I have to agree with photog.....and with the others who have noted it...
why promote the company prior to the name change and symbol change are completed? Once complete, do a redesign of the website to reflect the companies current state of affairs and promote the he!! out of it!
in the meantime if you think the company is going in the right direction use it as a buying opportunity as able, or sit tight. If you think the company is going down the tubes, then get out.
whining about every little down tick or perceived lapse by management or IR on an hour by hour basis will make you neurotic.
I'd love to wake up tomorrow to a 100-bagger. but it ain't gonna happen. but give a good management team a year with an undiscovered company to build a solid portfolio and carefully promote it up...who knows?
Just my 2 bits. My feeling on the company right now, based on everything I can find, is that they are trying to line up their whole portfolio and then present them as a whole entity...likely right after he ticker changes - to drive up interest.
I may be wrong, but this to me seems like a smart direction to go, so i hope it is what they are doing. And I hope in a year or so I made the right decision. If not or if they seem like they are not hittign the tagets/goals laid out in their press releases I will try to find an exit point that either gets me som egains or minimizes my losses.
I swear, it amazes me what goes on around these stock forums. I love technology, but it seems we are demanding instant gratification from everythign these days....since I can post about a stock 24/7, and get information in real time, and have news releases delivered to me the second they are released, then the damn stock should just go up 1000% a day immediately after i bought it, and if it doesn't then management sucks and should be replaced right f'n now.
do we forget that the actual business dealings still require face to face meetings, contracts need to get signed in person in most cases, and due diligence for the company involves actual visits to properties or hands on review of technology, not just doing a little bit of research on the internet as most of us do.
Now i actually appreciate well researched negative information about a company - just back it up with facts or relevant comaprisons. bashing and pumping are both useless....and I appreciate many of the people here try and produce what facts they have researched to back up their positions, which is great.
but if we get into just arguing without something factual to base it on, then it is abbsolutely irrelevant to any discussion of the company or what we feel the stok price should be or anything else........
Sorry for the ramble, but i have just seen way to much of this back and forth bickering with absolutely no factual information to back up eithwer side on to many stock boards this evening as I catch up for the day.
I'll zip it now.
