HHSE has reached a significant turning point in the company's history!

HHSE and Getting Grace Films are pulling NO PUNCHES to make the marketing campaign for this acclaimed, family film (opens MARCH 23) into an EXTREMELY VISIBLE indie release! Here's a few key items from just the past few days:
1). NRB - Director and lead-actor DANIEL ROEBUCK was a speaker at last week's National Religious Broadcaster's convention in Nashville - and also conducted over a dozen Christian-media interviews that will be released during the week leading up to our March 23 theatrical launch.
2). CACHET ENTERTAINMENT - the hugely successful, Christian-specialty distributor and marketing agency behind films such as "God's Not Dead" and "The War Room" has joined the promotions team for "GETTING GRACE." This will be immensely helpful in branding the film to the Christian marketplace, as well as helping Hannover House reach the hundreds-of-thousands of taste-makers and influential leaders in this marketplace.
www,CachetEntertainment.com
3). TOUR BUS - The "GETTING GRACE" tour got two big boosts on Friday with the completion of the FULL SIZE touring Bus... AND... the Director's Winnebago. Both vehicles are prominently "wrapped" with "GETTING GRACE" imagery, and will serve as rolling billboards as the vehicles travel throughout the country over the next two weeks.
4). CHARITY SCREENINGS in LEHIGH VALLEY - Saturday (March 3), saw THREE SOLD OUT special event shows in Allentown and Bethlehem, PA - which raised over $20,000 for local Children's medical charities - and generated a TON of local goodwill, publicity and momentum. "GETTING GRACE" opens on March 23, and in this market, it will be playing at the AMC Allentown 16 and the Regal Northhampton 14 - both locations expected to have opening weekend sold-out shows.
http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/news/index.ssf/2018/03/rolling_out_the_red_carpet_for.html
5). LAUNCH OF 26-CITY TOUR! Immediately after the last of the Saturday Screenings, the "GETTING GRACE" tour hit the road! Promotional stops will hit a total of 26 major markets, and will have "special event screenings" in 15 markets. For locations and showtimes, visit the TOUR tab of the film's website, www.GettingGraceTheMovie.com
6). FIRST SCREENING: BOSTON'S FENWAY! Yes, folks, "GETTING GRACE" screened Sunday night at the Regal Fenway Park 13 Theatre in Boston... with media attendees, taste-makers, and general public meeting the two lead stars, DANIEL ROEBUCK and MADELYN DUNDON
"DEATH HOUSE" opened as a single screen exclusive at the Regency Plant 16 in Van Nuys, CA (a Los Angeles suburb in the San Fernando Valley). The 7:30 show was sold out over a week in advance, and was over capacity with Standing Room Only audience members, and a spill-over into the 9:55-pm showtime. Overall the film hit $10,295 for the three-day weekend... making it the HIGHEST PER SCREEN AVERAGE of any new release this week (beating out Red Sparrow and Death Wish on the per-screen basis - however, both those major studio releases did also have THOUSANDS of locations, so our achievement is quantified in comparison). Still... a win is a win!

Getty HD Broadcast News shot and edited a terrific piece from the event, which can be viewed here:
http://bit.ly/2HXVXzo
The Getty piece is used as raw material for local TV stations and websites to cut their own stories about DEATH HOUSE, as it opens on March 16 in 25 additional markets. Stills photos from the Associated Press are included near the bottom of this blog.
But that wasn't ALL happening with DEATH HOUSE - On Sunday Night (March 4) - on the birthday of Death House screenwriter GUNNAR HANSEN, another Standing-Room-Only event was held at the Sherman Theatre in Stroudsburg, PA - with over 275 attendees participating in a special event screening and the announcement of the Gunnar Hansen Film Scholarship Fund. Many movie fans will recognize the name GUNNAR HANSEN from his iconic and terrifying role as "Leatherface" in the classic "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Mr. Hansen passed away from cancer just days before the filming of "DEATH HOUSE," and producer Rick Finkelstein made a death-bed promise to Gunnar that the film would get completed and released.
IRS RESOLUTION - HHSE managers (Parkinson and Shefte) have had two meetings in the last week to resolve the issue of significant over-payment by HHSE of payroll taxes (including penalties and interest). Supporting documentation was provided, and there is an expectation of resolution (acceptance by the IRS) of the totality of payments within the next few days.
VODWIZ - The Company has reached an understanding for funding terms with a private investment group for the required financing to complete the VODWIZ website (to the Amazon digital formatting standards), and to upload over 2,500 titles and launch the site and the OTT channel. The timing of the launch is planned to occur immediately prior to the May 9th Cannes Film Festival start - as the VODWIZ site has the capability of delivering content worldwide (titles are restricted by territory based on underlying rights). As the marketplace matures and moves more towards digital streaming, the VODWIZ plan to carry thousands of programs from dozens of indie suppliers (and three major studio suppliers!), is potentially "the tail that wagged the dog" for HHSE revenues and future operations. The funding venture is expected to be documented and executed within the next few days.
FORM 10 FILING - we believe that the auditors will take about 30-days after receiving these final elements, at which time we will be filing the Form 10 registration statement. The company has engaged a new attorney specializing in S.E.C. filings and disclosures, so that we are minimizing the potential of S.E.C. issues or comments to the Form 10 filing.
YEAR-END FILINGS - The Q4 for 2017 is completed and will be filed in a timely manner with the OTC Markets. More importantly, it has been submitted to the outside CPA firm that is checking the formatting and back-up materials needed by the auditors. It is our belief that we can submit the full auditor's package this week.
LIBRARY VALUATION - at long last, HHSE has an updated Library Valuation that meets the auditor's requirements! This is an important element for the Form 10 filing as it impacts the company's balance sheet.

