pennystock, I wish you much success. If my calculations are correct, if you hold 18,000,000 shares at say an average price of .002 that comes to $36,000.00. My friend, that is a lot of money. To be sure, ILNS is a great stock but even so, the price per share tells you how risky the investment is. I would hold 2 or 3 million shares in ILNS and invest the rest in other companies. Not only are you spreading the risk around but you also increase the chances of success. A big move in just one out of 15 or 20 stocks will cover all other losses and give you a giant profit as well. Each additional stock you own offers you a new opportunity. Perhaps you have already done that. Maybe you hold 15 or 20 stocks with $36,000.00 invested in each one? If that is the case, is there any chance I can arrange to obtain a low interest loan from you? lol. Good luck my friend.
My good friend, that news was released on March 8th. But you are right about ILNS. It's a great stock and I am bullish on the stock like you.
Dear Millionaire:
I am sad to hear that Alzheimer's disease has affected your family. I stand with you. I hope Pfizer or someone buys out this great company and gets this product out to the public as quickly as possible. Good people who are ill need the science ILNS has to offer. Good luck to you my friend.
Yes the approval to do a stock split is from 2009-but not the reverse split itself. The actual timeframe to do the reverse split is in the 3rd quarter of this year. The paragraph I dicuss is from THE FEBRUARY 2011 10-Q, the most recent one!! As the February 2011 10-Q says, it was approved in 2009 and the plan to do it is in the CURRENT third quarter. I hope they don't actually do it.
A SHORT-TERM CONCERN FOR ILNS. I read a lot more about ILNS over the weekend. I am more excited than ever about this stock. However, between now and the next 21/2 weeks or the end of this quarter which I believe ends on March 31st, I have a concern. ILNS fiscal year ends June 30th of each year. My concern is about a paragraph on page 13 in the most recent 10-Q dated February 22, 2011:
“In December 2009, our shareholders approved a resolution authorizing the Company to amend its certificate of incorporation to effect a reverse split of the Company's outstanding common stock, pursuant to which any whole number of outstanding shares between, and including, fifteen and fifty would be combined into one share of common stock and to authorize the Company's Board of Directors to select and file one such amendment. Management intends to effectuate this reverse split during our third fiscal quarter.”
If I understand this paragraph correctly, we are in the third fiscal quarter now for ILNS. That means if a reverse split is going to occur it will happen in the next 21/2 weeks. Naturally, a reverse split, if history is any guide, would adversely affect the current Common Stock holders. I don’t know if ILNS will or will not do a reverse split. Will they do what they said they intend to do? I checked the prior 10-Q’s and the Annual Financials (10/13/2010) and I could not find any discussion about a reverse split. Thus, this paragraph appears to be new. It is clear that ILNS is diluting the Common Stock. The 10-Q repeatedly states that Notes Holders and Preferred Stockholders are being paid-off with Common Stock. An orderly dilution of Common Stock to pay debt does not concern me. Small pharmaceuticals do it a lot. They have to. But a reverse split is a different matter. I have already taken the necessary steps to protect my gains in ILNS. As you know I am in at .0015. As soon as April 1, 2011 comes by I will reassess the situation. If no reverse split has occurred, it’s party time! If a reverse split has occurred, I will wait and watch what usually happens in a reverse split and buy after the decline is over. I have removed my TP of .20 from my Personal Profile. I believe ILNS is going to make me more money than any stock I have ever owned! We have the good fortune to be in on the ground floor with a company that offers new and exciting cures for Alzheimer’s disease. Good luck to all of you.
Secret Money Making Strategies for ILNS.
