on the other not only ignores the american people's wishes, he ignores his generals, the experts, congress, and just about everyone.
You're welcome :)
You can even upload photos for printing on their site and either pick them up or even have them mail them to you!
Since I started my business and have been working at home, I've really cut back on the driving I do. It's amazing how much driving comes from driving to work and back and all the errands because of that.
buy online :)

he's warped... he cares more about giving tax breaks to a few priviledged friends than about the tens of thousands of innocent people being killed... about the troops who are dying daily.
Bush/Cheney should be tried for war crimes IMO
great one! LOL
and what's worse is that the politics surrounding it tries to convince you that they are the ones with strong family values. The good news is that the last election shows that people are wising up to the empty rhetoric.
I'll keep you posted... this is a big issue for me since I was turned down by Blue Cross and have a plan that's very expensive and not very good at covering things. If it gets worse, people will be screaming...
yeap. Sadly it seems, especially on iHub, there are too many greedy, self-centered and selfish people.
Dumbasses missed the first thing passed by this Congress.
or at least were counting on their viewers being ignorant of it.
Dems are doing a fairly decent job of keeping the info flowing for those interested... unfortunately it seems many news services, such as FOX, are still in the business of politics instead of news reporting.
ACLU is sending out requests for support re stopping the admin from going outside the law. This administration has zero respect for the constitutional rights of it's people.
well wait a minute... yeah blame it on social securty, etc... what about the cost of Iraq? subsidies for energy companies (although recently rolled back by Dem congress)...
Dems full fill campaign promises quickly...
I'm impressed to see the new Dem controlled congress taking action so quickly on their promised agenda. The following was on the front page of the SF Chronicle yesterday.
1) Putting in place recommendations of the 9/11 commission
2) increased minimum wage
3) expanded federal suport for stem cell research
4) lowering prescription drug prices for Medicare
5) cutting interest rates on college student loans
4) end tax breaks for oil and gas produceers
Go Nancy!
lol... not into those at all.
no problem :) Vanity FIRE... interesting title though.
me too...
and not just for the children in the places we leave it, but also because how if effects everyone who comes in contact with it, including our troops.
(Remember it was only a study, not actual production)
yeah right. and would you approve of spending tax payers dollars on a study for something they would never intend to use?
and btw, I don't think Iran and Korea are harmless. my point is and has been that instead of being a leader by example, we are doing one thing and tell others to do differently... hence hypocracy.
it wouldn't surprise me one bit... it also wouldn't surprise me if WE were working on it under some topic secret classification.
I see nothing in the treaty which doesn't allow us to develop reuses of what we have... I do agree it is a bad idea, but doing so is not the same thing as IRAN developing a weapon.
I think you're stretching to rationalize it... it was a new weapon regardless of the hairs you are trying to split on the type of nuclear material it might have used.
At least we both agree it was a bad idea.
My point is that this administration, especially, has damaged our credibility in dealing with issues like North Korea because of it's hypocracy. This is a just one example of that.
but the intent was there... if this admin could have gotten away with it, they would have developed it. there was a disregard for our commitment as a nation to nuclear non-proliferation.
"I am relieved that the administration has abandoned this irresponsible and dangerous path," says representative Ellen Tauscher, a California Democrat. "Developing new nuclear bunker busters would undermine decades of United States leadership aimed at preventing non-nuclear states from acquiring nuclear weapons and encouraging nuclear states to reduce stockpiles."
I hope that's true. But it STILL demonstrates the hypocracy of this administration.
last I heard the budget went through and we were developing it. that more than a year ago... maybe longer? I doubt the military is going to publcize it's progress on it.
YES. I distinctinly remember Barbara Boxer challenging Rumsfeld when he tried to sneak it into the budget without anyone noticing
what's disgusting is that even after she outted him, the budget was approved.
can't you see this admin is cherry picking standards based on their agenda and is totally hypocritical
ah yes...
some might call that hypocrisy... but I guess if we do it, it isn't :)
Cynical or Delusional?
interesting piece from NY TImes Select piece by Krugman talks about the cynical view (that this admin is just trying to run out the clock to leave the task of withdrawal to next admin) or delusional (that this admin is unwilling to face reality because of a based aversion to cutting one's losses... sounds like the same problem some have with trading)
and just thought I'd weigh in again for immediate withdrawal.

what about us breaking the NPT by developing new nuclear weapons of our own? (bunker busting bombs/Rumsfeld)