It Doesn't Take Much to Double or Triple the HHSE Share Price - Look at the market-cap spike for HHSE stock earlier this year (seen as June, 2017). This increase in PPS was due to shareholder excitement about the prospect that a merger with Crimson Forest would provide HHSE with high-profile films to distribute. The growth in PPS was not based on any increase in revenues (in fact, the time-distraction of the Crimson merger caused many 2017 releases to be delayed). The PPS spike was driven solely by enthusiasm.

(arguably the world's largest company based on the dual factors of gross revenues and total employees) and Stephens, Inc., recognized as the largest institutional investor group outside of Wall Street. Two other Fortune 500 companies were skipped over: Tyson Foods and J.B. Hunt... making our designation quite impressive! Go HHSE!

Successful, Experienced, Respected, Shareholder Friendly Management Dedicated to Building HHSE Based on Business Fundamentals Rather than Stock Promotion
We have an impressive slate of titles for 2018 and 2019 - and two terrific distribution partners for North America (Cinedigm Entertainment and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment) - as well as our direct relationships with all of the major theatre exhibition chains. Our "lower-end" titles are much higher profile than in past years... and our higher-end titles are now genuine theatrical caliber contenders. We are positioned for the proverbial lucky break that happens when the right film is released at the right time...
Go HHSE!
GETTING GRACE - opens in theatres March 23, and is already proving to be the company's top theatrical title, probably of all time (several "sneak peek" screenings have already occurred and SOLD OUT, with literally thousands of tickets cumulatively already sold!). This title deserves two or three mega-blogs. But for now, we'll include just a few images and a link or two.
Trailer # 1 (long version):
"DEATH HOUSE" will now launch on Friday, March 2 with a special media event and public opening at the Regency Plant 16 in Van Nuys, California. The Friday night showing will feature nearly twenty cast members, along with principal crew and horror-industry media. Producer Rick Finkelstein will speak briefly before the first screening, and will dedicate the film's launch to the memory of writer/actor Gunnar Hansen ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre") who passed away in November 2015 shortly after completing the first draft screenplay for "DEATH HOUSE." The film will also open on March 2 at the Stroud Mall in Stroudsburg, PA, which will feature a Sunday evening special event and presentation by director B. Harrison Smith.
Thanks for sharing! Active and current!!!
Who prays for Satan, the original sinner?
This is the opening line to the highly anticipated film Death House. Originally written by the late, great Gunnar Hansen (co-written by B Harrison Smith, who also directs the film), Death House has been called by some “The Expendables of Horror”. In reality, it is a 90-minute cross-genre, mixing horror and action. So sit back, buckle up and let’s take a ride through Death House.
Death House is a virtual who’s who in the horror world. It is easier to tell you which horror icon is NOT in this film. Kane Hodder leads the pack on this all-star lineup. He is joined by Tony Todd, Bill Moseley, Dee Wallace, Sid Haig, Felissa Rose, Tiffany Shepis, Sean Whalen, Vernon Wells, RA Mihailoff and I can go on.
Bill Moseley and Michael Berryman in Death House (2018)
The story follows Agents Boone (Cortney Palm) and Novak (Cody Longo) as they prepare to take an in-depth journey into “Death House”, a federal maximum security prison that does experimental testing on its inmates. The Prisoners experience virtual environments and studies are run in their natural environments prior to confinement. There are 9 levels of the Death House, with the 9thlevel holding “the 5 Evils”. This is going to be a key thing to pay attention to in the film. The agents take a virtual reality tour of the prison, its history, and are “introduced” to some of the prisoners.Satans in Death House (2018)
As the agents are touring the prison, the electricity goes out and all hell breaks loose, as do the prisoners. The prison runs on auxiliary power (it will be explained why they cannot restore power right away). The prisoners are able to leave their cells and begin to roam the prison, leaving dead guards in their wake. Like any great film where an escape is needed for survival, there is only one way to escape…get to the 9thlevel.
