Absolutely; and yeah, I intended a value comparison, not dollar for dollar.
Well, those guys are premium brands, so they have to acquire value brands to remain at the top, but because of their positioning, they can't simply roll in any old joe--their potential acquisition pool, I believe, is much smaller than Ecologic's would be.
My pleasure. My overall feeling after the meeting is that I'm confident that the ACE deal will be finalized before September is out. I think that the potential for up to $350 MIL in revenue is there, not so much for the rental acquisitions but because of Ecologic Shine, but I see that kind of revenue being 18 months away.
Valuation-wise, who knows (especially with all the recent volume and no pps appreciation), but I feel confident that we can climb significantly on ACE completion. 18 months from now? Could easily be looking at $10 if things go EGCT's way.
Probably because it's an incredibly difficult, complex industry (which they touched on in the meeting) that requires massive industry experience (thus, the need for Nesbitt). Acquisitions on this scale take years, and there are only so many established, profitable rental car companies out there to acquire and convert. ACE is the perfect target, and there are only one or two others like them in the country. The rest are either too large or too unestablished. That's why the ACE deal is a huge deal. If they finalize this agreement, they're well on their way to being the leader in the green space.
Here's a copy and paste of my brief, probably meaningless, unverified notes typed with one hand as I tried to do three things:
350 to 450 million in revenue
Met with 2 Fortune 200 companies
Targeting car companies in China, Europe, Japan, Korea
China trip set up through strategic investors
Nesbitt founded Alamo; involved with Delta, Harley Davidson, Waste Management, etc.
Using Ecologic as a marketing vehicle for their (Chinese) cars’ entry into America
Ecologic asked to formalize specifics on financing proposal
Have soft-circled; in next week to ten days, working toward formal commitment, which they’ll be able to announce. Will mention investment bank then.
Financing timeline: get commitment 7 to 10 days; within 3 weeks, announce
Financing is debt transaction, so no dilution; in capacity of lbo
Two years locked up with principals and owners of ACE; continuity in ACE CEO management
Ecologic Shine – mtg with huge company in USA and some in China (at municipality and state level: HUGE revenue potential; multiple cities with a million people); return trip for test presentation
Revenue stream projections: for car rentals, 350 million clear view in acquisition top-end revenue; could organically reach half a billion
If value of Ecologic is realized, we will be EXTREMELY valuable brand (cf. Dollar/Thrifty to Hertz acquisition). Directly compared our value to Dollar’s value ($87 a share).
People already wanting to join ACE in green thesis
EGCT with recent propositions from 6 operations in Brazil and 1 in England, 25 locations in Mexico
“at ACE, soon to be Ecologic/ACE”
“we know what’s in the barrel”
AZFL – EGCT holders 3% investors (46 MIL in real assets for Amazonas Florestal) take 3%, 1.38 MIL
Ted with 17 or 18% of EGCT; Ted not part of dividend (nor his wife, with 1MIL shares)

Hang in there, Chillaxin. We should hear some great stuff tomorrow night. Once we're past LOI stage and into on-the-books revenue, things will completely change for this company and our share price. Though the S/S is really great and the float is small, there are still enough free-floating shares out there from god-knows-where to do damage to our relatively illiquid stock.
Looking forward to the follow-up interview with EGCT tomorrow night. I think we're going to hear some amazing stuff from their trip to China, stuff that should send EGCT soaring.

I'm sure we'll be in great shape eventually--I'm just tired of roadblocks like these sellers keeping the pps down despite all the great stuff going on.
I think we can hit 5% of that number, at least!
Man, I don't know--there's definitely been a good bit of printing in this range. I have to believe it's either long-time (2+ year) holders looking for any way out with their large share blocks or buyers from the recent big-volume days not willing to hold any longer. There's no documented dilution, and Ecologic's history with transparency and FINRA and the SEC has been solid; I sincerely don't think there's anything going on besides sellers who don't believe in the company. What else could it be?
