What do you mean? The bid certainly is going up.
EGCT bid quietly building back up; looks like buying interest, though quiet, might be beginning to build a bit, too.
I hear you, but there's really no market out there to believe or not believe. This is a no-name company trying to start a rental car business. Why would there be a market? Isn't the point of the acquisition to make the market, not vice versa?
How is Nesbitt's bringing buyers on board in anticipation of the acquisition anything other than a violation of a non-disclosure agreement or, even worse, insider trading?
In my opinion (and a very amateur one at that), this is a small, no-name little company with nothing but a brand attempting to acquire a fleet of cars to serve as a base for a business. The fact that they have an acgreement to acquire a reputable, national company and a funding commitment is, to me, a huge deal. The only thing negative here, in my opinion, is that it's taking so long, but isn't that how life is as a start-up?
I admit that I'm mostly talking out of my keister, and I don't begrudge any of us who've been on this board since 2010 and early 2011 some incredible frustration and impatience. And I might be setting myself up to see my holdings slowly disappear, but I don't think so. I think we'll see something of substance in December as Nesbitt anticipates.
Technically, it's not late. Based on my hopes and expectations, it is. Based on the most recent filing, everything is still on track. If you listened to the radio interviews from September, the CEO Bill Nesbitt said he hopes to have everything completed in December.
No mailer. Just this: http://bluehorseshoestocks.com/azfl-amazonas-florestal-ltd-long-term-focus/
As I've said since the beginning, if you're looking for a big promo, you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for a company looking for long-term growth and promotion appropriate to that, well, you're in the right place.
iHub's L2 is messed up.
Looks like someone wanted real cranberries instead of cannedberries for Thanksgiving dinner this year.
Tons of great information in today's EGCT 10-Q. Finally get to see those signed contracts with ACE and Wellington Shields, which includes details on the acquisition financing. A/S remains unchanged, and O/S actually decreased due to the share return from Bill Plamondon and Erin Davis. A few other highlights from the filing:
"The Company is currently pursuing wholesale distribution opportunities for the Ecologic Shine ® product, including the product placement into major retail automotive chains. In addition, a test market with a national automotive oil change chain has commenced, for the utilization of the Shine® product to be offered as an additional service."
"In August 2012, Mr. William Plamondon returned 3,059,750 shares of the Company’s restricted common stock to the treasury, pursuant to the Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release dated July 23, 2012. As a result, $3,060 has been recorded to paid in capital.
"In August 2012, Ms. Erin Davis returned 500,000 shares of the Company’s restricted common stock to the treasury, pursuant to the Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release dated July 23, 2012. As a result, $500 has been recorded to paid in capital."
"On August 2, 2012 the Company entered into a 120-day Letter of Intent (“LOI”) to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of ACE Rent A Car, Inc., an Indiana corporation. The Company has begun due diligence, and anticipates entering into a definitive agreement by December 31, 2012. The LOI may be extended by written consent of both ACE and the Company."
"On September 12, 2012, the Company retained the services of Wellington Shields & Co., LLC (“Wellington”) for the acquisition financing related to the purchase of ACE Rent A Car. The proposed financing is intended to be comprised of 100% debt financing, and will be used primarily to complete the proposed acquisition of ACE. The Engagement Letter dated September 12, 2012, provides for an initial fee of $25,000 fee for Wellington to represent the Company to lenders to secure financing for the purchase of ACE. In addition, the Company engaged Wellington to represent the Company in a $30,000,000 equity financing, which is contingent upon the completion of the ACE acquisition."
Again, I'm not talking about personal attacks. I'm talking about off-topic material in the iBox.
I don't want anyone removed; I just want that headline removed.
Perhaps I miscommunicated. My concern is that the iBox is supposed to be used to communicate information on the company itself, not to discuss twitter feeds or promoters or iHub users. If something is off-topic for the message board, how much more so for the iBox?
Since "other posters" isn't an acceptable topic, perhaps you could remove the huge reference to Teffy that headlines the iBox.
Thanks for the EDVP S/S info.
I'm definitely interested in the forthcoming changes here. Something's stirring, for sure.
Thanks for the updates; looking forward to the evolution.
I was wondering what happened to that!
It's a steal if you're buying into the company, but not if you're expecting a big promo. Why would a company with $47US million in assets waste that on a promo? There's just no evidence for a big promo. There's evidence for a company preparing for over a year to go public and begin pulling in revenue and then making a market, but definitely not a one-promo wonder.
For what it's worth, in today's Attorney Letter, "neither the Issuer nor its securities have been the subject of promotional activities."
I know how Pink and OTC companies raise cash. I know the difference between the different promoters, and I know when a stock is poised for a small blip gain on a promo and a monster gain on a series of promos.
In any case, I hope you get the gains you're looking for here.
Yes, please, read all my posts. If that's what you call "trashing" a stock . . . .
