Ah yes, that is the location of the crop that vspc planted in april of 2009 on 100+ acres.
The Giant King Grass crop that was planted in late-April 2009 on 112 acres in Guangdong province is now more than seven feet tall. Most of the crop will be used to produce seedlings for an expected large planting next year. A single Giant King Grass plant can produce 20 to 35 new seedlings each year, which allows geometric expansion of plantings and therefore future harvests.
I like this, from an article last november.
The story in the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily—the city's top newspaper and one of the most influential in China-- was headlined "Using Giant King Grass to Generate Electricity is 1/4th the Cost of Solar" and featured a picture of Dr. Kukkonen with Giant King Grass. The article went on to say that Giant King Grass was a great renewable alternative to replace coal. In addition, the cost of generating electricity with Giant King Grass is only 1/4 solar, 1/2 of wind, and substantially cheaper than natural gas and crude oil. At the end of the article, the paper noted that only 80 million hectares of Giant King Grass could replace the world's need for coal.

You are welcome, just glad to be able to help.

Does this help? The 9110 is listed at 28.

Especially since giant king grass is listed on cleantech's website.
Is this an indication that business is to be done with viaspace? It would seem that it does as we are told that GKG can only be obtained via viaspace.

Why is there no quote for some securities?
There are several possibilities:
1) The security is not quoted on Pink Sheets. You can verify this by checking the “Primary Venue” for the stock. It will be listed on the individual quote page for the security you are looking at. If it says “Other-OTC,” then no market maker is publishing a quote for this stock in the Pink Sheets; it is what is known as a gray market stock.
2) There is no inside market on Pink Sheets for the security. Pink Sheets website displays inside or best bid and ask information. The inside is a calculation of the best, or highest, of all the bids and asks published by individual market makers in Pink Sheets. In order to calculate an inside market, there must be at least 2 priced bids and/or 2 priced ask quotes. There is no requirement for a market maker to publish priced quotes in Pink Sheets; they can publish unpriced quotes. If we cannot calculate an inside bid or ask, then N/A will appear in the Best Bid and Best Ask fields on the quote page of pinksheets.com.

Wasn't sure what it was all about and I found this to help explain it to some degree.
Singapore Corporate Tax Guide
Singapore is often cited as the leading example of countries that continues to reduce corporate income tax rates and introduce various tax incentives to attract and keep global investments. Singapore has a single-tier territorial based flat-rate corporate income tax system. Effective tax rates as one of the lowest in the world and the general “business friendliness” of Singapore are the two important factors contributing to the economic growth and foreign investment into the city-state.

That's what I see.

VIASPACE and General Biofuels have discussed the project with large potential customers in Europe during meetings in February. One potential customer has already tested Giant King Grass.
Here is a list of the bioenergy companies that was put together for 2009/2010. I am going to pick my way through it when I have time, feel free to do the same.

Maybe we can get lucky and get a clue to who they were in discussion with in Europe in February.

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- VIASPACE Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VSPC), a clean energy company growing Giant King™ Grass as a low-carbon, renewable biomass crop, reported that Giant King Grass has been tested by a world leading testing and verification company. Samples were provided by VIASPACE to a potential customer in India that is considering Giant King Grass as fuel for a power plant to generate electricity. The customer submitted the sample to the Indian branch of the testing company for independent analysis of energy content including proximate analysis, ultimate analysis and ash analysis.
I wonder if this is related.

I am sure nobody cares but I have to say that the bickering that is going on between T9F and others is rather annoying. A complete waste of a read each and every time. Atleast now I don't have to read any of it. Flippin childish!

When the company I work for sold it went private. It was a big payday for those that bought it up when it hit $5 and was $26 upon being sold. I hope that does not happen with Viaspace. I want to be able to watch this thing grow and be a part of it.

Josh, funny post, I like it.

I like your style when it comes to investing ole. I choose to do the same. If this pans out all stand to make big dollars.

I would be happy with .16 to .20 by the end of the year.
The company I work for, a pulp and paper mill, is trying to get the approval for a biomass boiler and I am keeping a close eye on it because I am interested in what fuel they plan on using.

What does this mean for vspc? Been a long road with lots of high hopes.

It is showing the same as Scottrade.