What will tell is when they finalize the ACE deal. Based on numbers alone, that should put us over $2. When volume comes in from that, if we still can't break .50, I'm out.
Looks like no interview tonight. Guess we'll hope for tomorrow.
That's an unfortunate queue system! If they are, indeed, having this interview tonight, very few are going to know about it. Better to just wait and do it tomorrow at this point. Moreover, our PR's don't get picked up by iHub for some reason, so even if it is published, it might not get picked up here, and even if it does, half the iHub traders are done here for the day. I know that iHub traders make up a VERY small portion of the target investment group for EGCT, but still.
I'm sure there's a good reason for all of it, but it sure is frustrating, especially not being able to hold support or sustain momentum while one or two jokers crash the share price like this afternoon.
What a ________ bunch of ________ __________s.
I'm absolutely convinced of it. Just have to get past the complete _____________s selling shares here in the .30s. They have no clue what's going on, and in the coming weeks and months, the share price will reflect the ACE acquisition and the other things we should be hearing about soon. I have no doubt we're sitting on at least $2 a share before long.
I think we'll hear some good stuff in the radio interview this evening, and I trust we'll start seeing things finalized in the next couple weeks.
When PERT (and UBSS) and the people they're scaring into selling right now hear the updates from China, they're going to wish they'd sold those shares at $3.20 rather than .32.
I don't yet see any information on the post-China follow-up interview. Anyone else heard anything?
We're supposed to get that follow-up interview with the EGCT Chairman (and CEO this time, I hope) tomorrow night. Should be at 7:00 CDT. We should find out tomorrow morning if that's correct.
I'm super excited to hear about the China trip and how much closer we are to closing the first acquisition and opening more revenue streams.
Yep, pretty mind-blowing, especially when, according to the first interview, Bill and Ted report back this week via radio interview about their [incredibly successful] trip to China.
Glad you're able to get more shares at a discount!
EGCT pullback off recent momentum. During the audio interview two weeks back, the Chairman mentioned a follow-up interview to discuss the results of the trip to China, including discussion of acquisition funding and potential product introductions. He said he was hoping to have that interview the week after he returned, and that's this week. Have you guys set that up?
Maybe others have, but I haven't heard confirmation. I'll see what I can find out.
Definitely looking forward to hearing about the trip, about financing to seal the ACE deal, about EGCT being used as a bridge for electric Asian cars to get into the US market.
UBSS and LAFC the only MM's currently under .48. UBSS and LAFC currently the only MM's who don't know what the _________ they're doing.
That ______________ UBSS flashing 60,000 shares on the offer at .49 scared people away. I understand selling, and I understand weighing risk/reward, but I don't understand the inability to think critically enough to space out your sells in small chunks, especially when buyers have lined up to buy at the offer. Just mind-blowing.
Make that .49 (really, UBSS?)
EGCT making a massive run. Sustained, record-breaking volume. Technicals screaming, and a break of .48, a two-year high, is just around the corner. There's something HUGE behind all of this, and I'm going to enjoy the ride as we wait to find out what it is.
It just blows my mind that there are any sellers trying to stem the tide right now. It's so obvious that there's huge money and solid motives behind this. EGCT is ready.
EGCT absolutely killing it this morning!
Really nice. Some folks are loading up strong on EGCT.
Higher highs and higher lows! Looks like the word about EGCT is beginning to spread organically. I look forward to hearing from the company about the trip to China (they're still there, I believe).
The key here (and what we've never really had) is momentum. If we can widen awareness and get some sustained volume (and some great news from China, of course), we could definitely be in for a nice ride.
Yep, and those were some big boys swallowing those shares today. From the looks of it, it was only a few buyers, maybe two or three at most, and if this is their starting point, we're looking really nice.
Looked to me like TEJS sold that 21,900 at .29. Can't be positive, but it appears that way. TEJS immediately backed off to .40 after that sell.