Small pharmaceuticals like ILNS live in a world all by themselves. The usual rules of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets don’t apply to them in the usual sense. Over 90% of the financial statements for small pharmaceuticals are horrible. No sane person would invest in them–if you go by the financial statements alone. If a small pharmaceutical can fund its operations for a year that is great. If it can do it for six months that is good too. Most small pharmaceuticals go from one crisis to the next–that is the nature of the business. There are over 350 small pharmaceuticals in the U.S. and just about every one is months away from the next crisis. Secret No. 1. For a small pharmaceutical the most important number will never appear on the balance sheet or income statement. What is the market value for the drug the company owns? What is the true market value for the patents ILNS holds and will hold? For Oxigon, Antisenilin or RVO1? These numbers are very difficult to quantify. What is certain is that in the case of ILNS, that number far exceeds the debts of the company and any negative common stock value. Secret No. 2. The most important number to look at on a balance sheet for a small pharmaceutical is the Current Assets. Can the company fund operations for six months to a year? If yes, then in most cases you can forget about the rest of the balance sheet. It’s horrible anyway. The Current Assets are the most important number for a small bio company. For companies like Apple and Ford that is not the case. But small bio companies are different-and different rules apply. Secret No. 3. You do not have to win FDA approval to make a fortune in a small pharmaceutical. Almost as many millionaires are made on the road to FDA approval than afterwards. Even if ILNS never wins FDA approval for any of its patents, tons of money can be made in the SPECULATION that it will. This has happened countless times with small pharmaceuticals. Just putting an ILNS drug in Phase II or Phase III can cause the stock to go to $1.00 or higher. Just submitting a New Drug Application with the FDA alone can cause the stock price to rise dramatically. Also, ILNS does not have to conduct the trials! The market value of the patents increase as Phase I, II and III progress. Secret No. 4. Forget about the DJIA or the S&P. It does not matter whether they go up or tank. In most cases, and ILNS is no exception, what happens in the general market means next to nothing. Small pharmaceuticals are in a world by themselves. Most small pharmaceutical stocks like ILNS are in the tank. They are so low already that if the S&P dropped 50%– the ILNS stock price in most cases would hardly be affected-if at all. If the S&P doubled tomorrow, sorry, the same is true. Secret No. 5. The real secret to making money with small pharmaceuticals is to invest in 10 to 15 or 20 stocks. Some will go bust. Most will break even–maybe. What you are looking for is just ONE WINNER. That’s all it takes to own Boardwalk, wipe out all prior losses and pay-off Visa. In my opinion, small pharmaceuticals offer the greatest return for your dollar than any other area in the stock market. Investors in small pharmaceuticals have made 500% returns on their money in days because of a rumor-- even a false rumor. It happens more often with small pharmaceuticals than any other area of the stock market. Secret No. 6. There are two keys words to success with small pharmaceuticals: patience & science. You must hold long enough to win– sometimes 6 to 12 to 24 months or longer. Also, your company must have good science–the drug must show some kind of promise. Speculators who last long enough do so because they are not stupid. No science, no money. They will not invest in your stock unless it has something going for it. Welcome to Las Vegas. See you on the ILNS strip!
You are correct that the 10q says:
"We anticipate that our existing capital resources will not enable us to continue operations past mid March of 2011"
However, that kind of language is standard fare for small pharmaceuticals. I have read that statement in dozens of financial statements by small pharmaceuticls. Management paints a very bad picture to protect themselves from lawsuits and to alert the investor that it is a risky investment. What you fail to understand is the most important number for a company like ILNS never appears on the balance sheet or the income statement. What is the value of Oxigon, Antisenilin or Rov1? There is no question that the market value of these items far exceed the total debts of the company. ILNS has a liquidity problem. Most small pharmaceuticals do. Your suggestion that ILNS may file Chapter 11 would be very risky for Dr. Chain. In a Chapter 11, he would have a limited amount of time to file a Chapter 11 Plan that keeps the intellectual assets at ILNS. After that brief period, the top 20 Largest Creditors can file a Chapter 11 Plan and take the patents. Thus, Dr. Chain is far more likely to sell than run to the bankruptcy court.
BKstock, I think that is old information. I checked the ADLS web page and they say nothing about a submission to the FDA in 2011. Clearly, any submission to the FDA would be important and would be reported on the web page. Right now ADLS needs to get through this nasty liquidity crisis. I think she will make it. Heaven knows Restanza is a great drug that is needed for national security reasons. Let's hope Brother Flavin can pull the rabbit out the hat.
