Relative Strength Alert For MFA Financial
https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/relative-strength-alert-for-mfa-financial
Great day today. Just too bad we're digging out of a hole when we should have been closer to $5
Did we have news today?
Doubt it. Most of the market is going RED after what was a very nice start to the day.
RKT still below IPO price for a company with huge profits.
Mind boggling!

Nice to hear from you AW.
Dividend payday. Cant seem to get over that $4.70-$4.90 hump but as long as the dividends keep coming, I'm happy.

For me they are. I made money on the twins. Not as much as I could have but still they did me well.
My regret is not trading from the time I first bought them in 2013. Honestly, I'd be comfortably retired.
So quiet you can hear a PIHN drop
2011 here we come.
I think we all do. This one and $HEXO are two of the worst I've had in a long time.

I agree. It will be real exciting if they ever get back to .20 but I'm not holding my breath with everything still being in Covid limbo.
Churned its way into the dreaded trips
Must be a ton of resistance around 4.80-4.90
Every time we approach it, we get socked back down.
MFA Financial has recently been favored by Wall Street.

No volume on a sub penny? Hopefully someone does some slappin' before this thing drips back into the trips.
You called something everyone knew was inevitable.
Cookies for all.
Not much preventing this from going back to 2008-2012 prices
Something brewing in aftermarket or is that just a glitch?

Not yet. It will be back in the trips...as predicted.
But it's not difficult to predict PIHN. It's been doing the same thing for a decade.
There's a certain mortgage company I know of that doesn't seem to have enough "thrust" to get off the IPO ground. Despite reporting billions in profit.
You sound surprised.
And here we sit below IPO price with a company that reported billions in profit.
Makes no damn sense.
Makes more sense why a lawsuit on behalf of the "public interest" should have been filed for putting their tax dollars in jeopardy.
Using taxpayers as your excuse while being sued by those same taxpayers is difficult to defend.
Short lived. Should be back in the trips in the next week or so.
Good ole PIHN. Business exists on paper only. No customers. No revenue. No headquarters. No response. No answer.
And has been for many, many years ;)
TP Toilet Paper has been much more useful and valuable than TP Tim Pagliara over the years.
Is PIHN thin?
I think the idea was, it would be a lawsuit representing taxpayers being put in jeopardy if FnF should ever need a "bail-out" due to no capital.
There are certainly a lot more taxpayers than there are shareholders but difficult to sue based on "if"
MFA Announces Completion of Acquisition of Lima-One Capital
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mfa-financial-inc-announces-completion-130000354.html
That kind of reminds me of something that was suggested a few years ago. The person said someone other than shareholders needs to file a lawsuit.
I cant remember all of it or who it was, but they made some great points.
It doesn't stand for anything. It's more of a joke. MEME stocks are stocks that see big price increases, mostly driven by people on social media (Reddit, Twitter, Tik Tok etc.)
I suppose it's a new way the young whipper-snappers say "pump"