That is the general plot of the movie, without giving any key plot spoilers away. Time for my thoughts on this film. When I said that it is a roller coaster, I meant it. This movie takes you on a ride for 90 minutes and when you are done watching it, you have to ask yourself if you just watched or experienced your very own virtual reality tour. You will want to applaud when you see all of your favorite icons appear on screen and there are a few surprise cameos that are sure not to disappoint.
Speaking of things not disappointing, let’s talk about Kane Hodder. His performance in this film is nothing short of award-winning. In an ensemble cast of mega icons, he stands out. Following a private screening at Scare-A-Con, this past June,
Kane Hodder in Death House (2018)
" Caroline Williams said, “no one will ever call Kane just a stuntman again”. This has been referred to as “Kane Hodder’s movie” and I have no argument against that. Kane will always be known for his voiceless monsters (Jason Voorhees and Victor Crowley especially), but in this particular performance, he kills any rumors that he cannot be a leading ACTOR. He is absolutely brilliant in this movie.
I will admit, this movie will take watching more than once to truly grasp. Let’s be honest though, how many of us got the concept of Fight Club the first time through (put your hands down because you know just like me, you went back and watched it again after you figured it out)? Does this make Death House a bad film because you may have to go back and re-watch it? Of course not. Maybe you were in awe of the cameo to come on screen and missed something. There could be a lot of reasons why this may take seeing 2-3 times before you grasp everything. Guess what? That is by design and WHY this movie works as well as it does.
Let’s now address the white elephant in the room. This is NOT Freddy vs Jason vs Leatherface or any combination. Death House is a stand-alone movie that does pay homage to a lot of the classics that made us fall in love with horror. But it is not a retread, a reboot or anything like that. It has its own identity. It mixes the gore that the diehard slasher fans love, with the action the adrenaline junkies crave and also throws in a strong psychological plot that the thinkers lust after. This truly has something for EVERY horror fan.
Tony Todd in Death House (2018)
I’ve heard some people complain that the lighting was terrible, and the movie was too dark. I have 2 comments on that. Number 1, there was a power failure and all anyone has are flashlights, so how much light can there realistically be and give this movie the feel it is going for? And second, how many of us walk through a GREAT haunted house with little light? That type of haunted house where there was a new surprise at every turn. That one great haunted house where, when you are done, you want to go back! That is exactly what you feel while you experience Death House. I no longer say watch Death House, I say experience it.
Final thoughts
There are a few things I want you to take away from this before youBarbara Crampton, Cody Longo, Dee Wallace, Cortney Palm in Death House (2018)
Dee Wallace is a living legend and her portrayal of Dr. Fletcher stands toe to toe with her performance as Donna Trenton in Cujo (and I am not kidding). Kane Hodder is a legit actor and no longer “just a stuntman” or “just great on-screen monster.” As I have mentioned time and again, this is a 90-minute roller coaster ride that will leave you wanting more. This movie was Gunnar Hansen’s dream and his baby. Go see this for Gunnar and view his vision. I wish he could be here to see this come to fruition. He, however, left it in great hands. You can see what Gunnar wanted, through the eyes of B. Harrison Smith.
And last, this movie is not your typical good vs evil. It was never intended for that. This shows that good is dependent on evil and evil dependent on good. The two cannot exist without the other. If you ever have an opportunity to meet and talk with B. Harrison Smith at a convention, he talks about this very thing. This is actually the oldest storyline in existence. Was Lucifer not a fallen angel? The very opening line of the movie which I will remind you of is, “Who prays for Satan, the original sinner?” That line narrated over the opening credits is not just a cool way to open a movie. This film is the ultimate example of you cannot have evil without good and good without evil.
Death House was scheduled to open this weekend, but unforeseen circumstances created a delay. Next weekend it will open in LA and the following week it will expand to more markets including Philadelphia, (wherein the suburb of Cherry Hill, NJ, Monster Mania Con is going on that weekend and will have at least 2 stars from Death House, including Kane Hodder).
Overall Grade on Death House:
A+ and I wish I had a 3rd hand so I could give it 3 thumbs up.