My friends, please do not be discouraged. ILNS is a great company with a great future. Dr. Chain is a world class scientists who has a lot to offer people who are ill. There is an excellent chance ILNS could be at .20 in the not too distant future– maybe 6 to 18 months. If you bought in at .004, average down and hold. Start the capital gains clock working for you. ILNS will be back at .004 soon. As you know, I said ILNS would go down today. I am pleased that it did not go down as much as I thought it would. We closed extremely well–.0024. I am in at .0015 and it is not likely I will see that price again. We will know better in the next four or five days. Let me tell how big ILNS is in my opinion. I purchased 100,000 warrants in Boise (BZ) in March of 2009 for .01. The S&P hit bottom that month. The warrants cost me $1,004.00. I sold my warrants in December of last year and January of this year for over $1.00. Today they sell for around $1.40. I made a ton of money. My other big money makers from 2009 were QTM (.12), TSTR (.43) and CTIC (.081). TSTR is now in bankruptcy– but all of these investments paid +500% or better before I got out. CTIC paid in excess of 1,000% like my BZ warrants. I sold CTIC for $1.50 shortly after she lost at the FDA. In my opinion, ILNS WILL BEAT ALL OF THEM. To those who are patient and hold ILNS for the long term, you will make more profits than most people will make in a lifetime. Stick around, the show has just begun.
Thank you shotei for the info. However, I think it is a bit out of date. But again, thank you.
Sim you have said the truth.
I agree Golf. ILNS will be a great run. I see some of my comments have been deleted. Apparently, you can delete unfavorable comments here.
Dear Golf, I hope you will not be disappointed but I am a HE, not a she. I like mystery books and one of my favorite TV mystery shows was “Ellery Queen” starring Jim Hutton and David Wayne in the 1970's. It was learning how to correctly guess who the murderer was on that show that made me the world class investor I am today. LOL. That is the origin of my use of elleryqueen.
ROFLOL @ qstock. If you think I am bashing ILNS, I am afraid you have never met a real basher. Let's hope ILNS resumes it upward movement tomorrow. Generally, most people who are confident in their stock, would not consider my comments anywhere near bashing. I think I have more confidence ILNS than you do. As you know, bashing a stock almost never works. The market is too big and the great qualities a stock like ILNS has over powers any attempts at bashing. People who are afraid of objective comments concerning a great stock like ILNS are not confident, fearful and insecure. Don’t worry! Stop being afraid--even if ILNS goes down tomorrow you will still be a winner. ILNS is going to make you a pile of money.
It is my understanding when you have large volume and the stock drops 28% that is a bad sign. Cramer calls it the lie detector test. In any case, I hope you are right. I want the stock to go up.
I must confess that I am surprised there is so much optimism about GNTAD. So far, I have only been successful at losing money in this stock. If this baby does not improve a lot, I plan to sell in December to set off my gains elsewhere. Does anyone have a TP for this stock in 6 months? Why are you bullish on the stock? or bearish? If convenient, I would like to hear your opinion.
I must confess I do not understand the price movement of this stock. I am in at .0087 and I do not know whether to get out now and hang in there. I am grateful that my investment is very modest. Does anybody have any strong feelings about this stock one way or the other? I would like to hear your opinion.
It would have been nice if ADLS has gone up even just a little today. Nevertheless, the fact that it did not go down any further is a good sign. It even came off its new low. The worst may be over. However, I believe as soon as this stock settles down, it should drift back up. This is a short term liquidity crisis. ADLS's Restanza is a great drug and our military needs it badly. I believe this stock will make pay dirt for anyone who has the patience to hang in there. My TP is .50 in 6 months. GLTA
My friend, I am not trying to bash ILNS down. I like the stock a lot. I hope it goes up 1000% tomorrow. I have enough shares already to make a mint if this stock goes anywhere near .20. I am merely making a observation: we did not have one single rally today. All the pressure was on the down side. That means unless something else kicks in--it is highly likely this will continue tomorrow. One of the nice things about pharmaceuticals is they have these 1 or 2 day flare ups--which is a great way to make a fast buck--and then they drift down again. You have the great fortune to own a stock that will make you a lot of money. I am telling my friends about this stock and recommend that they buy some now. ILNS at this price is cheap. I wish you much success.
In the long term I am very bullish on ILNS. I am hoping for a pps of .20 in 12 months. In the short term, it is likely the stock will go down. There was not a single rally of any amount today. All the pressure was on the downside. This suggests the stock will continue to decline tomorrow. I am in at .0015. I would like to increase my shares at that price but I am not sure it will ever get that low again. ILNS is a great stock and the science she offers will help a lot of people. GLTA.
I am in ILNS for the long haul. Does anyone have any idea of where this stock might be by March 2012 or thereabouts? I think somewhere between .15 and .20. Anyone agree or disagree?