I'm the one who set up this board in the first place (see Post #3); why would I go to the trouble of doing that only to trash it? In fact, I like the company so much, I'm on a mission to dispel the rumors/guesses/intentional hype-mongering of an APS promo because I don't want a bunch of people coming in here, loading up, realizing it's not APS, and then trashing the place as they mindlessly stampede on to the next rumor.
I have a lot of shares here, so I definitely want the share price to run. I just don't like APS and don't believe that that will get the share price where it needs to go.
Those loading up in anticipation of APS are going to be sorely disappointed. Just isn't happening here. Great company, great stock, but not an APS play.
I hear you in one sense; in another, though, stocks are about percentage gains, not price, right? If you have $1000 to invest, all you care about is a 25% gain, not the number of shares you own.
I recommend ADMP and SZYM for your consideration, Harr.
Nothing like that. As I've been saying from the beginning, there's no promo here. This isn't a momo stock. A few people saw big blocks the first two days of trading and decided they'd try to stir up some iHub hype and capitalize on it. In the adapted words of Ben Kenobi, this isn't the stock they were looking for.
Plenty of money to be made here, but not on a promo.
As quietly as people are buying, others are quietly selling as they realize this isn't a paid promo. Money comes later here, IMO, not any time soon on a promo.
No promo on AZFL. Just hype manufactured on iHub. Big money to be made here, but not any time immediately on a promo.
EGCT bid starting to shape up again. A few bidwhackers this morning, but the bid continues to grow.
Definitely will be a promo some day. Just not any time soon, at least not originating from the company itself. Maybe from one of the iHub "groups" who all show up together to run things, but not the company.
Info in the iBox is incorrect as of this posting. The O/S is 401,880,000, not 40,188,000.
Teffy should correct that.
Well, those shares haven't even been processed yet, so that's definitely not an immediate concern. Regardless of who has how many shares there, EGCT has much bigger things going on right now than AZFL to worry about, for sure.
In any case, let the iHubbers bring their hype and generate awareness, but no one at EGCT or AZFL is paying for any kind of promo/awareness here.
And, yes, there's plenty of wood. And the goal is to sell it, not keep it in-pocket, if you will.
LOL me all you want. I'm not denying that promos happen; what I am saying is that there's no big promo going on here--look at the iHub AZFL trail, and it's obviously just a few dudes trying to stir something up.
I know that there's money to be made here, but it's not going to come, initially, from some massive promo.
Glad you got a nice position, and I hope it goes up for you. No issue there at all. I have a large position, and I'm always glad to see an increase in pps, but I'm not interested in short-term pops that leave momo runners banging the bid when the hype ends. That's where I'm coming from.
"Not sure where all this premanufautured IHUB hype is, board been pretty dead fer millions of shares to trade."
Everything said about AZFL on iHub is premanufactured hype, based on nothing more than three days' volume, which is nothing more than a company going public and making a market for itself and a few people seeing a new ticker and hoping they're guessing right about a promo. Unfortunately, they're not right. But it doesn't matter to them if they can stir some hype and get some other people on board--just enough for their short pop. Alas, that's how it goes. Good for those early adopters.
"Sorry but looks like IHUB hardly knows bout this ticker yet."
That's right. But as an owner of AZFL shares, I'd rather it be known for the right thing.
"99% of the time tiockers run because of momo and not the 'company'"
No doubt about that.
"what does this 'company' do any way?"
Read the info I put in the iBox. Read the website.
"what is their current revenue?"
Read the filings. Not much yet, which is why it's obvious that this is nothing but hype. What I'm saying is that when this hype dies down, the company will still exist and just be beginning to do its thing.
"how long they been in business?"
Read the filings. July 9, 2010.
Because of completely manufactured hype from iHub. But once that subsides in a week or two, the real gains will commence.
Nothing wrong with a promo--I agree, depending on the type of promo. Those coming here trying to anticipate an APS or something similar are going to be sorely disappointed. You might see a self-made iHub promo, but that's about it. After that dies down, you'll see a business continue to grow.
Nope. Not the next promo.
It's ponche de frutas, and it's for anyone who thinks this is a promo of any kind. There might be a few iHub guys with 40 or 50 followers touting it, but it's not a promo stock. It's a real company (that I've been following for a long time; I'm the one who created the board) that's now public, and when a new ticker shows up, people like to speculate about promos. The speculators get the ponche de frutas.
Don't pity this fool! I hear what you're throwing out, but what I'm saying is that this isn't a momo play. Bring the momo and the party, by all means, and enjoy that short ride, but once that ends, that doesn't mean the profits end here. There's money for the short- and the long-term.
On the contrary, there's a lot to see with the company. Hope you'll be around long enough to profit from it.
There's no promo here. Just a company that's been building for well over a year and finally went public, is making a market, and is ready to grow. So we'll make money, but it's not gonna be because of a promo.
